Another epic video! Thanks! I need to get my hands on a new Trojan! I custom built one but mine got stolen by the wind and eaten by a tree… was never able to find it again. Just like Disney magic gone for good!
Just bought this little Trojan as my very first RC aircraft. I was amazed at how easy it was to fly for someone who had never flown an RC aircraft before. By the second flight I had turned off stabilization and was doing loops, aileron rolls and even Cuban 8’s! I even nosed it into the ground pretty good with only the prop popping off as a result. Full disclosure I was previously a flight instructor in real aircraft with a decent amount of aerobatic experience, but I stopped flying a couple years ago so this is how I guess I’ll be getting my aviation fix from now on : )
The amazing thing is guys, that the eachine warbirds (if placed in beginner or intermediate mode) will fly nicely in winds that you wouldn't even dare to fly your large 1100 mm to 1400 mm planes without stabilization. Keep one in the car and throw them up anywhere.
Before the US came into World War II, the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP) painted their trainers that bright yellow, for exactly the reason of enhancing their visibility. In the US the North American T-6 was called the Texan, but in the BCATP they were called Harvards. The US Navy, just to be different, called it the SNJ. Canada was the primary training country for BCATP since we could easily ship trained aircrews to both the European and Pacific theatres. Some 131,533 Allied pilots and aircrew were trained in Canada at 231 locations across Canada, two of which were in Ottawa, and one is just a little over a mile from where I live at RCAF Station Uplands, now Ottawa International Airport.

I have the Eachine P-51. What a fantastic cheap plane!!! It's crashes upwards of 15 times. I just keep clipping the prop back on, send back up, and continue to get better at flying. Great little starter plane to get a feel of if RC planes are right for you. ...for me?? I want to get the BF109 and have mock dog fights with friends!! Rock on RC Saylors!! Keep up the great work.
first plane i got was the p51 from Eachine and flew it in insane winds on my first flight and its stabilization kept me flying, crashed it full speed into the ground a week later glued a bit of the foam back on the nose and its prefect again, I'm now waiting for their p-47 and bf109 to come in the mail I'm in love with rc planes now

I wish you had addressed the ability to fly the XK miniwarbirds with a multiproticol hobby grade transmitter like the Radiomaster TX16S, TX12, Zorro, Jumper T-Lite, T18, etc. We need to know which multiproticol setting is best and if it can duplicate all of the stock transmitter settings, plus expo control...?

I got the a210 for 25 bucks on Amazon what a deal that was. It been great. I’m going to get it on my full size radio so I can put some expo in the servo control when I’m not in gyro mode.

@@TheRcSaylors I don't need to fly it to know. I can clearly see how you are struggling to keep it in the air flying level. It’s good it’s bright yellow though because it will make it easy to find when it crashes. PS. Sorry about being so harsh but I am an Eachine Mini Warbirds/Volantex Sport Cub 500 Fanboy. I don’t buy XK, JJRC, HobbyZone or fimi or Hubsan for that matter. And when it comes to toy quadcopters I only fly the Nihui u807.
I'm split between the XK Trojan and the XK A290 F16. You can really easily lose the props on any of these in tall grass. One thing the F16 did that no other plane has ever done for me was belly flop jump off the ground and keep flying.... power off...straight DOWN 20 ft belly flop ...."bounced" of the beach...and at full throttle took off at the peak of the bounce! If XK made the 290 with rudder control it would be better than anything else out there. The Trojan can destroy its gears if sand gets inside the nose, the F16 does not have that issue at all. It's a lot easier to find and replace props for the F16 too...finding props and that special clip for the trojan is not easy.
COOL plane, BUT just because it's yellow doesn't make it better than the Eachine models. I have the Corsair because it will be MORE forgiving when I attempt to fly it...break away prop, etc.!! Thanks Saylors for introducing me to the YELLA FELLA!! 💟👍😘

Today will maiden the p-40 war hawk from i think XK , I have the corsair , p-51,-Trojan convert to Zero, just received the BF-109 and Spitfire here soon , The corsair was the fastest until the BF-109 , The BF-109 is the fastest now , three props i fathom, Also i have been using 500 mah they fit run time 20 minutes, pretty much full throttle . Love your channel :) Washington state .

Handled the wind very well for it's size. Definitely like the Yellow color. Now if you had flown it on a Sunny 🌞 day & flew Across the ☀️ I'm betting that would be it's Achilles heel & you would have had a Yellow out. Very nice plane. My wife is still mad at you. I saw the emachine on your channel, P51, and bought it, Now I asked for the Aerostar s2 for christmas. She blames you guys. LOL
I invested in many of Horizons UMX planes only to end up in the trash. I have not purchased an E-chine Planes. The price tends to make me not want to invest in them. It was nice flying behind my home in the empty field. Being wind is a huge factor where we live, the days I can fly a small plane that size are far and few between. As its only 10 minutes to my local 40 acre flying field, I have decided the investment in the smaller planes is not worth it for me. Not saying it will not work for others. I do wonder how long the electronics last compaired to Horizons short life span on the UMX.

The expert mode is arguably better on this one, because it has stabilization even in expert to help with wind gusts.
