For changing the weight with a heavy attachment, you don’t need to hold the attachment up, just hold the top plate down with your other hand while you’re changing the pin. Much easier.
Thanks for the review. Picked one up recently and loving it so far. Liking the idea of the gym pins, mostly for adding light weight for in between 10lbs needs. What sized pins did you order?
@@kirtmills6976 yeah no problem and I do love it and use it every single day I workout which is 4 days a week. This is the one you need The Original 2" GymPin - 10mm (25/64"

Quick tip to get more use out of that belt attachment. Set up a calf block and put the belt on your upper back to do weighted standing calf raises. That’s what I use mine for. I also have the D handle attachment from Gym Pin. Links both stacks, attach angles 90 grips to it. Then you you can do lat pulldowns or low rows with both stacks. If the attachment is too heavy, just hold down the top of the stack with your hand while you move the weight pin. No need to hold the actual attachment.
@@BadShadd1 awesome and thanks for that tip on the calf raises as I do have one of those plastic blocks you use for step ups. I have been trying to figure out how to do them easier on the machine. If it had a smith bar of course that would make it a non issue. And makes sense for the lat pulldown and didn’t even think about the d-handle bar. Totally forgot that existed and probably will pick one up during cyber sale
Thanks for the great review. The cons you mentioned seemed ok to me but good to know about them. How often do you do bilateral movements? I can only think of fly’s. I have a single cable tower and as much as I’d like a dual stack FT, I feel like I would only gain that one exercise
@@jtam222 personally not whole lot for bilateral movements and a single stack could definitely work vs a double stack. I would rather have it than not as I do lat pulldowns on it outside of my normal weighted pull-ups on my Rogue Jammer bar. There are others like delt work but that also can be done on single stack obviously but like to do that with 2 hands at same time. And yeah it is not crazy annoying to make me sell it but good for people to know.
The $999 sale started on November 1st and the following day on the 2nd it went out of stock and it’s still out of stock. The sale says it goes until the 30th. Wondering if we’ll see it back in stock before the 30th.
@@time.4174 usually that is area dependent on the availability on who delivers as Costco doesn’t deliver and it’s a 3rd party vendor which was fine for me. I cannot reliably say they will but it’s possible.

Is this type of machine used for those who want to look like a cyclist or runner? Not sure why someone wanting that type of build would spend this kind of money when all they would need is their own bodyweight.
@@GSekong If you want 2 weight stacks or 1 is really the answer here being honest. They function almost the same but you do get extra functionality and weight ranges with the Centr 2. Outside of budget of course which I understand is a consideration for people.
@ since these are 2:1 ratio machines centr1 and 2 act the same for 1 handed movements. For example on centr 1 you have it set to 80 lbs it is 40 lbs when doing any movement. It would be same on centr2 doing that exercise. With centr 2 you set both sides to 80 lbs and do a lat pulldown with the included bar it is 80 lbs since it is utilizing both stacks. It’s not completely necessary depending on your movements if that helps. If you are happy and don’t have any issues save your $$. I like the extra flexibility however would never say buy it as you might not need it.
