We bought the game yesterday from Target after watching your review and the family is loving it! It was such a great purchase and a great way to get the family together. I love video games and so does my son but this brought as down to the kitchen table where my 72 year old mother played her first board game since I was a child!
The original Catan has never disappointed us and this new Catan is a great addition with some great changes and adds a bit more strategy. If you're looking for the way to get the family together again this may be what you're looking for.
I highly recommend it.

Adding freshness to a classic is always a good thing. Reminds me a little like what they are doing with Great Western Trail and what they did with Brass. Not venture too far off the winning formula but instead tweak it to give you more to love 😊 Love the comment thank you
I´ve been playing Catan for twenty years. It´s astonishing game which opened me the world of board games. Now, I´m bringing up new generation of board gamers and my daughter also loves original Catan. We decided yesterday to buy another game from this game world and your review helped us to decide. This is such a wonderful comment. Gaming is such an incredible hobby, without games like Catan and Ticket To Ride I wouldn't be here now still excited about all the games I play. I do hope you enjoy this newer version, it will feel similar but will feel bigger with lots more going on. Just another variation in a wonderful series of games

Honestly a great choice for a xmas present 🎁. Also currently working on a review for Flamecraft which would also be perfect as a future present. Please let me know your thoughts when you play it, would love to hear others opinions on this version of Catan

Sorry mate if I did miss anything on this vid. I did another video which I never ended up posting which covered off on more detail about the setup. In the end just decided it wasn't that good to post so scrapped it.

To me , it's not a review but it sounds more like advertising. Had to go to other places to get more pros and cons about the game in order to determine if this is for me. Just a feedback.
Hey mate, that is very fair and valid feedback. I must admit this was one of my earliest reviews. I would say my style has changed somewhat over the time but i still lean towards positive reviews as that is my preferred style. Definitely appreciate your time in commenting 👍
We didn't care for the game. It's the same as regular Catan but you basically have more hoops to jump through. Felt drawn out and too long. Components were really nice though. Why can't they make nice components for the regular game? (which is still the best version, IMO.)
Part of me completely understands, the original is refined and absolutely a classic. This version turns it more into a thinkier gamers version. It suits my style of game taste more and I get this to the table more due to this fact. I think also I had done the original to death so wanted a newer challenge
