Anime onlys are going to be kicking themselves for not keeping up with this season because after the endeavor training arc this series is going from zero to one hundred and not stopping.
SPOILERS: I re-read these arcs twice over, recently, starting from the raid on the liberation front. My god, the PACING after the endeavor training arc is just bat shit insane (in the best way, obviously) I absolutely LOVE the darker/seinen-ish tone in the last few chapters.
Yep, the series is gonna be amazing from here. Season 6 is gonna be incredible, doing the math it’ll have the current chapters in it in the manga and even more.
@@Muddy120 I feel like season 6 will end with either the end of the war arc which I think is chapter 299 or it will cover up to chapter 306 which is the start of the final act, one of those.
Tbh every show has a phase or an arc in which it is kinda slow and generally not as good as the other phases. The amount of crap people are giving mha is unbelievable. 4 seasons of awesomeness and then 10 ep of average stuff is enraging them and after those 10 ep it gets way better than anyone anticipated and manga readers are telling them that but still they wanna crap on mha... the pettiness of the haters never ceases to disgust me..
I don’t think so, because if anything it’ll be even more satisfying to just watch through all the episodes they missed one after the other; instead of having to wait a week after each episode :).
I feel this is a genius move from Horikoshi. He showed the world as a happy, optimistic and where you can achieve your dreams, but he started showing the layers of injustice and corruption. Now the world of MHA is showing it's true color, a dark, gritty and unforgiving world
I also like how he shows the “villain” side even tho truly everyone has their mistakes and sometimes it’s not even the persons fault why they are the way they are. Shigaraki and Deku are so similar in the way they were “trained” by their masters. Shigaraki wants to please AFO and Deku wants to please AM.
What so genius about it? The pay offs so far for the darker tones were not set up super well They just mentioned somethings here and there with stain and nagant
@@BanitoYuno Deku wanting to please All Might isn’t really his motivation, rather just filling his shoes as the new symbol of peace, just as Shigaraki wants to become the new symbol of evil/fear (which is a goal he’s lost sight of in the most recent chapters, same as Shigaraki). I think the best parallel that can be drawn between the two of them is this: Deku and Shigaraki had effectively the same goal, that being to become a great hero, except Shigaraki was born in an environment and with a quirk that would never allow that to be a possibility, and Deku was born with circumstances that would never allow that to be a possibility. They both have basically the same overly-sensitive personalities and outlook, yet Shigaraki was taken in by AFO and turned bitter towards a world he had felt betrayed him, whereas Deku was taken in by All Might and taught to act selflessly towards a world that needed him. Both of them easily could’ve been the other, all based off of chance.
@@viyusavery248 what are you talking abt stain literally changed the whole course of the story by himself that’s the payoff. If stain was never in the story then it would be just another hero vs villain story. And nagant was just another example of how messed up the hero society is. Which again changes how the people think about hero’s. They arent all perfect human beings like what was shown in the beginning of the story.
Mha is "walking" on a dark Almost realistic path which i myself find it really attractive. Then you also have deku Who's becoming a more realistic character with a bigger vision of how the world really works and how not everything is black and white.. Long story short his character development is really appealing..
This. A lot of people don’t like that there are people saying that they actually like Deku now but the thing is…he’s interesting now. He’s growing up. Deku very much feels like a teenager learning for the first time that there are terrible people in the world and that his optimism can’t solve everything. I for one really enjoy this side to him because now I want to see him recover and become healthy. Now I’m invested in his health both body and mind. I really can’t wait to see how this develops.
I like him much better I'm not really a big fan of Naive altruistic people. Him being more realistic about the world and what he can do to save it. Also the new design looks sick
I just wanna see more Uraraka development. Personally, I like Uraraka as a character, and she's definitely not one of the worst female characters in shounen, but I just want her to be a bit better. Horikoshi said in an interview a while back that he still has plans for characters like Uraraka and Shoji, so I hope he executes them well.
Most definitely. She has so much room for development, with her wanting to be a hero to help her parents, her coming to terms with her feelings for Deku, hopefully more training from Gunhead. I love her character, but I feel like she was put on pause while a few other characters get their time to shine. I trust Horikoshi though, the man just knows what he’s doing.
Agreed. The shading and the way he draws action is incredibly well done, that and the aesthetic that makes MHA look like a blend between American comics and manga. Wouldn’t say it’s Miura/Murata tier, but it’s definitely top notch as far as Shonen go.
