Greetings from Poland. Well driven Tricia. That road was amazing. The camera shots through the windscreen were brilliant. What a shame about the weather at the beginning of the video. Despite this, the views were spectacular. The next day, beautiful weather giving great views. The food looked superb at Hillibillies. Thanks so much for producing yet another wonderful vlog. See the three of you again soon.
Thanjs for the feedback, it sure was a shame about the weather but as you say it was better towards the end. Tricia did well driving, I was quite glad ot was her rather than me 🤣
Sue definitely approved of the little cafe at the end and we both admire Trish for driving Applecross Pass. Will catch up with more of your Vlogs tomorrow 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev n Sue
What a shame it was misty for you. You will have to go back. Great views of the mist though😁 We do love the Highland Coos When we were up I was too fat to walk to the falls, but Keith did and said how great they are. I have been to the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Slightly different but the Scottish version is stunning from watching your video. Enjoying your trip with you.
Thanks Alan, hope you are enjoying your cook out, it looked good. We filmed this site but it was before you arrived, so watch out for that one coming soon. Hope you enjoy the test of your break👍
Thanks Stew, we love trips at end of season, often get cheaper rates although this year the sites have discounted very little. Like you say, good excuse to go back.
Very enjoyable and informative vlogs on the NC500. Looking forward to the next instalments. We did the opposite direction in 2018 but only up to John O’Groats and Dunnet Head but will definitely try the full circuit when we get the chance. Have fun and safe travels! 👍🏼
I did that a couple of years ago but coming the other way in my old camper, a Peugeot symbol. It was terrifying 😱 really, really good brakes are a must 😀
I spent a couple of nights at Sands last month with the tent. I thought it was a great camp site. Well worth an explore further up the peninsula to the lighthouse too.
Why can’t he scots make a little bigger road? I didn’t care much for the road. Glad my guide was comfortable driving it. It was great seeing the close encounters with the coos. I thought about you when I enjoyed a whiskey tasting this past Saturday. I didn’t even realize there were whiskey distillery in Wisconsin. It was called J. Henry. Came home with 4 bottles. Medicinal😁
Marie, if the road was bigger and wider there would be no fun driving it. Glad you likes seeing the close encounters with the coos. Medicinal, yes right, I believe you 😉
Thats a lovely wee van and I'd be tempted to get one when I upgrade the Elgrand. One question is it mechanically a proper Toyota or a Peugeot?citroen/Fiat or worse Vauxhall as they now have the same van badged as a Vauxhall.I enjoy your vlogs thanks
@@stewartdavidson4758 they call it being an ambassador so if someone likes the van but wants to see before they commit then they can come and see ours. Not had anyone, i suspect because after we bought a new version of the van came out so we are probably superceded.

Wow that was misty. No big surprise this time of the year and it’s still a great drive. Enjoyed that and glad to see the tour is still on 👍
It sure was a real pea souper but well worth it for the fun of the drive and views from the top😄
Shame on the weather on the pass but always an excuse to go back .... I love travelling out of season so jealous of your trip - thanks for sharing

Thanks, yes you should give the whole route a go. Maybe next time we will do it in the direction you started, anticlockwise

If you were going the other way then you sure do need good brakes, and make sure to use them👍
I'll be in Applecross in a few weeks but luckily staying in Shieldaig so wont be attempting the dreaded pass

We didnt have time to check out the lighthouse, sounds like a good excuse to go back some day. Thanks for watching and your comments 👍
That caravan site is a real blight on the landscape...
We didnt think so, its been there for donkeys years and the dunes and grasslands are in perfect nick. All statics and pitches are well spaced out.
Brilliant vlog guys just a pitty the weather was not great 👍👍😎
Thanks Darren, yes we just had to make the most of it👍

Hi Geo, no idea, just know it drives like a dream, has a Toyota badge and 5 year warranty and Toyora reputation on the line and I am happy with that.
It's not the Applecross pass, it's Bealach na Ba
Ah, right, cheers Stewart
