    I’m so happy that she found something that brings her joy, because it seemed like she went through a stage of depression for awhile. I’m glad that she found something that’s right for her. It’s tough being an athlete these days. Why? Because People will praise and love you when you’re up, but will bash and try to degrade you when you’re down.

    People always have to put someone down to feel good. This girl would beat most men in this comment section calling her weak up. Easily. She's an Olympic champion and defended her belt multiple times.

      Matthew Thompson She looks more happy then ashamed. I think you want her to be ashamed. Wrestling is something she wanted to do long before UFC. I don’t agree with what she did when she lost, but to bash her because she wants to pursue a career she wanted to do when she was little.

    Her consecutive two losses really took away from the fact that she had one of the most impressive records in UFC history, successfully defending her title against some of the very elite. People who say she can’t fight because she went over to WWE are either ignorant or trolling. She can do whatever the hell she wants. I’m sure all her wins were all scripted or a fluke, right?

    On behalf of the WWE nation, welcome to the WWE Ronda!

  • @LexTan
    @LexTan 6 ปีที่แล้ว +36

    So glad that Ronda is so happy to be a part of WWE, and be part of the crazy world of sports-entertainment. There will always be haters on professional wrestling; who will call it "fake." I hope Ronda silences some of those critics by showing them that it doesn't matter if they think it's fake. This "fake" world, which is a marriage of sports and live theater, has more real and authentic people behind the scenes, on stage, in the ring, and in the stands than most competitive sport does. And what is admirable about WWE is that they have such a history of creating good camaraderie amongst their performers, because their ultimate goal is to make an entertaining and enjoyable experience for the audience.
    In WWE, kicking ass is only one element of their event. In MMA, kicking your opponent's ass is the one main element of their event. Sports-Entertainment vs Sports-Competition.

    • @ricemenarq6230
      @ricemenarq6230 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As a wrestling fan "kicking ass" is not the first element of their game but making Vince McMahon happy. Doesn't matter if an entire arena is booing your champion as long as Vinniemac gets to jack off to his big sweaty men every week.

    • @suleimanthemagnificent44

      +Ashlyn Teague No offense but i'm pretty sure that most people who comment on her in a negative matter are very aware that they don't have many chances on beating her, considering that she is a professional trained fighter.
      That doesn't mean people aren't allowed to criticize professional fighters just because they can't beat them in a fight, that's a silly argument against them.
      In this case, Ronda alongside her successful MMA career, is also now very known for her sour attitude on her losses given the contrast of how cocky she was on her winning streak, thus many people aren't fans of her because of that.
      Connor is another example of having a really cocky attitude, but he took his losses well, and even when he challenge an undefeated boxer (and lost), he still is a relatively well liked figure. If Ronda took her losses on her chin (metaphorically speaking), then even if she joined the WWE like she did now, i bet she wouldn't have gotten as many hate comments as she does now.

      lies..... she ran like a bitch when real competition came. real champs get belts back she showed poor mental strength after she was hurt. a dominant force is subjective she fell in the trap of being the peoples champion and failed miserably to live up to expectations. Proved herself in UFC for years as a top draw and money maker for the company, regardless of what people think of her or her opponents. Now because of well she really kicked as for years, she is awarded the chance to compete in professional wrestling, keep her bad ass persona, and make money doing something she has always loved. Sounds like a come up to me.

      Anesu 32 I am personally familiar with mental health issues. I am still a fan, but disappointed in how she handles losing. Also, she approached opponents in a similar fashion outside of the ring. She supposedly told off a fellow fighter, Paige, when Paige congratulated Holm on the win. That's not only unprofessional, but that advertises to people young and old that being a sore loser is tolerable.
      I still appreciate her accomplishments and work ethic, but that hard for me to watch. Knowing how to lose is just as important as knowing how to enjoy a win.
      I am happy she reemerged from her slump and found herself again.

    • @Xaimi
      @Xaimi 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Anesu 32 Also, it is somewhat presumptuous to say that no one knows what it is like to mentally prepare to get into a ring, yet they ridicule her. I know what it is like to prepare for a fight and competition. I am sure others in the comments do too. As a traditionally taught judoka, her instructor would have taught humbleness and adaptation. That is what a good, traditional, martial arts instructor does.