@@shockshplock3480 feel free to disagree but I study constructive art and only sharing what I am noticing,(the only reason I read comicbooks are for studying art), Imo Horikoshi>Murata>Miura , although murata's rendering skills are way above any japanese manga artists I've seen(except boichi)
Interesting, I’ve always felt nowadays that the series would probably end around 500 and volume 50, because that’s what Oda told Horikoshi to shoot for and Hori is bad at gauging time and length like most manga artists. Horikoshi said the Sports Festival turned out longer than he’s hope so that factors into the pacing of all this. I think the Final Act will be 9 arcs just like the other ones before and a good 500 chapter range is very possible. But 450 range is possible too so we’ll see, I think low 400s is way to short and rushed in my opinion. Especially since arc 1 is still going in chapter 318 currently right now. My high ball estimate is still chapter 500 range and volume 50 like Oda said, but 450 range is very possible too. We’ll just have to see from here, great video though as always.
Even if people hates the anime/manga just cause of the fandom, or there is somethings that i don't like, it will be forever in a place in my heart, i remember those first seasons with nostalgia, now the story really turned dark and serious, but with Deku holding the spark of hope in it, i really like more Deku than before
Tbh every show has a phase or an arc in which it is kinda slow and generally not as good as the other phases. The amount of crap people are giving mha is unbelievable. 4 seasons of awesomeness and then 10 ep of average stuff is enraging them and after those 10 ep it gets way better than anyone anticipated and manga readers are telling them that but still they wanna crap on mha... the pettiness of the haters never ceases to disgust me
@Chad Sanji it’s not really pettiness. After season 2 the show becomes pretty inconsistent. Until MVA the show doesn’t really get consistently good, the criticism is valid. On top of that the overhaul arc adaptation was underwhelming(probably because of the movie they were working on), and they removed a ton of scenes that justified chisaki’s entire character. You can’t tell me that the overhaul arc in the manga didn’t just feel way more impactful than it did in the anime. The choreography and artwork just felt so much more impactful.
I'm just so hyped for MHA, more than ever. Everytime I think the show is going into a particular direction, Horikoshi delivers a turnaround as smoothly and structured as possible, if the quality of the series was ever in doubt, I think that's in the past.
When it was announced that we were in the final act I was thinking BNHA, would end at around 450 chapters. 150 chapters an act made sense to me but this makes a lot more sense.
Loving the MHA content. There's still a ton to cover for a lot of different characters from deku to uraraka, bakugo, todoroki, a lot of the villains etc to cover so I think there's still around 100-150 chapters left. MHA just keeps getting better and better and it's amazing to see all the setup getting paid off- hats off to Horikoshi
Yeah I pretty much agree with everything you said but also keep in mind that sometimes shonen have huge final arcs like Naruto or bleach so there the 9 arcs per act thing probably wouldn't apply. I wouldn't be surprised if hori decides to do a final arc similar to the war arc but maybe even longer since there he would have to tie everything up neatly.
Whether or not the series resumes after the ending will hinge primarily on solving the problem of the singularity theory. In any case, Horikoshi has created such an amazing and detailed world that any number of prequels would be welcomed.
There are two people that could handle One For All but it’s really just one. The first is Kirishima. With his Hardening quirk, Kirishima’s body can physically handle OFA but he would die early due to all the quirks in his body. The only one who can really handle OFA is Eri. Rewind can fix her body to repair the damage from using OFA but we don’t know if Rewind can solve the life shortening problem when a Quirk user has OFA.
@@warcrimes390 True true. It all really depends on how long Horikoshi wants to keep MHA going. It would be pretty sick if there was a time jump after the end of MHA to when Eri is going her first internship with Deku. Because if Eri can rewind her body, she could be the forever holder of OFA. Eri would also be able to permanently erase the Quirks of crazy people to keep the peace. Like with Overhaul or Muscular, Eri could just beat the up with 100% OFA, or 200% with Fa Jin, and rewind their bodies so they can’t use their Quirk to harm people. Eri would be, essentially, playing God but it would be pretty cool gray area to explore with her character.
I've thought of this for a while, but if MHA does get the Naruto Shippuden treatment, it would be cool if it was about the adult versions of Deku and co. changing society in such a way that someone like Shigarak, Stain, or maybe even Gentle don't pop up.
Or , I have a really interesting idea what if they make it so that afo return perhaps by stealing himiko toga's quirk and hiding as a user of one for all which is passed down to the next generation
I like your predictions for how many chapters we still have left. My theory is something between 100 and 200 chapters (a much wider ranger than yours), for pretty much the same reasons you pointed out. I also don't see MHA continuing after the AFO/OFA plot is resolved, so I can see the story having at minimum 100 chapters for the 3rd act (the same as the 1st act), and at maximum 200 chapters (the same as the 2rd act).
This anime has changed me and my dad's lives. It sounds corny but I don't care. I remember I was bored in quarantine and I decided to watch a new anime. I heard a lot about MHA so I decided to give it a shot and I immediately fell in love with the show (the part where Eri smiles make me tear up every time). Then I showed my dad the anime and he loves it too. He said it reminds him of the animes he used to watch when he was younger. Now he's binge-watching the entire show (he's on the cultural festival arc). I'm really sad to see it go when I've known this show for only a year.
