First time I've ever heard exactly where the wear indicator goes! I usually just pick a spot lol. About to replace my front brakes for the 3rd time over many years, a refresher is always nice. Thanks! 🐧
If you notice, there are 2 small, threaded holes, in the rotor, between the wheel studs. Those are for threading a small bolt into, which helps force the rotor off the wheel hub. A light tap with hammer, may be needed, but not much, when using those two little bolts. Especially helpful in saving rotors, if they are going to be reused,,,( maybe have to only replace the bad hub bearing...etc)
Very Good Job. I like the detail work you do. Wish people here in my town did as good of a job as you. You make changing the front rotors and brakes easy because you are GOOD
With this video, I changed the front left one today... Took me the Whole day 😂. One tip: When i squeezed the caliper, fluid leaked from the reservoir and dripped on the. floor. Will place extra newspapers for that when I do the right one. I removed some from the reservoir to prevent overflow. Looks like I need to bleed the brakes soon since the fluid is darker colored. Do you have a video for bleeding? Thank you so much. I appreciate your contribution. Aloha! 🌴🌈
