    Super tutorial for beginners as well as long time corers. Thanks Steve! Your way of measuring is ingenious and obviously very accurate. It would have been a real shame to put the insides of that beautiful piece on the floor. Thanks Steve and Tanya for a great video! Hope we get to see the new lathe soon!

    Hi 👋 Tanya and Husband, what a super ingenious idea to put a raker in the outside edge of the bowl 🥣, coring, I am hoping to purchase the ONE-WAY CORING set later in the year, and Hunter pro cutter, I did have problems watching this to many adverts 7 I think,
    Not sure if you have seen there is a guy from the Netherlands, he has built a very large coring machine, I think it is called a Juggernaut,
    I have not seen him for some time, he makes very very large bowls,

    Excellent. The point is often made that while the cost of any coring system is a bit steep, it doesn’t take selling many of those bonus bowls to make that money back. It’s super ingenious! Well done.

    When I think of all the wood I’ve turned into chips instead of a bunch of smaller bowls, I wonder why I never purchased a coring tool. Super ingenious operation.

      That was kinda where I was before I bought mine. It is a big investment but pays for itself in a couple cores.

    What a great video Tanya. I wasn't able to watch the whole thing until tonight. I cant wait to come out and turn with you when the new lathe gets here! Super cool idea! Very ingenious to schedule some coring when you knew he was going to be home. Come to think of it ill be coring Sunday, Monday and Tuesday could you send him over? Take care friends!

    The coring process you use is super genius. I have never tried to core anything. For now I am going to stick to segmenting and economy bowls. You and your husband did a fantastic job of explaining and demonstrating the coring process. I grew up in Mt. Vernon, Oh and sometimes I get back there. I think that is close to you? I would enjoy meeting you and your husband. Thanks for this video.

      We never use the bandsaw for our blanks. He uses it a lot for cutting his knife scales.

    I thought about getting a coring unit for my Laguna. But I still have about 35-40 3" and 4" blanks I picked up in Virginia. So, not much need. Great video, though. I saved it for in case I do eventually get one. Super ingenious. Almost as good as high speed low drag. Lol!

    Great video. Buy a socket wrench for tightening and loosening the nuts on the bed, its quicker than a ring spanner and you wont slip and wrap your knuckles i find, just a suggestion to make life safer and easier. Happy turning, thanks for sharing