I wondered recently if they were going to try to do a thing where the society they had was a first step but greatly inadequate and with so many cracks that so many slipped through, that it will be up to MHA's young heroes to be the foundation of a more truer and better hero society, with Deku and maybe even Bakugo as the pillars of that foundation. Deku is learning first hand more and more the failures of the current society and how fragile it is, so I doubt he and his classmates would want a repeat.
So far there are 4 ish major things that need to happen in the manga that will take up at least 20 chapters each. 1. All for ones defeat/All mighta death I believe these two things will happen at the same time and I think stain will play a big role in it. 2. Shigarakis defeat. I believe this will be the final arc of the current series 3. Endeavor and shoto vs toya/toyas defeat This is kinda obvious but it will probably involve the whole class minus deku and bakugo 4. The traitor reveal There’s no way that this was something that won’t come into reality. Someone is a traitor and we have to find out who The rest: Dekus redemption with his class, probably will lead to traitor reveal, Eri saving people, she’s too strong and important not to. Erasers big moment, wether he dies or saves deku or ends up being the reason they defeat shigaraki doesn’t matter Deku x uraraka. I’m not a big shipper for this show cause the fans make it gross, but cmon it has to happen at least a little bit.
Has anyone consider changing the implications of the final act, It mean or imply this being the final act of All Might or the final act of All Might vs AFO 🤷🏽♂️
Deku eats hair for power Luffy eats fruit for power Eren eats people for power Goku gains more hair the more power he uses One punch man loses hair to gain power
Dabi goes plus ultra prominence burn vs endeavor and shoto (proves to be so powerful that he temporarily surpasses almight, whilst burning his body alive in an attempt to end his father) shoto must use ice to its maximum potential with his fire side to protect his dad. Dabi dies in a burnt crisp the area around them is completely destroyed. But shoto saves his father and they’re exhausted , we see them looking on in bewilderment at the extent of which dabi went to end his life.
Can't wait for the next gen of my hero academia, where Midoriya fights a race of alien gods who can just negate quirk powers because he's too hard to write around. And then his son Bzuku Midoriya surpasses him because he gets a cool magical eye and glowy arm
I ll be happy no matter what happens, I hope, and most of the things can be conclude, messages and all that but I personally strongly believe that we will have part 2 once we have the Todoroki family drama, if Dabi kills Endevoir we still have more to solve, the development of some characters that the author promised, all the mystery around OFA, personally I think Shigaraki will kill AFO and maybe become emperor of Japan, this whole psychological situation of Midoria that won't be rushed since nothing in the series was, if All Might dies can make him change his prespective but can also can reinforce of him separate from others for your safety, since All Might was killed because was near him and only to cause suffer to him... I don't know I'm in doubt about what could happen, the author is young, he said he loved having a long-lasting series, after his other series canceled and the fact that this one has almost everything planned from the beginning and is successful and has the potential to last, he said he wanted to surpass Naruto and see realism that he gives to the series I don't see Midoria conquering everything so new, the rumor of 10 movies, international heroes, the psychological of some students after last war, if we saw someone killing a villain most plot to cover, once the old heroes die will be the hour to our students sucsseed and shine, I wouldnt be admire if in the end of Academia most of the heroes die and then we have a Shiggy emperor and the students and other heroes becoming rebels, kind of star wars that the author is fan. And a part 2 is a good way to people that didnt read the 1st part start reading the 2nd, and for the fact of people think the series is ending will create a even bigger hype, and loosing Academia from the title could call the atention of some older people
Deku is out here mask and cowl on using almost all of his quirks at the same time a sudo 100% grand Torino’s cape arm bands made by malissa from the first movie and he’s angry I do hope that deku at least starts eating sleeping and excepting more help but I also want him to keep the mask on it’s so cool
I'd argue the first act ends at volume 11, and the second act ends at around vol 30(makin it 19 volumes long), my estimation is that the thing act goes for 10-15 volumes, making me believe Mha will have ~45 volumea total.
Honestly MHA has the highest ups and down (ups being the villains, philosophy and character. With down being class A and B fight). But still holds dear to my heart, since it's the first manga i bought.
I still dont get the 1A v 1B hate... Yes the first 2 battles weren't the most exciting but starting from match 3 it was hype af! Iida had an amazing moment same with Shoto and tetsu tetsu. Mudman is the coolest 1B character. Next match we got to see Bakugou's development, which in my opinion is one of the best parts of mha. And match 5 introduced a new side to ofa.
@@auzinsss1665 I think the weekly experience was what made people hate, or at least very much dislike the arc (the shorter chapters per week also didnt help). Tho I really enjoyed it thats cuz I was able to read it when the arc had already ended, so I could binge-read it
Everybody, don't get me wrong. It's far from worst (in my opinion). For me it was the pacing, action and story was fine. But for me, this was weekly and it dragged a bit.
