Can confirm, the fact that you can take the strongest attacks, block them with your face and still survive is insane. The shifter dango is really strong with it too. Getting health every time you are swapping scrolls (especially if you can slot recovery up) means you get health twice when you reset the health drain. If you're not the focus of the monster, you can also swap instead of dashing to bring your health back up between shots and keep your charge.
This is an underrated tech I don't see a lot of people doing when they get bonked online using bow. If you're charging, swap scrolls and use the evade, you maintain your charge. This needs shouted from the mountain tops~

Amazing work ! This is super clear and helps a lot. From personal experience, i would also suggest Dango Shifter, to almost nullify the need to heal and just swap twice to get back to full.
I augmented my full Chaos Magala armor; Bloodlust nil, replaced it with Mail of Hellfire 3. Rampage skill is Chameleos blessing for chance to get my HP back. Deco is Evade extender 3 with Charging sidestep (the idea is from your Sidestep video).Quite comfy. You're the inspiration. Thanks bro.
There's one more deco you can consider, and that is [Breath], its the one that uses Espinas Mantle to craft a deco that heals everytime you swap with a status effect. Elemental effect are pretty common, and some status like Bleed is straight up godsend with that deco. Definitely a overlook underrated deco
This. THIS. THIS! So much! It’s an incredible skill honestly. It heals blights you didn’t know you had! Especially when the top of the health bar can be very cluttered. On top of all that it also lessens the bloodlust timer by a bit when afflicted with frenzy. I’d like to note that Quick Breath runs on a 10 second cooldown so it’s not completely spammable like say the Shifter Dango.
I've been on a Sunbreak hiatus since the Flaming Espinas and Lucent Nargacuga update (due to PC problems) so this has been nice to see what I can dip my toes back in with bow builds. As a dual blade user who runs Berserk/Strife, this is the most fun and, ironically, most safest way you can play! 10 out of 10 video. I came to learn something about how other people manage Berserk and I did!
My build includes 1 berserk, 1 bloodlust, full strife and one dereliction. When the Frenzy virus is beaten if you're in berserk mode you get an instant heal.

Hello! Yes that’s pretty good, ideally you get a berserk charm but those are pretty hard to come by, especially with good slots and skills. In the meantime this is a pretty good charm! And thank you, I will come back eventually but most likely not until mh6 or another game I want to cover. I tried to come back for rise but unfortunately I don’t enjoy the game at all :(
What decorations are you using in your Element bows? For the Rampage slot if it's 3 I'm thinking about using Daora Soul, or Elembane, just not sure what I should use if it's only a 2-slot. What do you use for the non rampage slots as well? Really great videos, it's helped me improve my bow hunting quite a bit!

People seems to be sleeping on the Palicocs Healing Recovery Bats. That shits insane and have saved me multiple times due to how fast it regenerate health
Curious if you personally recommend rolling off bloodlust via qurio or not. Also I've always wondered what people do when the build important dango (recovery, bombadier, etc) just fails to activate?
if i dont have the big recovery dango just go into a random quest and restart it. if your on PC you can also just get the 100% mod for dangos and it takes out that annoyance of having to do that.
I don't think you need to stay a couple seconds in red for the drain to reset, I think it instantly right after you swap to red (it feels that way from my experience). I often just spam the scroll change button so that I change from blue -> red -> blue as quickly as possible and the drain resets everytime.
I just picked it back up and got the armor set. But need to grind for blood deco. And critical deco. I got the iron shell already. 3 of them. I get hit a lot though so I get a little nervous.

Dodgebolt, absolute power shot, aerial aim, stake thrust. Herculean draw on main scroll and bolt boost on secondary (cause bolt boost buff lasts for 1:45min, so you can buff at the start then switch to your main scroll). Thank you!
One thing that I’ve been doing when I get hit. I instant swap to red then back to blue, that way I can heal “safely” and not get one shot by an attack while in red scroll.

