all jokes aside, i think it's good to say that it's okay to not have sex for any reason, and prioritizing your own comfort with your partner(s), sex itself, and your own body, is the best move. everybody is ready at different times in different circumstances and i think there are plenty of other ways to feel intimacy and/or pleasure without any sort of sex involved.
