Great info for people, but what I've found with my 1991, is that unplugging the vacuum solenoid behind the strut tower caused a check engine light on the A9P ecu
of course all this is for off road use only

Eliminating the smog and solenoids and vacume. lines gets rid of 90 percent of the vacuumed leaks that are a problem . Left 3 vac. Lines to worry about . Fuel reg . Brake booster and vacuumed for hvac .

some videos to help remove intake and throttle body that have not been separated since 1988 and full of corrosion build up around the studs would help alot of peeps basic videos for pro fox builders are a life line and heaven sent to guys just getting into it

Here in CA we are stuck with smog. A local smog tech was telling me that he has people coming into his shop all the time offering $500-600 to pass a car that wont pass due to being hot rodded. Since the state has become alot stricter towards smog techs who break the rules, its not worth for them to risk loosing their emissions licence to illegally smog a car. I wish I could put collector plates on my car like my friends in AZ. Since that isn't possible, I assume I am limited to a smog legal build.

Trying to track down the cause of a Code 85 - Canister Purge Circuit Failure. All of my Smog Equipment has been removed so obviously the Canister Purge Valve is gone. Will a Code 85 cause the CEL to illuminate while driving or is it just stored as an error code in the ECM? Thanks for any info!
How long the belt need to be if I’m keeping my ac??
What do you use to plug off the vacuum lines that need to be plugged off?

What size belt are you running ? I have everything factory including AC but I deleted the smog so I’m unsure what size I need now

So what if plugged vacuum lines as shown then just plug those two tubes wouldn’t that be the same thing

Always wondered what the heck a smog pump is...i have never seen 1..none of my vehicles..ever..had 1..and ive owned tons.
It pumps fresh air into the exhaust ports to continue combustion and reduce unburned hydrocarbons. You know, flames blow out the exhaust ports, add air.
Can't do that in Commiefornia 😭
Of course you can. Just have a trusted smog guy lined up and you're good to go lol.
