- A return trip to Burntisland, this historic Fife coast village is a treat for all. I head up the Binn hill to see Burntisland from the best position.

That tree swing brings the big kid out in you. Nice video Derek
Well, you definitely do not look weird. Another great episode as usual.
Looking fresh mate. Love burnt island, especially in the summer for the fair.
Nice town Burntisland. Lovely beach used to go there with my parents in the summer from Kirkcaldy. Later in my youth I used to trudge the streets picking up football pools from householders. Commissioned based used to make a £1.00 a week!! Like that bin walk must do that one day. Another good video.
Great video and a real trip down memory lane for me. It's a long time since I've been there. Thanks for this.

Looks better without the full beard....Keep it trimmed
Brilliant Derek. Definitely better losing the beard.
Fab thank you. But if I'm honest I think the beard should come back! Makes you look younger somehow!
@katep23 haha I've had very mixed reactions.
Why is it called Burntisland ginger man… will you tell me in this video
There is no definitive clear answer to this question, however, this is one explanation.
"It is difficult to ascertain the origin of the name. The traditional story is that it arose from the burning of a few fishermen's huts, upon a small island on the west side of the harbour, which induced them to take up their residence where the town now stands"
Burnetts land…. Named after a landowner
Great video but it looks so wrong without your beard lol
😂Thank you
Two great chippies in Burntisland
