Nice vid! Yeah Creek tech is no joke! Even some of the Blue tech feels like Black tech. Funny I was thinking of putting together a similar video with my footage from there from the past 2 years. It's so hard to capture the steepness of the gnarliness there with GoPro 🤙
Totally agree man, for riding blind I think we held our weight pretty well but next time I go back I can't wait to see how much better I can ride it. Always appreciate you homie🤙🏽
Most all of North Jersey is full of chunk Rocky Tech. Very underrated IMO probably some of the hardest Trails on the East Coast. Ringwood Ramapo, jungle habitat, sourlands... not only is it technical but a lot of climbing. MC is one of the better DH parks not quite as Aces as Thunder, but I give it top five status.
While these tech trails are very difficult to navigate requiring good balance and vision I think one major component that is overlooked is fitness. Even on a full suspension bike, the vibrations & oscillations that will create friction between muscle tissue and the drawing on the bones and joints requires good Fitness. Proper hydration and nutrition are crucial, prior to starting and in between runs. Couple the physicality of riding technical trails with the mental focus needed and it is extremely demanding on the body and mind.
Those Mountain Creek tech trails are Legit!! Great job fellas!

Damn you did really good. GoPro doesn't come close to doing it justice. It's scary cause you have to commit and you have to keep speed.

I like riding tech but everytime u go down def not easy on bike lol rock scratch everything the only tech u need a dh bike truly too have most fun
@@stevenkilleen8149 agreed DH bike is king on that stuff, but for that older bike I had, I fully 3m clear vinyl wrapped it, no scratches🤘🏽

Socially while you're on a 150/145mm bike😂 you can't just plow.