@@PathwaysDesolation14 I can understand what you mean because the content is written mostly for build up and isn’t a fast paced series like JJK or CSM.
I loved watching MHA back in season 1. Then j felt a lot was off about 2 and 3 but really liked the start of 4. Then I just thought about it and didn’t really like how the series was going. It felt like a lot of stuff happened to happen and there wasn’t really a clear overarching story yet. But I gave in to curiosity and read the manga. I have to say that my issues that I had with the series before are all cleared up and I’m very excited to see how it all ends
I remember hearing this somewhere but at the same time I could be talking out of my ass but I think the main issue with season 3 and 4 comes from horikoshi’s original editor wanting him to play it safe.
I think we got about a good 200 chapters left with the series ending between chapters 500-600. I agree with each act being 9 arcs but the first act was about 100 chapters, next act about 200, and the final act could possibly be up to 300. Add on to the fact the anime director said something about the possibility of 10 seasons(i think it might end at 9 because s1-3 = act 1, s2-6 =act 2, s7-9=act 3). Season 6 will probably end with chapter 317, and with each season since 4 being about 60 chapters. Thats about 180- 240 chapters left.
Have u also considered the 5 act structure like freytag or jo ha kyu? Using freytag, we’re somewhere between the climax and return arcs. So yeh I’m excited for the end.
Horikoshi wanted this to be a short series that ended on volume 30 which didn’t happen of course, I think like Oda predicted again My Hero will end on volume 50 and chapter 500 range again. So with that in mind and Horikoshi’s apathy for not wanting to write more and not tryna make the next One Piece he said in terms of length, I don’t expect a sequel series. At least wrote by him anyway and drawn by Hori himself at all. He did say he wants to show their lives as adults though so we might see it in some form. I feel like the best idea is to show more of the adult time skip in the movies, if that 10 movie rumor claim is true for the series. Best of both worlds.
i kinda feel like if the whole story is split into three acts id say 3 seasons makes an act since we're in season 5 now season 6 will cover the war arc. My guess is we are currently reaching the end of what would be season 7 in the manga and we will probably get one or two more seasons worth of content depending on if after this arc we jump into the final clash or if there is another story arc that fits between whats going on now and what I anticipate will be MHA's Endgame
I'm sorry but your math doesn't add up. You said that season 6 will cover the war arc, which I agree with. But then you said we're nearing what would be the end of season 7. There have been 12 chapters since the end of the war arc. Basically what you're saying is that season 7 is going to be about half a chapter per episode.
@@ogshyj well that’s because no math went into my post lol honestly I didn’t realize it’s only been 12 chapters it felt like it’s been allot more time since it concluded but regardless I think MHA will probably conclude on its 7th or 8th season
I mean, sure the manga is in an all time high, but have you considered the impact of skipping one of the *best* arks will have to the part of the audience that is anime only? I mean the anime was already(or at least in my opinion)getting dull or boring during the school festival and 1A v1B ark, so do you think that skipping such a major ark is gonna cause some of the anime only fans to drop the series(or at least temporarily)?
@@brokencreativity7266 lets hope so I just think that putting a not so impactful(idk how to describe it😅bellow 8/10? Idk😅) ark Back to back may not be the best idea Especially if the akr that you're switching around is one of the highlights of the series Like, for me, I am personally Bored AF at this point and the school sh*t is starting to get on my nerves🤦♂️
1. It wasn't skip it was switch. 2. Switching it was the best move, because it provides two advantages. a. Prevent the movie from spoiling the show. b. It also permit the series to end 9n a higher mark.
I'm pretty sure that what Deku is doing right now is becoming the dark symbol of peace and number one, maybe call it symbol of doom for villains, because of the way he looks. After the final fight he's probably gonna get ranked as number 1
I have a sweet spot for MHA I'll never forget I was stuck with jury duty for a week so I decided to read the manga and caught up to the bakugo and deku fight. I'm excited to see where Horikoshi takes the end of the story
If Imma be honest, once 306 started I was pretty disappointed as to where the series was going. Deku being strong and then being hunted before a final showdown with Shigaraki seems a bit of a timid way for the series to go out.
