Thank you so much for this. I started mhrise late and even though I pieced a lot of this together myself, it's nice to see someone I know is seasoned (and just straight up a better player than me) go through some numbers and affirm some of my choices. Not a lot of people go real in depth, and a lot of those video that do are outdated.
Heaven's Breath has been my go to ice bow since TU3 after I got used to Strife/Berserk set. After extensive testing on both Diablo's Wing, Rajang's Head, and Zinogre's Head, element has offically become the priority over Raw for bow choices for me.
I've been messing around with the insurgent bow and have been surprised at how useful it actually is. Sustained power shots won't be as great as some other rapid bows but your damage comes out faster with your standard r2 shots thanks to it's great stats outside of a level 4 charge. Great comfort bow actually.
I have an interesting Pierce Bow build planned out and wanted to see some thoughts on it It uses Primordial Malzeno Bow (Mighty Bow, Blood Rite 2 and Pierce Up 2 decos and Daora Soul rampage deco) Valstrax Helm (Constitution 2 and Intrepid Heart decos) Valstrax Mail (Defense Boost 5 and 1 decos) Risen Valstrax Braces (Stamina Surge 2, Intrepid Heart and a spare 1 slot) Valstrax Coil (Stamina Surge and Defense Boost) Primordial Malzeno Greaves (Dragonheart and Constitution 2 decos) And for a Talisman i'd mainly be looking for Ballistics, Coalescence and/or Critical Eye
Nice info..tq vycery I always loved your bow run..u have yr own style...hope u will not stop uploading like most of great mhw bow runner Keep the video coming👍👍👍
Gold rath is also a solid option at least for lazy people like me. While it is not the best bc of low element and a lack of power coating it has good slots and high raw.
lol, the first bow image from 0:05 is the one i use the most, and the same but orange feathers is the second (the nitro bow) and the last one i crafted it and i was disappointed because of the spread shot :C
Thanks for this helpful video, Vycery! May I ask a question that what's the "critical range" mean? I didn't know much about that All I know is if I can trigger the critical damage by some skills.
Critical Range, or Critical Distance, is when the circle to aim turns orange. If you hit while the circle is orange, you deal the most damage. Too close or too far will reduce your damage and way too far will result in being out of range. When you watch the training area footage, you can see that I'm always in Critical Range. That is what you want to do. Rapid is the easiest to learn since the range is higher and more comfortable. Spread needs to be played very close and Pierce pretty far away. I made a video a while back about builds in base rise and I touch on it a bit more. Here is the link with timestamp: th-cam.com/video/CRXB9wymMpY/w-d-xo.html
Vycery explains everything you need to know very comprehensively in his video. But here are somethings that may also be helpful. If you use close range coating u just have to stay close and you are in critical range. Since it removes (being to close) you can basically hug a monsters head like gaismagorm with a pierce bow and you are stil in critical range. (But this makes you more likely to get hit) Also the bold boost switch skill in sunbreak gives you something called super critical range which boost your dmg if you manage to stay the right distance away. Its a pretty good skill but dont to stay in super critical range since its to narrow.
I think for water bow the daimyou bow is more superior. But almudrom bow is very useful against valstrax since its high element making it fairly easy to break its forelegs since aiming for wingarm is kinda frustating
Man i cant help but feel that rapid is not the design teams favohrite type, mediocre options across the board and lots of compromise across fhe board. Why capcom 😢
Elembane boosts elemental damage which is way better than the Raw damage boosting Anti Species Jewels. On elemental focused builds, Elembane is really strong but keep in mind, it only activates on an Elemental Hitzone of 25 or higher.
Love that you used music for whatever monster's bow you ended up choosing lol (also funny how you used Khezu's theme when talking about their bow lol)

This was a great guide. I have most of the rapid/spread bows you mentioned. Now i just need to play better and do 200 dmg per arrow! 😊
Thank you, Vyc, for making this guide.
This is the best bow guide. Period.

They should bring back Heavy Shot...
I missed this guide so much, tyvm

Great video bro💙
Damn, thank you very much! Just starting to get into bow and this guide was very useful!
Thanks for this valuable information. Can I make a request? making the bgm lower in volume so it is easier to listen to what you are saying?
Rlly good video and rlly nice explained

you should use the bow that shoots great swords, it's great
Pierce bows are the best type of bow in the game depending on how big the monster

@@Vycery ok I got it, thank you so much for the details!!
Sorry that I didn't know how to call the skill in English so I ask a stupid question lol

Are you also going to make equips? It's been a month since BU and I still haven't found any updated guides about :/

How do i get timeworn crimson horn ? i need it for daimyou
@@PoiiYoii break the monoblos skull horn in daimyou back shell
Thanks
Thank you!!!
How about armor sets and essential skills for these weapons?
Would be good to have a chart to know which monster’s to use which bow for
Bow Match-up:

where can i find builds for bow?
WHATS IS YOUR DASH WHEN U HIT WITH THE ARROW PLEASE
Can you do one for each weapon?

Is Elembane better than anti species?

Which is the best bow for each firing type?
What set is that ❤
Pierce is super niche though. The true question is overall from all 3 shot types which are the best lol
you have a weird understanding of the words super and niche...
It depends on the Monster
Thanks
