@@BlackRacer4 Depends. Oversoul Spectre does indeed curbstomp as he is one of the most powerful beings in fiction. Hal Jordan Spectre would also easily win due to having access to the Logoz. I guess base Spectre is also fair game for a win, but I'd say it's a stalemate considering both are multiversal. Is DC Cosmology actually bigger? I haven't really been keeping up, and all I remember is they're both infinitely growing.

Imagine Scarecrow getting possessed by Parallax. I know it takes someone with tremendous willpower, but technically you have to have a lot of willpower to devote yourself to putting on a costume of a scarecrow and go torturing people with their worst fears. And a master of fear possessed by fear itself, that would be a deadly combination, plus I think Scarecrow would actually enjoy it, and so when they try to free Scarecrow from its control, Scarecrow would resist anyone trying to separate them.
We got something close. He did get a yellow ring, once
@@redsledgeblu5234 What he did with the ring is not even close to something he could do with Parallax. I mean his knowledge of fear, and fear toxins would probably make him the perfect host. Also I liked how he was given the ring, but they should have let him use it longer. I mean he had so much more potential, and even without the ring he has amazing potential. We just need someone who could write him who knows his potential.

Specter seems to only have the amount of power the presence wills at any particular point in time. It seems the presence limited the specter to allow these crisis events to happen for... some reason.

I was one of the very few who bought Green Lantern #75 the day it came out. Apparently, a LOT of people somehow failed to realize that it was a "The Reign of The Supermen" tie in issue, and it went unnoticed. This was one of my prize issues in my 5000+ comic collection as the years went by, and I saw all that came out of it. It broke my heart when my ENTIRE collection was stolen.

One of the features of comic books that always makes me laugh is writers naming characters something that sounds cool but is utterly nonsensical.

Its not entirely since the prefix para is next to or beside, which kind of mirrors its theme of fear and willpower being grouped together to where you can't really have one without the other.

@@two4328 but that isn't what parallax means. It doesn't refer to a mirror, or a balance, or anything. They picked a word that sounded cool that you may be able to rationalize as having SOME tangential meaning but it is a stretch at best.
@@FearsEdge it could be based off parallax's motivations. The way he views the existing reality and to the way he wants to change it. But like you tho, we can always rationalize a connection to his name. But I agree with you. Just because it is a sweet sounding name.

One of his most underrated feats is that when he was bonded to Hal Jordan he was able to touch the Source Wall and not being absorbed into it.
He’s one of, if not the only being in DC to do this. Not even Yuga Khan (Darkseid’s father) and Darkseid could do that.

I don't understand why Parallax never chose the Scarecrow as a host.
It happened once. Scarecrow himself doesn't inflict fear into other beings, he uses chemicals. He doesn't exactly qualify, especially for what Sinestro would see in a being to feel that they qualify to be a yellow lantern.
