Brought back great memories - cycled it the wrong way round in the early 80s. In Applecross we were asked 'have you come over the hill' we had cycled there along the coast road, thought that was hilly enough, little did we know what was ahead! Quite like the music - well done

Definitely NO boring bits - it’s Scotland, after all! - but there are certainly some sections even more spectacular than others.
Since we discovered this drive it’s been top of our “Must Do” list each time we’ve had the pleasure of visiting Scotland. Which won’t be for quite a while now, if ever again.....😢 😭
So thank you for this journey, as it’s been greatly appreciated from the other side of the world.

If we ever visit again, we’d love to stay in Gairloch, overlooking the bay, or somewhere between there and Applecross.

You are lucky to be in Australia, my early childhood was spent in Auckland, which was idillic. I spent some time in Australia, backpacking. Lovely people, open hearts and minds although I never got a chance to go further south than Sydney I came back with a lot of happy memories. The best part of living in the UK is that we could prior to COVID pop over Italy, Greece etc. Not so easy for you guys, but then you have Tahiti, Fiji and New Zealand, so swings and roundabouts. When we were staying in Lochcarron we came across the Lochcarron weavers shop and they are even online :) Stay safe
