Captain Atom is on of the few characters that can easily kill Superman. In the JL cartoon he used some kind of red radiation to mimic Krypton's Sunlight, but if he had used Kyrptonite radiation, the fight would have been over before the first punch was thrown. Either Captain Atom threw the fight or, more likely, the writers had no idea who Captain Atom was or what he could do.

An important point was missed. At times, if he absorbs too much energy, he is tossed through time, and sometimes his power level gets reduced until it regenerates. This was true of the first version of the dilustel Captain. Not sure about the version that is molecularly unstable.

But what I would really like if you decided to do it is review Valiant Comics' Solar, Man of the Atom!! If any hero is beyond Omega level, he is. And of course, you could expand on some of Valiant's more iconic characters, such as X-O Manowar, Gilad Anni-Padda, the Immortal Warrior, Toyo Harada, or Solar's understudy, Divinity. And as for story arcs, you should really cover Divinity's 4 main arcs. They're a doozy.

Reading the Captain Atom: Armageddon storyline really made me love his whole schtick, he has a genuinely badass power.

Wtf....why isn’t DC doing more with this guy. Mf is OP af lol. Goes right there with Etrigan, Deadman, The Martian Man Hunter, Sandman, and Swamp Thing as awesome character properties being wasted outside of comic book form. We need more animated or live action series for this characters.

An important point was missed. At times, if he absorbs too much energy, he is tossed through time, and sometimes his power level gets reduced until it regenerates. This was true of the first version of the dilustel Captain. Not sure about the version that is molecularly unstable.

Hey Rob, good video. I would have likes it if you had gone a little more in depth into Capt Atom, maybe mention his Earth-4 counterpart, Captain Adam, the Quantum Superman. But what I would really like if you decided to do it is review Valiant Comics' Solar, Man of the Atom!! If any hero is beyond Omega level, he is. And of course, you could expand on some of Valiant's more iconic characters, such as X-O Manowar, Gilad Anni-Padda, the Immortal Warrior, Toyo Harada, or Solar's understudy, Divinity. And as for story arcs, you should really cover Divinity's 4 main arcs. They're a doozy.
