Thank you for a great overview and reminding me that I’m lucky to live here. It’s easy to forget sometimes. You did a good walk and thankfully the sun was shining. I’m amazed you didn’t get the train passing by. Maybe next time 😊
Fantastic ,thanks for sharing . As a kid I would fly my balsa model aircraft at the town hall ,i was also a miner at 16 for a year working underground at kinneil colliery . Today I now live in Cupar Fife ,been in aviation for 40 years now and fly light aircraft as a hobby it all started in Boness 😊 Regards Dave Muir
Great wee toon DB and worth going back to see Kinneil estate where Scotland’s oldest hillclimb occurs each year in September, and James Watt’s workshop, Roman time settlements, old Kinneil village, remnants of Antonine Wall etc? great walks there, the Hippodrome is Scotland’s oldest purpose built cinema and a great watch & over 100yrs old, the car museum is close to the railway and you can catch a trip on the train along to Kinneil 😊 💡
I came home to Scotland, loved it so much I am moving back in 2025 .I just started selling all my possessions here to fund the latest chapter in my storey. See u in 2025 Scotland❤
We will be travelling up from Liverpool via Windermere in a couple of weeks to stay in Bo’ness for 4 days. It will be our HQ while we attend the Linlithgow Party at the Palace and visit Edinburgh. We will follow your footsteps in the video and try and visit the places you’ve covered. The motor museum is also on the list.
Enjoyed seeing this video. My hometown, but have lived in Texas since 1983. Oh, how I long to be back in Bo’ness. Lots of friends still live here, so would love to meet up again. Thank you for posting!
watched your Strathmiglo one, we bought a house there and are moving soon. you didn't walk past our new house but we did see it on you drone video. also the Falkland with east Lomond, that little river valley and the over hanging waterfall. thank you for filming places
Could have had a wee tour round all the flower beds looked after by Blooming Bo'ness as well, you nearly were quite close to some as you walked past the Bus station....
Great video but you missed so much, Kinneil estate is a 2 hour visit with the house, museum, old church ( I think 16th century), James Watt cottage, Antonine way. You should also plan next year for Bo'ness fair..will need 2 days though.
Amazing drone footage. Bo'ness is a nice wee town though if you read the urban dictionary's definition you would probably have avoided. 😂. Lived there for a couple of years near the waterfront. Was cool being woken up by steam trains passing by. They hold one of Europe's biggest childrens fair day festivals in June. A day when the whole town basically gets rat arsed!! 😂 The Falkirk area recently won an award for the best walking area in the UK. If you ever head further west to Falkirk does that mean I've to stick the kettle on? 😂 I see your back to the beef hula hoops....the choice of champions. What is it with us Fifers and Beef Hula Hoops. 😊👌✌
Watched the full video now. There's loads more in the town you've still to see. Definitely go back.
Agreed
Goan yersel Bo'ness! ♥️

Interesting fact about the Hippodrome Cinema. It's the oldest surviving cinema in Scotland.