Berserk bow is truly amazing and I tried it thanks to your previous guide. 1 question: when you say "switch to the other scroll for a few seconds" - how many seconds does it take to revert the drain? Usually, I instantly switch back to berserk and then heal, because I don't want to risk being hit outside of it (happens to me sometimes and always insta kills me). But sometimes the drain is really aggressive and maybe I'm switching too fast. Currently, I am using berserk strife on dual blades so i try to be closer to the monster and it feels a bit harder to maintain vs bow, plus I lost one of the healing decos that heals on scroll swap which I use on the bow.
What talismans would you recommend going for with berserk+strife? Currently I got a charge master 2 evade extender 2 with 2 single slots left that I threw stun res on
So i got mail of hellfire on my chaotic gore magala waist. It only lowered the defense by 8. Is it worth using or should i try to get a different skill. I'm asking cause idk if using it while being in blue scroll is worth using it over a different skill

Simply because i don't know if I have good augments, and this would help me a lot (but maybe not only me) to understand which augment I could remove and which not. For example, I would like an augment that gives me mail of hellfire haha but I don't know which augment I could replace...

Mail of hellfire isn’t super good with berserk. Element% is not as efficient as damage%, it’s better to prioritize things like charge master and crit element
I finished crafting the set, but II'm missing the KB decos to finish off. The build is fun but really scary with the having to swap between and getting hit. Def need to work on my timing and dodgebolting. Question though: What would you say is the best dango combo to use? Like lv 4, 3 then 1? I see people mention dango shifter a lot. I'm assuming we don't need Dango Fighter due to Unlim stam
4 definitely super recov. Then marksman. In 1 either booster or any utility dango you want, shifter is not a bad option. KB is essential to the build, I think you’ll see a big difference when you unlock it!

Mr Tidus, huge fan of your video here. I would like to ask your opinion on adrenaline rush 3 vs charge master 3. Which would be better if I can only get one to level 3 with my build. My build is currently sitting with both at level 2 with one more extra level 2 decoration.
I tend to prefer charge master because it’s more consistant and tends to scale better, but both are pretty similar and which is better will depend on the fight. If you don’t want to worry about I’d just go charge master
Is this viable without kushala blessing? made the armor at like MR 10 or something and then realized you only unlock risen kushala and the decoration for it at like 120?
It’s not great at all no. It gives element% which is not the best. At level 3 it gives 20% elemtn which sounds like a lot, but other Ele skills like charge master and crit Ele directly increase you damage which is much more impactful. It’s not bad, but not a priority

Hey! Unfortunately there isn’t any secret, you have to do enough damage to get rid of it. If you really can’t consistently cure it, you can try to remove bloodlust with qurio augments

I do! I made a keybind video back in base rise, you should be able to find it in my MH rise playlist. Nothing has changed except the addition of swap scroll, that i put on my radial menu
So for qurio skills are these prioritising from top-down meaning that u want lv3 cm, bladescalelv3, adrenaline rushlv3 and so on? If that so that's not effective at all i believe lv1 bladescale is enough. can you emphasize more on which qurio skill to prioritize first and what level. I currently using lv1 bladescale, lv1 powder mantle, lv1 burst, lv2 CM (charge Master) lv2 Critelement. Wondering is there like dmg calculator to minmax which skill to prioritize and at what lvl
That’s pretty good. Indeed burst and bladescale should stay at level 1. Bladescale only increase proc rate but level 1 is already 50% and lasts for 30s and does refresh so there’s no need for more. Burst gives you almost the entire benefit at lv1. Charge master and Crit Ele give the same benefit. 5/10/15% more elemental damage at lv1/2/3. Only difference is crit Ele only works on crit, but berserk is at 100% crit normally. Your setup is pretty good, if you get more space try to fit in more charge master and crit ele

Slot wise i can't fit anymore skill, qurio augment wise only realistically to swap skill like for example forgoing bladescale for lv3 CM and any other quiro augment into lv3 critele.
@@abdullohbudhisalmanhasri3943 Adrenaline rush gives raw so it can be better on raw matchups. Fights like scorned magna take very little elemental damage, so charge master/crit ele won't do much. But there you have to make a build for each monster. Overall, charge master will be more beneficial in more situations