@@BrokenRonin I think I found the Paranormal Liberation War arc to be massively thrilling. It started at 253 and immediately we’re treated to the origins of Kurogiri, and it’s pretty intense the whole way through. To the lives lost, the scale of the battles and the tensions with Dabi and Endeavor. Sooooo damn good. This final arc has a powered up Deku which is great for when we get to the final battle I’m sure, but I feel like we’ve missed so much. The manga feels like it turned from a shonen manga into a broody American superhero comic. It’s been entertaining, and while the actual stakes are massive, I feel less drawn in to the arc at the moment. It’s timid in a way the story beats have been more cliché than usual. I’m just finding the current moment in the story to be pretty cheesy. Deku pushing all his friends and allies away and wanting to do it all alone is just so classic superhero trope. He pushed All Might away and the only thing that could make this cheesier and worse is if All Might dies and Deku beats himself up for pushing his friends and All Might away. Right now his friends are gonna save Deku from himself? That sounds pretty standard, it’s like the Teen Titans trying to win Robin back from Slade after he wipes the floor with them. I’m just a little on the “ehhhh” side I’m just hoping the arc’s climax is going to be as good as we’re expecting it to be.
@@Cody-tk9nw I mean...one of My Hero's biggest influences is American superhero comics, it makes sense it'd start to resemble those more than traditional Shonen manga at some point.
Regardless if the series simply ends or continues with a spin-off or a second part, I simply want to see what comes with this final act. I’m more on the side of wanting the series to end, rather than prolonging its lifespan with a continuation (though a part of me honestly wants exactly that). That being said, I’m personally interested to watch this story unfold, regardless of what happens, whether I like what happens from this point onwards or dislike the direction or decisions along the way. I jumped on this series a long time ago, and I want to ride this one the whole way.
I actually think you are right, but I do think you should have talked abit more about where it was to what it has become. More specifically the tone shift.
@Mother's Garbasement deku is definitely way better than Kankei. Every fucking arc his development gets reset whenever he loses his memories after fighting the ghouls or inspector's. I don't really care for him. And the story itself is so complex and confusing.
I think that the recent chapters are where Deku's real character development starts. From a typical, even overly wholesome shonen protag to a character who has a more realistic view of the world. I know a lot of people are upset over how the series has treated izuku, myself included because I don't want to see him hurt, but I'm really enjoying seeing him change, and mature. All the characters are more mature to be honest, bakugo and uraraka for example. MHA is one of my favourite series so I really hope that the ending will do it justice
Horikoshi has stated before that after this series he wished to do more with the universe, so a sequel is definitely possible, maybe with Eri's generation?
I really loved how Deku has changed as a character. He is still reckless and refuses to harm innocent citizens. Now Deku basically has dropped the crybaby act and is more distant. His kindness is there but is very hidden due to his dark aura. Deku has given up on showing his pity towards the villains. All he cares is finding AFO and ending the hell AFO has created. He doesn't want his peers and heroes to get involved with his fight. But one thing hasn't changed with him and that's his stubbornness. Before we would see his refusal on letting the villains get a win and being helpful in a way of making a positive impact on the ones he cares, now his stubbornness is shown in his self-care. Deku refuses to eat, heal and rest. His development throughout this entire arc has been very entertaining. Sorry for this long rant. I just have to show my appreciation for this character development.
I don’t think the anime is going to do well with its shift in tone, the anime is trying desperately to stay in that season one tone and mindset despite how dark it’s getting
If there is a time skip I feel like young versions should beat afo, but as an adult they need to fix the flaws of the superhuman society which is a much more nuanced issue
Part 2 or not.... I just really really hope the ending isn't some sort of AOT feel where all superpowers are gone. At least have a ending that is open to interpretation on how fans and future writers can be able to continue Deku's story or even make a newer one. Just saying. I'll still love this series regardless because of the genre, the inspirational storytelling and the lore.
I think h will go open world diverse story route of dekus is finished, it dorsnt even have to be linear, like comics, which is why i think thats whhat he goes for. With vigilante he has already shown h can expand the world in spin offs well, he should do that.
🔥🙌💯🙏HoriGOAT deserve everything Especially other anime like Dbz , Bleach , One Piece , etc … His ascending in front of our eyez & he deserve breaks without hate too
I think MHA is like Naruto in reverse, where people adore the first half of Naruto and have heavy criticism about the last third of it. MHA's beginnings were clumsy and bogged down by school shenanigans which took away from a lot of the good it had to offer. But as it further opened the world, it allowed us to delve into the characters, their histories, and how the world shaped them. That is where MHA shines. At around the time of My Villain academia it when the story began to really come alive. And after the attack on the Metahuman Liberation Army, the story was catapulted into the A-tier category. I don't know if as a whole story it can ever surpass A-tier and go into S-tier. But if you segment it, it can definitely have a good 1/3 to 1/2 of the story be S-tier.
