You would put whatever hair color you currently have. If you sometimes have red or sometimes brown, have 2 resumes and use the appropriate one depending on what color you have at the moment.
I was just a featured extra! I know background/extra work doesn’t go on the resume but my character was the focal point of the scene and my character had a name, would it be unprofessional to add it? I just want to show that I have professional set experience!
🤔 it's honestly a tough call. If you got enough footage to be able to add it to a reel, then maybe? If it was me, I would use it on the resume only temporarily until I can replace it with something else.
Hi Jackie, a cover letter usually goes before the resume or can be included within the resume. Is this on Backstage or seperate? A cover page/letter is basically how you tell them about yourself and who you are as an artist.
Some people say yes, but I would advise you to do short or student films instead. It is much better for being able to get more hands-on acting experience and get some footage to get your reel started.

Hi Miranda, at first I thought no since it doesn't really have anything to do with your training in acting. This is something you can add to your resume if there is a specific audition that would require your knowledge in a subject you are an expert in. But if you take a look, most of the things in the resume are shows, training and special skills. It might go in specials skills. What specifically within liberal arts are you most passionate about? I might be able to help you squeeze it in there creatively lol
Hi. I just found out about an application for a TH-camr’s board game that’s in development who said that voice actors are able to apply. I really want to be a part of it but…I’ve never voice acted before and I’m worried that I would have no chance since I have no major experiences. I really want to get my foot in the door. I’m just wondering what should I say if this is my first time.
Hello! I don't do much voice over work but I suggest creating your own reel at home and follow the instructions they provide for the audition. Also, rejection is part of the game. You will very likely get 20-100 no's at the beginning until you get a yes, so start getting those no's. 😊 You got this.

You join the union a few different way but basically by paying a joining fee and working on a union job where you get 1-3 vouchers depending on what kind they are.

A union is an organization that is there to support employees to make sure they are being treated fairly and paid what they deserve among many other things. In acting, we have a union called SAG-AFTRA that many people choose to join. I have a Playlist on this if you want to learn more. 😊
You should choose your stage name and always use that across all platforms and resumes. If you want your stage name to be your nickname then go ahead and put that. 😊👍
