@@TravelwithchrisA TH-camr visits a country to distort it, based on its poor population waiting for a homeless person to give them a little money and a hungry person who makes a backward comment We are in 2023 world I walk around all of Tunisia and I do not see scenes of poverty and deprivation, but I see them on the channel of a homeless TH-camr who lives in the Middle Ages

Also there was a battle of Tunisia which opened the gate way for the invasion of Sicily and the invasion of Italy and plus it helped secure the war for the Allies in the west.

Based on what I've seen on other vlogger, I will recommend you try visit Sidi Bou Said it's a 30 minutes ride from the city of Tunisia and it's very beautiful there it will remind you of a Greek island of Santorini or Mykonos because of its blue & white architecture and it's located along the beach. Nice view and town. And I recommend you try to use DJI Osmo 2 gimbal camera, because I've seen in your previous videos you keep on complaining about your camera who always shuts down while you're filming and it's not of good quality. I like this kind of camera style because it's very cute and lightweight and easy to bring while you're capturing videos. It's affordable too. Most vlogger loves it. I'm your fan from the Philippines.

Thank you for this amazing video ❤ after watching, I'm feeling very proud to be Tunisian. The building you were wondering about is the municipal theatre of Tunis and it first opened its doors in 1902. The guy standing on a horse next to the fountain is ex prresident Habib bourguiba (actually the first one) since before him it wasn't a Republic. The building you said was interesting next to the fountain is an abandoned hotel (since 2002/hotel du lac)

Love the video!!! as for the cactus fruits you tried you're not supposed to chew on the seeds because they'll get stuck in your teeth just munch on them slightly, and it depends on the person but we could eat around 7 or 8 or more pieces if they're sweet, they could cause constipation in some cases if eaten in many quantities and on an empty stomach and the opposite could happen and it could cause diarrhea but that also depends on the person.

The fruit you purchased is called "hindy" in tunisian, it's prickly pears, they grow on cacti and it's available anywhere the soil allows it to grow 🤣 you eat the whole thing, but we don't chew, it's more of small bites that you swallow!

Tunisia is considered the first country in the Arab world and Africa in terms of development, culture, conquest, women’s freedom and availability, and Tunisian women are the first in the Arab world and Africa in terms of rights and liberation. The population of Tunisia speaks Arabic, but DNN's analysis showed that Arabs do not exceed 4% of the population, and that 70% are Amazigh and 26% are a mixture of Italians, Andalusians, French, Germans, Turks and Greeks, and Tunisia is approximately 100 km from Italy

The currency is Dinar not Dirham
About the seeds😅 that fruit is very healthy from Cactus tree you find them all over the country especially going south
The monument with the horse statue is for Habib Bourguiba leader as well as that Blv with fountain is named after him
you should probably run a quick wiki history before visiting each country
Dont miss out “Lablabi” dish a hot early morning food challenger
Enjoy your stay and welcome to Tunisia

As mentionned in previous comments, it's dinars ;)
Seeds of "hindi", you can swallow them, they're very small. Even in North America, we get them from Mexico. He charged you too much though 🤨 we usually buy them 4 for 1 dinar. Enjoy your trip!!!

Great Video!! Safe Travels and enjoy your time. that’s actually a good price for the Pomegranate juice. I’m traveling T’bilisi Georgia and they’re about 30 Lari which is about a little over 10 USD

I also advise you to visit the northwest, such as Bizerte, Beja, and Jendouba, which have very picturesque natural landscapes, and also Kef, my region. There is a Roman castle.

Nice video hope you enjoyed Tunisia ! Hope you visit other cities than Tunis they're really worth it !
Just a little advice when eating pickly pear ( we call it " hindi " here) . you don't need to chew them a lot, just crushing them a bit with your teeth or against your palate and swallow them. if you chew them a lot only seeds will remain and it won't be a very good experience

You got that right bro, the American way is to pour concrete as saves the benjis over doing nice tiles. Check out the Star Wars filming locations in that country.

I'm glab you loved Tunis! I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip. Though, it would have been good if you did some more research about the history and basic facts about the country before coming (like the currency is Dinars not Dirhams and the main avenue's name), it would be more enjoyable.
