- Jambo! I traveled to Zanzibar, Tanzania in Africa with my sorority sisters for our anniversary trip. We explored many places including: The Rock Restaurant, Prison Vanishing Island, Stone Town, Spice Farm, East African Slave Trade Memorial, Tumbatu Island, Mikumi National Park Safari, the Sea Turtle Conservation and more! We stayed at the Royal Zanzibar Resort & Spa on Nungwi Beach and enjoyed their all inclusive experience. On the beach we found jet skis, henna tattoos, African hair braiding, shopping, boat rides, etc.

Your video came right on time. Planning to go in aug 2024 and staying at jambo. What airline did u fly, and how long was the trip? That's the only thing that's giving me reservations. The flight 😵💫 loved your video, though. You highlighted all the things i would like 2 do.
Thank you, Tanzania is everything! You’ll love it. We flew Qatar. I personally had a horrendous flight experience on the way back and they don’t have adequate customer service… but the flights were designed for comfort and it was pretty good up until they fumbled! Qatar was highly recommended by my line sisters😊

Thank you! Sadly, I don’t have that information. The trip provider wasn’t able to share that with me. However, I believe the tour guides work at the spice farm and you can get a tour through the farm!

Wow, great video! I'm going in 2 weeks. How long were you in Zanzibar and how many hours was the safari?
Hello! We were in Zanzibar for 5 days but the overall trip was about 8 days with travel. The safari was a good 6-8 hours. 8-10 hours including air travel.(I can’t remember exactly, it was so long ago but it was a full day excursion) You will need to fly into the safari from the local airport.
