Removed pink textured bolt in VC
Retextured cockpit rails
Repositioned headphones on pilots
Revised Flight Model for more realistic handling
Revised engine coding for more realistic performance
Engine Primer animation fixed
Corrected wheel blurs (missing left wheel on takeoff)
Replaced missing gunports on Tropical Version
Fixed closed canopy issue on Modern and Sea Hurricane versions.
Fixed guntapes disappearing on various versions

I do like the Hurricane more than the Spitfire.
Im glad they updated it, they also updated the P-51D so it seems they have really fixed their mods because they did an overhaul of the P-51 so im happy they fixed the Hurricane because its the one aircraft i know a lot of people have wanted. Also loved the review ❤ easily turning into one of my fav flight sim channels.
Enjoyed the review and you’re right, there’s some beautiful scenery in N Wales. Should have the movie “Battle of Britain” soundtrack playing in the background (I could hear it in my head 😁)
AvAngel: I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for posting. As nice as that Hurrican is - I'm extremely glad that I've got P3D v5 and my A2A P-40B Warhawk, Army 155. No other airplane like it. It's like my 1950 H-D Panhead chopper, only in in the sim. Go shoot down some Heinkels! NICE landing. That burble? I remember hearing that when I was pumping gas at Half Moon Bay Airport (KHAF) and a guy showed up in a P-51H.
I've always been a bit hard on Aeroplane Heaven releases, but this really might be their best effort yet! I also like how responsive they are with updates and videos these days. I happily purchased this aircraft (and the P-47) yesterday, and I don't regret it at all (although the engine sound loop in the P-47 cockpit is a bit grating). Hopefully this new and improved Aeroplane Heaven keeps going on this trajectory. They even did an update for their old P-51! I like it!

I do the same thing when a classic warbird comes out I want it to be good and I need everyone of them 😂 they should be respected for those who flew them in a time anger. Great video as always cheers

Glad to see such a prompt and active update for an airplane that truly deserves it. I would imagine when developing something like this yo get to with 85% of "perfect" and just become blind to some the lesser gripes or can spend for ever chasing perfection. It's only when you release it these flaws get brought into focus. The trick is recognize genuine criticism (like what you give so well) and not be effected by the haters.
I never desire to be a hater, but I try to be honest. I'm the first to admit and re-review something when a Dev changes my recommendation on an aircraft... in this case, no go, to the big show.

I always pretend and use my imagination while playing this game. I use the H-Jet as a medical transport.
The audio on the spitfire was not good. The aircraft was too quiet and you could clearly hear idle sounds all the time. No Merlin raw at all.
I really dont want to waste any more money on Aeroplane Heaven because of their sounds/sound coding.
Was that standard scenery or did you have any Add one ?

To prime you have to click on the top of the primer unit to unlock and then to actually prime you click on the body of the primer....I discovered this by accident.

I hope the folks at AH have settled down after their little RANT. That RANT left a bad taste in my mouth. Again, I love their DC-3, but after you were asked to no longer review their products, I hesitate. I hope they apologized. You deserved better.
They have not nor do I expect one. I am independent and most aircraft come out of my own pocket like you guys. I’m no expert but I try to be fair and polite. Just like now after that I’ll happily recommend it now.

Still don't think the internal engine sounds are thunderous enough (ex BBMF, Merlins are bloody monsters!) and the wierd whine that is accompanying the more gruff rumble isnt what i remember at at all...still better i guess but reminds me if FSX sounds...🤔
Its a LITTLE low (my vol is lowered some for talking ability) but its certainly deeper now.
Understood but that buzzy whine isn't right still, it isn't present irl. I know sim limitations have to be considered but it's still not quite right. Not that I can complain, been without a PC for a few years now with no chance of affording another...😶
definitely appreciate the updates but there certainly is still room for a lot more improvements. Its just a shame AH simply do not react well to most feedback, constructive or otherwise and get aggressive and defensive.
why they still does so ugly prop animation from inside? from sun side it's so noticeable and looks eyebleeding
your update might be better.. it doesn't have the gps toggle enabled at all.. no click spot.... its a shambles. just turn the fuel to off and then on again whilst running
and listen.. its embarrassing.Also press the refuel button whilst in the air...lmao. 1st and most definitely the last Aeroplane Heaven purchase i'll make.
You may need to move your eye down, it works for me, but the spot is initially not easy to reach
@@AvAngel nope its simply not there ive been on it 10 mins in 2d and moved the camera all around/level/below.. its not there.. the gear indicator spot is there thats it. your version must be different, thats all i can think... i did find the primer spot, but had to slew right down low in 2d and its impossible in vr. were you sent the update or did you get it from the consumer downloads section? maybe someone from AH would care to comment ?
This is only in the modern restored model, in other versions its not present. All my updates are from simmarket, i purchased my copy.
Read the manual before complaining. I quote from Page 12: "PLEASE NOTE: THE MODERN RADIO IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE “RESTORED” HURRICANE, UP-W"
Won the Battle of Britain for England, really! I was enjoying this review right up until you said that.
A little semantic... The aircraft was the backbone of the RAF during the BOB... actually more prevelant than the Spitfire. Common misconception. These fought off more of the bombers and were available in higher numbers.

Just to be clear : It was pilots who won the Battle of Britain. Pilots flying a variety of aircraft.
The Hurricane obstensibly was... yes.
Semantics yes, but of coruse without pilots the aircraft are pointless :D But without aircraft, the pilots are pointless too :D