Since Bloodlust, when the Frenzy is active, pushes the health drain faster; What is the plan for dealing with it? I'm assuming it's just a DPS race while in Blue Scroll and healing the health it drained later when the monster is down or it's otherwise safe (I've often found myself forgetting about Bloodlust and look at my health to see it at 60% due to the extra drain it caused when the buff wears off and you need to overcome Frenzy again lol) Bloodlust by itself is fine, I run it in a lot of my builds for other weapons, and Berserk by itself is fine, but man, the two of them together can be a bit overwhelming at times I guess I might have to stop being greedy and bring Healing cats instead of Gathering ones ha ha
If it’s at level 2 it should be a bit faster to overcome frenzy but yes it can be a dangerous time when it’s active. You want to get rid of it as soon as possible but that’s about as much as I can help with ahah. Healing cata definitely help
@@LyonOlivier69 so in that regard is worth running only 1 level of bloodlust instead of 2, like taking 1 from the qurios and adding another skill ? being doing anomalies a lot with this build ( lv200+ ) and i feel the same way, sometimes is hard to deal with the drain lost, probably skill issue as well, since if we do enough damage it will be easier to clear it. i think i'll implement healing cats and followers in my gameplay, since i don't really use them.
@@Maxi-Nya followers and healing cats make a huge diff. I personally run BL2 because the drain is faster to overcome and I don’t really feel like you gain that much from dropping to 1 in general gameplay
Berserk is awesome because you can disregard all resistances and just go full attack power mode and its amazing with Long Sword,but I have 1 question...and this has always been my problem with it lately for the past couple months...but how do you swap scrolls WITHOUT sheathing your Bow?Anytime I tried to do it,I'll accidentally trigger Dragon Pierce '-_-
I know I'm very late but with ranged weapons u have to press R1/RB instead of L2/R2 (for melee weapons) to swap scrolls. So R1 + both attack buttons instead of L2 + both attack buttons

Just be on the lookout for. Although bladescale and burst you only need 1 point

I have a question after seeing all your videos which monster hunter game do you recommend for a new player who mostly plays fps games.
World without a doubt. It’s not better for fps player specifically I just think it’s a much better game overall

How to u activate kushala blessing? I notice even with all the regen u recommended in the video I’m having issue to activate the regen an end up dying when i get hit an try to recover.

Sounds good I will in the future. You can replace resentment, coalescence (keep 1 point at least), bloodlust (same keep 1 point)

Nope, unless your red hp goes under hero is threshold, in which case you don’t benefit from strife anymore

@@robigitarisgaming exactly, and it procs heroics faster as well as strife because most his health bar is red. Dereliction guarantees he stays at 1hp

Recovery speed doesn’t do anything with KB while on blue scroll of berserk. Recovery up does

Mail of hellfire isn’t super good with berserk. Element% is not as efficient as damage%, it’s better to prioritize things like charge master and crit element

How do you get the super recovery dango?
I finished crafting the set, but II'm missing the KB decos to finish off. The build is fun but really scary with the having to swap between and getting hit. Def need to work on my timing and dodgebolting. Question though: What would you say is the best dango combo to use? Like lv 4, 3 then 1? I see people mention dango shifter a lot. I'm assuming we don't need Dango Fighter due to Unlim stam
4 definitely super recov. Then marksman. In 1 either booster or any utility dango you want, shifter is not a bad option.
KB is essential to the build, I think you’ll see a big difference when you unlock it!

Bl1 is fine. BL2 overcome frenzy faster so I prefer having 2 but it’s not a big deal

No, dashing will maintain your charge level. When you’re at max charge just dash to maintain it

Hi Tidus, can this build go well with Bubbly Dance Skill? Cause I think with Bubbly Dance you can activate Coalescence faster to heal when using Blue scroll
Coalescence does not heal, you’re confusing with bloodlust. Bubbly dance not great at all with this, there are a lot of better skills now
Mr Tidus, huge fan of your video here. I would like to ask your opinion on adrenaline rush 3 vs charge master 3. Which would be better if I can only get one to level 3 with my build. My build is currently sitting with both at level 2 with one more extra level 2 decoration.
I tend to prefer charge master because it’s more consistant and tends to scale better, but both are pretty similar and which is better will depend on the fight. If you don’t want to worry about I’d just go charge master

