My mum used to do that “round and round the garden” thing when I was wee! I’ve never seen it anywhere else, maybe it’s a UK thing? We’re in Canada but her mother lived in Southend-on-Sea.
Not sure if you’ve tried it but if the carpet still smells try the vanish pet shampoo foam. It’s different from the regular shampoo foam as it helps remove the lingering pet mess smells as it has an enzyme to break down the smell molecules. Also makes your carpet really soft. Worked wonders when our puppy was having accidents every where. (Obviously I know Delilah isn’t an animal but the principal is the same haha).

I'm wearing a very similar grey and white stripe jumper right now, I feel really coordinated haha
The next time someone gets sick on the carpet cover it with coffee grounds, let it sit for a minute and then vacuum it up. It makes it easier to clean up and it takes care of the smell. I have used it whenever my kids get sick and works like a charm! :)

Can I ask how you got Delilah so comfortable being babysat and just going with other people? Was she just always easy going that way or was it something you taught her from the time she was a baby? I wanted to ask you that in a different vlog and forgot. Between the child minder and your grandma and Doug’s parents she always seems so content being left with them without problem at all! It’s really wonderful and I hope my son will be that way too.
