This fight scene is horribly shot! Too many cuts when not needed and half the time it's hard to follow... they really need to improve the camera work when it comes to fight scenes.

The only explanation is the runes block their magic and magical nature away so their frost giant physiology and strength too? Clutching at straws here 😅

@@deadstar4416 thats actually fault in the movie.... they have said the hammer is only to channel his energy or whatever. not the source of it. so him losing his strength in the movie is a problem. also loki was outside the tva when he was on the train. no connection with the tva. loki uses his magic to lift up that collapsed building. so he has his magic.
I don't understand why they can't just film a simple fight scene without cutting every 2 seconds, it's really annoying when u consider how big their budget is and they waste it on this...

Notice this scene also focuses more on Sylvie than the actual main fucking character. You can thank the feminist director for that.

I'm not necessarily a Last Jedi fan or hater, thought the movie was decent, but that fight scene was amazing. Yes, Ik if you slow it down, the beginning shot has some flaws, but cinematic fight scenes aren't supposed to be interpreted frame by frame, like nobody saw that first viewing. Now the Kylo vs Luke fight did suck