      Guys let's be honest..Ronda has the talent to beat any woman in UFC,after her first loss were she underestimated Holly,it has become a struggle mentally to get back in the octagon, but deep down I reckon Ronda would submit Nunes if u could simulate them both fighting without nerves..her problem is she can't handle it since she lost and fell from stardom.
      But it has humbled her.. She's a beautiful young woman,she shouldn't be getting kicked in face anyway, let her do her thing and be happy.

Amanda also got the shit beat of her by a chick Ronda beat in 16 seconds and is going to be getting knocked the fuck out in March by Cyborg. Neither one of them will be successful since beating her. Bitches

    • @J_Tevo
      @J_Tevo 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Antonio Allison
      Those women however got back up and gave a good example to all their young fans of ‘don’t give up’. Whilst Ronda was built of being this strong power women. Yet as soon as a set back occurred she ran away, never talked about the loss, ignored the sport. Then continued to come back, not talk to the media and walk off in every situation. With this still not addressing the situation. Then gets KO’d in one of the most dominant fashions ever in a title fight. Then once again, ignores it all.
      What an inspiring person!!
      When the going got tough, she hid. She talked shit about all other fighters by saying they’re nothing and can’t hack it, and not in a promotional way (say like a Daniel Cormier) but in a mean spirited manor.
      Plus Nunes has fought tougher competition in her way to the title. Plus is attempting something Ronda never wanted, fighting Cyborg.
      She betrayed everything she attempted to build, because it was all a lie.
      You can enjoy her wrestling and that’s fine. But saying she was someone to admire, is blatantly wrong. She was a flat track bully.

    • @antonioallison9413
      @antonioallison9413 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      J Tevo Your not going to get me to hate her sorry. I've been a fan of Ronda since she raped Charmaine Tweet in Strikeforce. You see her now in this interview? Does that sound like the same cocky villain from the UFC? No. You're seeing her real personality. UFC is a combat sport, it's fighting, it's not known for fun, happy and bubbly like you sportless playing clowns think it is. She noticed McGregor because no one went crazy with trash talking until Mac came in. Conor most likely learned from Muhammad Ali. Conor trash talked saying he's whipping the whole division and the 10 year champion out. Now there's going to be a shit ton of fans that will support him especially his country so their tickets are sold but there's also a fuck ton of haters (like you) that's going to pay just to see him lose so you can rub it in to his supporters you basically seeing a "bully" in your mind lose.
      The heel is risky route but you will build a higher stock just have to back your words up. Ronda did it for 7-8 title defenses as a heel. She gets KOd by Holly, still makes over a million for the fight to crowned champion Holly Holms maybe 50k - 100k. She's hiatus for a year comes back and loses even quicker than the Holm fight yet still makes 3 mil to Amanda's what 50k - 70k. It's not personal, it's business she earned those checks through wins and loses because of how she promoted, the smart way. Look at Conor he lost but got it back (make note against a fighter way bigger than him two weight classes up) and dethroning a champ in a heavier class. His accomplishments got his stock high enough to get Floyds attention. Landed him a deal with one of the greatest boxers ever. 100 mil in the bank the UFC really can't even afford him anymore. RR decided to play the bad girl role because after every W it built her stock higher than even the most humblest fighter. Ronda and McGregor were making more than Jon Jones and Jones been through 20+ fights without a lost. (Don't say Matt Hamil he got his ass whooped too) Rondas seems very kind hearted, happy, goofy like personality. she's excited for a new career (even though it's fake it's something she said she always wanted to do and has been training for it) That fight was 40 years ago and you and the rest of your screwhead crew STILL talking about it. Hollys been put to sleep, lost 4 out 6 fights since, never gotten a step towards RRs record for defenses. Holly Holm ain't did shit since she dethroned Ronda. Both of the women that beat Ronda lost in "dominant fashion" to chicks that Ronda scrapped easily. Amanda got raped by Cat. Amanda's getting her ass knocked out in March against Cyborg. Don't matter what you say Rondas a legend for the women and if it wasn't for her you wouldn't see ANY of the women in the UFC. It made her more successful and opened more doors. She doesn't give a shit what you or your other corny hating clowns think of her.
