Imagine showing up to a table shuffling your hand and you think "I've got a nice hand" only for the K'rrik player to say "Turn 1 win?". Though to be fair, Top decking the Chrome Mox did help
The moment you see k'rrk and aren't playing blue you already know this can happen.
Still probably isn't that fun because of the shuffling, online it's probably just a funny occurrence.
Yeah the top deck Chrome Mox is the only thing that made this hand keepable! It's a sit and do nothing until you draw a land or rock.
I totally went back and forth with this hand, thinking “this is kinda risky but with insane upside, but I’m in seat 1 so let’s go for it”.
I couldn’t have asked for a better turn 1 draw! Happy it worked out, haha.

@@MortiviusMTG I was sitting there like "Okay get a land and K'rrik by turn 2 you can probably do something with that". I didn't think you'd be able to do all that. But I also forgot Sacrifice was in the deck so I was like "Beseech for Reanimate so next turn you get a Vilas"

I use to play krrik at my local cedh league. People learned really quick to mulligan to interaction. And always get aggro over adnaus players. It’s not super viable in my local meta anymore, but still super fun though.

K'rrik is my favorite deck aside from my locust God. It's not cEDH level yet but I'm constantly upgrading it. Watching Peter pilot his is incredibly satisfying.
Peter is so skilled with this deck, actually crazy

I love the videos. But I’d love to see more variety in the decks that get played in the videos. The same few decks tend to get played continuously in these videos

Damn all that krriking around and people still hate urza decks.
I feel like anytime you guys show Krrik games it never has to face any decks with a lot of interaction. This gives a false sense of the deck being super successful where most games Krrik shoots it shot and one counter spell can completely put it out of the game. Krrik has an 8% conversion rate according to EDHtop16 games are not typical.
Not true it’s lost to decks with interaction. Not to mention he was playing Kinnan this game………

Kinnan is not typically an answer deck, it can grind with the best of them for sure. Ive just seen similar vidoes in the past where they feature Krrik and the games were very similar. @@SAIBOT64

He’s playing against a kinnan which is very interactive. Not to mention sissy runs a good number of counter spells as well.

Peter keeps an opening hand that’s unplayable. Top decks the exact card he needed to go off, 🤔 maybe he took a free scry in the beginning 😉 but that was either awfully greedy but even moreso Suspicious.
G2 turn 2 Peter drawing exactly a swamp to snuff out drannith, suspicious but surely more plausible.
The turn 1 unplayable hands into Yugi draws god hands are suspicious on this channel. But I digress there are no stakes and it’s for entertainment so pop off.
Hey there! For game 1 you’re absolutely right, the hand was a risky keep. I went back and forth on it for a while, but ultimately thought “I’m in seat 1 with K’rrik, I can win no later than turn 2 if I top deck a land or fast mana” and I ended up ripping the Chrome Mox off the top. Sometimes you get rewarded for just going for it - it was a hell of a draw!

krrik is sooooo good it has a converison rate of less then 8% and folds to a single pongify ... it helps playing with bad players ... peter be pubstomping this channel for so long ... they should know what to do by now but they seem just too dumb lol