I honestly think the reception for mha will significantly improve once my villain academia gets animated. It'll hopefully expand the fanbase and the newer fans will be far less toxic than the majority of it right now
I would prefer a MHA next gen with Eri or someone In that age group and we get flash backs on how deku became no.1, through stories or we get a Deku cameo with flash backs
AFO has still yet to prove himself as a quality villain and character to me as he hasn’t exactly been on screen character wise as much as some other characters and sometimes just comes across evil for the sake of being evil in the sort of spoiled child sense even though he acts more mature. Of course he’s now decided to have a somewhat understandable goal even if it’s a little inconsistent as at first he wanted to be a “demon lord” or the most evil person of all, and now he instead wants to create a “the strongest rule” society where he obviously rules everything because of the power he holds. And while some could argue that those two go hand in hand, it’s the way that AFO reveals it that comes across, at least to me, as some sort of “noble” cause as he views it as getting rid of corrupt and failed systems and replacing them with a more true and honest one that “coincidentally” has him at the top. It’s a sort of evil justify good means goal that contradicts his original “most evil person of all” goal. Shigaraki currently is undoubtedly a good villain though it feels like he’s turning into a “Obito” in the sense that right now he’s a villain, but he’ll eventually turn to the heroes side after some Deku performing “Talk no-jutsu” or I guess “Talk Smash” and helping him defeat the REAL final antagonist. That being AFO of course.
No way. Tomura is not turning good. Hiro himself confirmed that Tomura will not be "redeemed". He js going to kill either AFO or All Might and take back the main antagonist role from AFO
I actually believe a Part 2 is practically guaranteed. My Hero Academia is a deconstruction of it's own title with Act 1 (everything from chapter 1 to chapter 95) acting as more of a prologue or construction phase. Everything past chapter 95 is the real story - a gradual deconstruction of 'what it means to/takes to be a superhero'. This can be seen most obviously with the narrative outcomes of each major arc. From the Pro Hero arc on, each major arc has been a negative reflection of the arc on the opposite side. Joint training to Cultural festival, MVA to Overhaul, and the War arc to Kamino. By negative, I mean a reversal of outcome: for example, both the War arc and Kamino ended in a pyrhhic victory just on opposite sides of the conflict. Following this pattern to its logical conclusion should tell you where and how MHA will end. And when it ends the deconstruction phase will be complete; with no more 'hero' and no more 'academia'. I have a strong feeling that Horikoshi definitely plans to follow through, with the reconstruction phase, in a continuation, just with a different title.
Wow thought you was gonna talk about My Hero Academia and not about mathematical equations on the completely speculation of his long you think is left. Dayum
honestly, I hope it does end without needless additions to it. like Bleach would of been one of the best shonen's ever had it not continued after aziens defeat. I really hope my hero does not fall for the same trappings of wanting more profit than story.
I still feel like this arc has been rushed and there was a need of a time skip were the heroes got older because this arc now does not really make it enjoyable especially when watching the Anime and Hear an Older Deku Narrating the Story.
I'm glad the manga picks up because as an anime only I've always felt mha was a little underwhelming cuz it spends 60% of the time being a slice of life
Apparently a lot of people stopped reading the manga after the Class A vs Class B arc. This is the first arc where I haven’t cared about the plot. In my own opinion, I think the pacing is all over the place. Meanwhile, the anime’s art is constantly changing. Everyone is so round compared to the first two seasons. Idk. I’m just expressing how I feel and I’m upset with myself for falling out of love with the story. I hope I’m proven wrong.
Controversial opinion but MHA dropped off hard after Deku received multiple quirks. 🤷🏿♀️ It lost its charm, characters felt...bland? It became the Deku, Todoroki and Bakugo show and I just grew tired of it
Imagine he didn't have one for all, he would've taken bat man route, people will start to call it bat-man ripoff. You can't say its a trashy show because it has a lot of good things
@@Primeking2345 @king sinbad I'm not saying that. I personally think the decision to give Deku multiple quirks was a mistep as one of the core components of MHA had been Deku working on making All Nights power his own. We had a perfectly fine system for scaling it with the percentage and his progression felt earnt. The moment he started getting extra quirks I personally found it to be...too much. As for the other characters y'all remember shinso? Oh noo midnight died ahhhh. Kirishima being by Todoroki's side instead of Bakugo's in the hospital after the war arc? The fact that every arc just seemed to he Deku and Todoroki???MHA has progressed a lot but personally I think it's gone for the worse. Not bashing anybody who enjoys it but also your reply had nothing to do with what I was saying? I don't have a problem with Deku having a quirk or even multiple but I think the decision to give him multiple was dumb.
Anime onlys are going to be kicking themselves for not keeping up with this season because after the endeavor training arc this series is going from zero to one hundred and not stopping.
SPOILERS:
I re-read these arcs twice over, recently, starting from the raid on the liberation front.
My god, the PACING after the endeavor training arc is just bat shit insane (in the best way, obviously)
I absolutely LOVE the darker/seinen-ish tone in the last few chapters.
