I can relate to the rationale for staying on campsites though I was on the NC500 when the pandemic took hold and as a pensioner found campsites were just too expensive (several days pension for one night) so I could only afford to wild camp. It was a little stressful and I certainly felt more vulnerable to the actions of others should they occur and tried to remain as isolated as possible. I survived though it was not as enjoyable as I'd hoped but Scotland and the Hebrides were magnificent. Eventually I crossed to France via England (infinitely more stressful and less campervan friendly than Scotland). France was well-provisioned with park-up areas and access to water, sanitation etc. I very much appreciate your videos and sharing your adventures and insights. Keep the videos coming
Thanks so much for your comments, the pandemic has been so difficult for us all and campsites have become so expensive. In Scotland they are now talking about having Aires but it will take time. We would also like to do more wild camping. All the best and thanks for watching 👍
Greetings from Poland. A beautiful video. Thank you. The three of you looked to be enjoying yourselves very much. Such a lot to see and do. Lochcarron and the Wee Campsite was superb. Strome Castle was very interesting as were all the fun facts and historical information you gave me. I really enjoyed that. The end of Part 2. What's next? See you again soon.
Thanks Michael, we liked staying at the wee campsite then having a wee drive down the wee road to the wee castle. We still like the word "wee" so we do.
Hi Folks. Although I see a lot of people I recognized your faces and your dog. Thanks for your mention of the Wee Campsite, it is what it is, a bit like myself. I hope the weather is better the next time you come.
Hi Iain, we loved the Wee Campsite, I can remember you telling me about the walk and viewing spot up the hill which was fab, we will be back some time for sure 👍
My Scottish guide is a Mac Kenzie n we had a good laugh because it seemed to be their trademark to blow up their castles. My family n I really enjoyed his company!
Thanks guys, I put the captions and pointers against the salmon as it was far away on the video. Victoria falls showing on tonight's video, Ep.3. Now that was scary.
Another super episode. This one brought back memories for us as we were holed up at the Wee campsite for a few days in 2008. I had hurt my back moving our caravan. I think campsites seem to be the way to go on the NC500 now it’s so busy. Fingers crossed the lock downs don’t spoil your trip 👍
You brought back memories for me at Rogie Falls a great location and walk - with you right now re camp sites we normally mix it up but feel at the moment sites is the less stress way ...
Wait/What? Wee Wee We We Didn't you just leave France? Don't they say "Tah" in Scotland? lol Those falls were absolutely gorgeous. Trish, since you "unpacked", Mike should do the "re-packing back up". Right? lol Which one did the piano playing at the end? Nice. :o)
They also like the word "we" (oui) in France 🤣 and aye we do say "ta" hear meaning thanks. Mike got out of the repacking because he was taking Keira for a walk, that was his excuse anyway.
Lovely. So glad you put this series of videos in a playlist so we can watch them in order. Absolutely gorgeous thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching then Marilyn, that sure was a great trip so we hope you enjoy them all.
There are so many beautiful places in the world and no one can see them all. You help to fill in the gap of places I didn't get around to. Thank you.
Thanks, what a lovely thing to say, we really appreciate that 💕🐾
Thanks for your lovely 'wee' video, I really enjoyed it 🍷🍺👍🏼 🐶🐾🐾🐶
Thanks Chris for your wee comment 🤣
Love your wee vids guys always makes us want to get out in our van , thanks see you soon 👍
Thanks Peter, so glad to hear you are getting inspired to get out in your van!👍

Ha ha yes you are right they made a habit of destruction.
Another great video and yes we saw the shit if the Salmon! The Wee Campsite looks a great spot. TYFS. Best wishes Sue, Brian and The Westies👍🐶🐾😀
Thanks guys, it was a fab wee campsite 👍
Gosh the car park at the falls was busy! When we visited that was just our friends and our van there.
Saw the salmon, well captured🐟

Lovely to follow your trip trough Scotland. Lots of good memories. Looking forward to the rest.
Thanks Hans appreciate your comments.
Tricia's face when you stood on the crisps hahaha 😂
But imagine if it had been her crisps!

Thanks Ken it would have been quite tricky driving the caravan up there. The site was fully booked such is the popularity of the NC500 this year.👍

Thanks Stew, yes less hassle on sites at the moment.👍
Definitely a salmon. 👍
Yep, it was great to see it leaping out the water
