I followed your build, very impressed. Smashing through NME to upgrade my glyphs. This is better than Barb builds as you don't really need any other Uber unique than a Harley
Absolutely great build and one that I'm setting up for my wife for her to play during our sessions. I've always wondered with the use of Frozen Orbs if this build might not shine better with Fractured Winterglass? I know that's considered THE unique for a dedicated Frozen Orb build, but even a Blizzard build that utilizes Frozen Orb might benefit greatly unless I'm missing something.
Thanks! That's great! :D Hope you guys enjoy it. The build does utilize frozen orbs but the main damage comes from the ice spikes and having the 100% crit with esu's and the crit chance on items, and attack speed / ranks into hoarfrost plus ice spike damage on the necklace is a lot more worth than having the orbs/conjuration orb casting because with this build you only summon orbs 30% of the time you cast skills. Whereas if you actually use a frozen orb build you can cast 5x the amount.
@@GinDoesGaming I put it together yesterday as best I could with the gear she's managed to accumulate thus far. It was extremely fun and very effective, but the one major downside was holding the blizzard button down for more than few seconds absolutely tears through all your mana. Short of constantly consuming another restoration potions every time they run out, I'll really need to get some better and GA gear for her.
Update: My mistake. I was running Essu's on the tree and amulet with a considerable amount of attk speed on her gear already. Blew through mana. Made some tweaks and now it's working as needed. Thanks again!
Try a Winterglass Hydra build in season 5. I played this on PTR. 2 new tempers that synergize with Winterglass. More heads to hydras, up to 8 after masterworking and a lot more lucky strike chance+20-30 which procs the second part of Winterglass a ton more.