The pay offs so far for the darker tones were not set up super well
They just mentioned somethings here and there with stain and nagant
@@viyusavery248 then buzz off
Who cares abt how and what u think
@@BanitoYuno Deku wanting to please All Might isn’t really his motivation, rather just filling his shoes as the new symbol of peace, just as Shigaraki wants to become the new symbol of evil/fear (which is a goal he’s lost sight of in the most recent chapters, same as Shigaraki). I think the best parallel that can be drawn between the two of them is this:
Deku and Shigaraki had effectively the same goal, that being to become a great hero, except Shigaraki was born in an environment and with a quirk that would never allow that to be a possibility, and Deku was born with circumstances that would never allow that to be a possibility.
Mha is "walking" on a dark
Almost realistic path which i myself find it really attractive.
Then you also have deku
Who's becoming a more realistic character with a bigger vision of how the world really works and how not everything is black and white..

Judging from the chapter 319 leaks, I can see development happening especially with how cold she looks at Deku currently
Yeah same!!
Oh boy now that you talking about shoji horikoshi make him justice with the recent chapter just wish we knew this new side from him a lot sooner
Ngl horikoshi's art is top notch
Agreed. The shading and the way he draws action is incredibly well done, that and the aesthetic that makes MHA look like a blend between American comics and manga. Wouldn’t say it’s Miura/Murata tier, but it’s definitely top notch as far as Shonen go.

@NILAY SHARMA as long? naruto? Maybe. One piece? Hell no.
Even if people hates the anime/manga just cause of the fandom, or there is somethings that i don't like, it will be forever in a place in my heart, i remember those first seasons with nostalgia, now the story really turned dark and serious, but with Deku holding the spark of hope in it, i really like more Deku than before

I hate it because it's trash. Most of these anime out cannot hope to measure up to the greatness that is Mob Psycho.

I'm just so hyped for MHA, more than ever. Everytime I think the show is going into a particular direction, Horikoshi delivers a turnaround as smoothly and structured as possible, if the quality of the series was ever in doubt, I think that's in the past.
A corrupt society arc would be amazing. A fight against the system deku loved so much
Are u gonna do tokyo's revengers vids
@@James.Hill. but thats assuming that eri can rewind herself and that when she rewinds herself she doesnt rewind her tolerance with OFA
I wonder what they are going to do about the quirk singularity
1. All for ones defeat/All mighta death
I believe these two things will happen at the same time and I think stain will play a big role in it.
2. Shigarakis defeat.
I believe this will be the final arc of the current series
3. Endeavor and shoto vs toya/toyas defeat
This is kinda obvious but it will probably involve the whole class minus deku and bakugo
4. The traitor reveal
There’s no way that this was something that won’t come into reality. Someone is a traitor and we have to find out who
The rest: Dekus redemption with his class, probably will lead to traitor reveal,
Eri saving people, she’s too strong and important not to.
Erasers big moment, wether he dies or saves deku or ends up being the reason they defeat shigaraki doesn’t matter
Deku x uraraka. I’m not a big shipper for this show cause the fans make it gross, but cmon it has to happen at least a little bit.
For the traitor thing i think deku being back at UA is prime time to see who they are. Or horikoshi actually just forgot lmao
Has anyone consider changing the implications of the final act, It mean or imply this being the final act of All Might or the final act of All Might vs AFO 🤷🏽♂️
I wanna see some of class 1-A/1-b without back stories team up against like 2 or 3 high end nomu in the final fights.
Do you think there will be another villian oriented arc in the final act?
Deku eats hair for power
Luffy eats fruit for power
Eren eats people for power
Goku gains more hair the more power he uses
One punch man loses hair to gain power
Yes
Wow
I hope shoto will get more character development along with solo fights
We'll probably get a Shoto vs Dabi fight.
His quirk need development too!
Yes! I want the idea of shoto being his family’s hero played out more!
We REALLY need Shoto vs Dabi
Let’s go another MHA vid
Can't wait for the next gen of my hero academia, where Midoriya fights a race of alien gods who can just negate quirk powers because he's too hard to write around.
And then his son Bzuku Midoriya surpasses him because he gets a cool magical eye and glowy arm
Wow bro havnt been on youtube in a few months and you gained like 18k thats amazing man keep up the good work💪
I ll be happy no matter what happens, I hope, and most of the things can be conclude, messages and all that but I personally strongly believe that we will have part 2 once we have the Todoroki family drama, if Dabi kills Endevoir we still have more to solve, the development of some characters that the author promised, all the mystery around OFA, personally I think Shigaraki will kill AFO and maybe become emperor of Japan, this whole psychological situation of Midoria that won't be rushed since nothing in the series was, if All Might dies can make him change his prespective but can also can reinforce of him separate from others for your safety, since All Might was killed because was near him and only to cause suffer to him... And a part 2 is a good way to people that didnt read the 1st part start reading the 2nd, and for the fact of people think the series is ending will create a even bigger hype, and loosing Academia from the title could call the atention of some older people
MHA strikes me as being more classical than other stories.