Not really, kushala is the only thing that allows health regen. You can ask someone to host the quest for you though, even if you’re low MR

It’s not great at all no. It gives element% which is not the best. At level 3 it gives 20% elemtn which sounds like a lot, but other Ele skills like charge master and crit Ele directly increase you damage which is much more impactful. It’s not bad, but not a priority

Hey! Unfortunately there isn’t any secret, you have to do enough damage to get rid of it. If you really can’t consistently cure it, you can try to remove bloodlust with qurio augments
i am not so far in the game that i can craft these Qurio skills but can i use this build even if i am not able to craft these?
The only mandatory thing is kushala blessing decorations. Those are unfortunately locked at MR140

I do! I made a keybind video back in base rise, you should be able to find it in my MH rise playlist. Nothing has changed except the addition of swap scroll, that i put on my radial menu
So for qurio skills are these prioritising from top-down meaning that u want lv3 cm, bladescalelv3, adrenaline rushlv3 and so on? If that so that's not effective at all i believe lv1 bladescale is enough.
can you emphasize more on which qurio skill to prioritize first and what level.
I currently using lv1 bladescale, lv1 powder mantle, lv1 burst, lv2 CM (charge Master) lv2 Critelement.

That’s pretty good. Indeed burst and bladescale should stay at level 1. Bladescale only increase proc rate but level 1 is already 50% and lasts for 30s and does refresh so there’s no need for more. Burst gives you almost the entire benefit at lv1. Charge master and Crit Ele give the same benefit. 5/10/15% more elemental damage at lv1/2/3. Only difference is crit Ele only works on crit, but berserk is at 100% crit normally. Your setup is pretty good, if you get more space try to fit in more charge master and crit ele

@@abdullohbudhisalmanhasri3943 Adrenaline rush gives raw so it can be better on raw matchups. Fights like scorned magna take very little elemental damage, so charge master/crit ele won't do much. But there you have to make a build for each monster. Overall, charge master will be more beneficial in more situations

Dodgebolt, absolute power shot, stake thrust, aerial aim. Herculean on main scroll, bolt boost on secondary scroll

Since Bloodlust, when the Frenzy is active, pushes the health drain faster; What is the plan for dealing with it?
I'm assuming it's just a DPS race while in Blue Scroll and healing the health it drained later when the monster is down or it's otherwise safe
(I've often found myself forgetting about Bloodlust and look at my health to see it at 60% due to the extra drain it caused when the buff wears off and you need to overcome Frenzy again lol)
Bloodlust by itself is fine, I run it in a lot of my builds for other weapons, and Berserk by itself is fine, but man, the two of them together can be a bit overwhelming at times
I guess I might have to stop being greedy and bring Healing cats instead of Gathering ones ha ha
If it’s at level 2 it should be a bit faster to overcome frenzy but yes it can be a dangerous time when it’s active. You want to get rid of it as soon as possible but that’s about as much as I can help with ahah. Healing cata definitely help

being doing anomalies a lot with this build ( lv200+ ) and i feel the same way, sometimes is hard to deal with the drain lost, probably skill issue as well, since if we do enough damage it will be easier to clear it.
i think i'll implement healing cats and followers in my gameplay, since i don't really use them.
@@Maxi-Nya followers and healing cats make a huge diff. I personally run BL2 because the drain is faster to overcome and I don’t really feel like you gain that much from dropping to 1 in general gameplay

Berserk is awesome because you can disregard all resistances and just go full attack power mode and its amazing with Long Sword,but I have 1 question...and this has always been my problem with it lately for the past couple months...but how do you swap scrolls WITHOUT sheathing your Bow?Anytime I tried to do it,I'll accidentally trigger Dragon Pierce '-_-
Put the swap scroll on your radial. If you use the shortcut most of the time you will do something you don't want. Radial fixes that

I know I'm very late but with ranged weapons u have to press R1/RB instead of L2/R2 (for melee weapons) to swap scrolls. So R1 + both attack buttons instead of L2 + both attack buttons
