What I love is the fact that they kinda tied in the mythology and comics a bit here. In the stories Loki was eventually punished for his crimes by being placed in the roots of Yggdrasil the World Tree for a giant snake to drip its venom into his eyes for eternity. They turned the camera on its side as he took control of the time stream and showed that it looked like a giant tree. A nice touch I think.
He finally achieved his glorious purpose but he had to go through pain, loss, hopelessness, grief, sadness, worries and anxiety. He never gave up and learn what is actually important and he rose to another level. Never give up, Never give in, remember what's important.
Can I point out that, after filling his mind with everything there was to learn about science, engineering, and mathematics, it was Loki's heart and emotions that saved the multiverse? It's a fascinating message.

He finally achieved his glorious purpose but he had to go through pain, loss, hopelessness, grief, sadness, worries and anxiety. He never gave up and learn what is actually important and he rose to another level. Never give up, Never give in, remember what's important.

This was such a sad scene for me. He is winning, but feels like losing as well.
Hatoffs to writer, they showed us difference between loki and he who remains in the same as tony and thanos.
He who remains (like Thanos) made sacrifice to make a better world for himself and loki(like tony) sacrificed himself for the people he loved.
