I just bought new 3d base game here in Alberta Canada at Costco for $90 CAD or $70 USD. Went home got Seafarers and cities knights 3D for $250 CAD ($200 USD) online Including shipping. So around $270 USD total for both is pretty solid. I heard they are coming out with 5 to 6 player expansion for 3D Catan in 2024.
That would be cool if true, although they should just make it standard by now instead of an expansion
my lgs bought one of the sets in the trunk when they came out for the store since a lot of us played. the set in the trunk was ceramic but it was so cool when they got it in. It's cool to see that they came out with it again.

They also now have a combined 3D Seafarers + Cities & Knights expansion running $400.
I saw that not too long ago! I haven't played that expansion yet, but might pick it up in the future.
I once trusted something called Catan and I wound up having my soul sucked out and my body replaced with living metal.
So how r u supposed to create a random game board with hexes like that
There are dedicated apps that will randomize the resources and number tiles for you to help you set up your board. The one I mentioned in the video is called Catanerator and works very well!

If anyone wants to shell out a lot of money for a purely visual upgrade - sure, fine. But no-one "needs" this. At all.
So don’t buy it. Period. End of story.
Totally overpriced and the quality is so-so.
Isn’t that everything that fanboys and fangirls are willing to spend their money on?
