Good luck!!!!! I think I may have it too. Here is my life story; I use to be overweight and HATED it. I started running everyday and lost 65 pounds. But lately, I have been losing too much weight, I am a man that weighs 115 pounds. I have been getting hungry lately, it takes ALOT to fill up my stomach. I have eaten up to eight tacos one night, I went to the fair last weekend and LITERALLy ate something from EVERY booth, I have eaten up to 5000 calories but haven't gained a pound, actually lost

Hey great video. When you were speaking, i felt like I was listening to myself. I was recently diagnosed with graves disease (hyperthyroidism) and suffer that awful nervousness & anxiety you talked about. Since I've had it I feel the same... have difficulties getting things done and feeling 'normal'. I decided NOT to go with taking medication bcs I read that my body can heal itself and so I'm committed to a really strict healthy diet designed for graves disease & taking high quality supplements

I have hyperthyroidism for over 10 yrs I have been in remission before and the blood shows its undetectable but you still have it. Hyperthyroid DOES not go away. I had radiation as treatment to kill the thyroid gland and so far I am negative and hopefully stay negative if the radiation destroyed the thyroid gland. Ask your doctor about options and if you can have radiation for hyperthyroid. Also its best to do your own research about hyperthyroidism. Good luck

I was diagnosed with graves disease 4 months ago and given carbimazole. After a month, I got flu symptoms and found out I was allergic to it. The doc told me not to take it anymore - but by this point they said my blood results had confirmed my T.S.H/ T4 etc was normal. I've since had 2 blood tests which still show as normal = even though I've still got hyperventialltion/palpitations/ tiredness - and a goitre! The doc think's it's in my head and is asking how my life is!!! arg!

I have also lost weight while averaging 2500 calories daily for an active man. I have had other symptoms; my fingers are beggining to club, my nails look whiter, I have pain in my eyes, my hair is getting thin, my neck is feeling uncomfortable, I have mild tremors, my heartrate has gone up from 65 to about 95, I have problems going to bed, I have difficulty concentrating in class, my adam's apple looks bigger, I hate being in the heat, it's hard for me to get cold, and the littlest things piss

um Its not a disease, its an iodine deficiancy. iodarol is a quality iodine supplyment which should clear your symptoms in days.

Check the ingredients in your food! I'm hyper and realized whenever I ate something with artificial sweeteners( aspartsame) I felt horrible. Hope that helps!

actually it has to do with iodine in 3rd world countries but in america its usually doesnt soround iodine, iodine deficiencies usually cause goiters other then tht her hormones are releasing to many thyroid hormones… Which causes hyperthyroidism

I too have hyperthyroid and I struggle everyday with the side effects of it. I was taking 60mg of methimazole a day and It tseemed like I was taking a million pills before i saw any effects. I had given up on the pills several times. Had RAI done a year ago with no results from that either. It has caused me to have really bad anxiety and depression from it. I have another appt. with an endo next month for RAI again...not looking forward to it. I feel really light headed and shakey all the time.

@spidurrman23 Yes pretty much! My blood tests came back just about perfect. I moved interstate and had a new doctor, which is annoying because you have to tell them your life story, organise you're other doctor to send over your records and it's just such an annoyance. The irony is, I wanted a doctor's certificate for my university to state I have a medical condition, and this new doctor wouldn't issue me the doctors certificate. He said "as far as your new blood work shows, you don't have it"

I have it too. And it sucks. But I would say get out there and have fun regardless. You only live life once and everyone will die someday so it's best to live in the moment and take advantage of the Time you have. I u derstand how it feels though. Me I'm just irritable and I blow up on ppl easily.

Fuck , i just realized i might have this. I know i get anxiety and heart palpitations like my heart is beating too loud, and ive had hair loss for a while now, i'm underweight, i think this answers my questions. I really hope i don't have this though but with these symptoms, is it likely? neverousness happens too :( I think its because i rarely ate a day last year and a lil bit 2 years ago, then suddenly my body over acted.

last time i tested in the normal high range but am seeing some effects. my tsh was 0.006 now it is 0.05 i think thats what he said =). I am really stressed out all the time and have anxiety because I have a 2 yr old and i dont think that I can do the RAI if I dont get a babysitter. I HATE taking the pills because they make me really sick. I just want to feel NORMAL if possible. I just hate feeling like I am always racing around and jittery all the time. Do u have extreme hunger spells? I do! LOL