I wonder if you can do character analysises?
Deku is out here mask and cowl on using almost all of his quirks at the same time a sudo 100% grand Torino’s cape arm bands made by malissa from the first movie and he’s angry I do hope that deku at least starts eating sleeping and excepting more help but I also want him to keep the mask on it’s so cool

Best of both worlds.
i agree
i kinda feel like if the whole story is split into three acts id say 3 seasons makes an act since we're in season 5 now season 6 will cover the war arc.

Deku being strong and then being hunted before a final showdown with Shigaraki seems a bit of a timid way for the series to go out.
what about it is timid to you?
I’m just a little on the “ehhhh” side
I’m just hoping the arc’s climax is going to be as good as we’re expecting it to be.

Haven’t the creator said that it will be around 900 chapters?
i never really like deku character but since the arc deku has slowly become so much more than just a shonen hero
Find it amazing no matter what you do you make bangers
I don’t think the anime is going to do well with its shift in tone, the anime is trying desperately to stay in that season one tone and mindset despite how dark it’s getting
If there is a time skip I feel like young versions should beat afo, but as an adult they need to fix the flaws of the superhuman society which is a much more nuanced issue
Part 2 or not.... I just really really hope the ending isn't some sort of AOT feel where all superpowers are gone. At least have a ending that is open to interpretation on how fans and future writers can be able to continue Deku's story or even make a newer one. Just saying. I'll still love this series regardless because of the genre, the inspirational storytelling and the lore.
too bad it's most outspoken part of it's fanbase is ruining it
I think h will go open world diverse story route of dekus is finished, it dorsnt even have to be linear, like comics, which is why i think thats whhat he goes for. With vigilante he has already shown h can expand the world in spin offs well, he should do that.
It's surreal, how accurate ronin was. Now, it's 3 years into the future and the manga has finished off with 431 chapters.
Vigilantes anime gonna be lit.
I honestly think the reception for mha will significantly improve once my villain academia gets animated. It'll hopefully expand the fanbase and the newer fans will be far less toxic than the majority of it right now
Deku dying at the end of the series would be dope
I would prefer a MHA next gen with Eri or someone In that age group and we get flash backs on how deku became no.1, through stories or we get a Deku cameo with flash backs
I think it is coming to the end, but that end won't be coming for awhile
as long as it doesnt end like GOT/AOT we good
AFO has still yet to prove himself as a quality villain and character to me as he hasn’t exactly been on screen character wise as much as some other characters and sometimes just comes across evil for the sake of being evil in the sort of spoiled child sense even though he acts more mature.
@@zemox2534 you mean Horikoshi?
@@wizardwolf1020 Yes. I use Hiro as a nick name because writing his full name can be a pain.
@@zemox2534 ok
I think it’ll last another 3 years just so he can hit the 10 year mark
People gotta stop complain about wanting development for others & then say it’s taking too long
well the latest ch mha319 was a fing banger and this arc just have been amazing af i hope there s no 2nd gen after this like borushit and dbshit
At this point I want deku to race iida in a race😅😅😅
Deku blitzing Lisa easily to be fair
Dayum
Wow thought I was gonna read an inciteful comment and not see someone terrified of math and unaware of context.
Damn
honestly, I hope it does end without needless additions to it. like Bleach would of been one of the best shonen's ever had it not continued after aziens defeat. I really hope my hero does not fall for the same trappings of wanting more profit than story.
I actually became very bored with my hero except for a few moments, but where the manga now is it became way better in my opnion
Should really put spoiler warnings on those manga panels...
I still feel like this arc has been rushed and there was a need of a time skip were the heroes got older because this arc now does not really make it enjoyable especially when watching the Anime and Hear an Older Deku Narrating the Story.
We thought attack on titan was the end as well but here we are
Its the final saga not arc
I stated it was on its final "act" which is stated in the manga
japan often uses the 5 part structure
I'm glad the manga picks up because as an anime only I've always felt mha was a little underwhelming cuz it spends 60% of the time being a slice of life
Goat ronin
Hiro Shimono got COVID!!!
I hope I’m proven wrong.
bruh I want a mha next generation type thing with eri as the mc
The only thing it needs is a rushed and shitty ending. Then it’ll be a true shonen masterpiece.
Shounen Jump; unnaturally elongating or cutting series off is our specialty
Shoto has no combat skill
He relies too much on his quirk.

Controversial opinion but MHA dropped off hard after Deku received multiple quirks. 🤷🏿♀️ It lost its charm, characters felt...bland? It became the Deku, Todoroki and Bakugo show and I just grew tired of it
Ok, I don't mind it personally
Nah
I think you are the type of guy who like the ending of aot
