That fast forward really helps to show the effect of each action since metal forming is usually a very slow process that cannot be captured by our eyes. Thanks!

Gotta love when you showed that shrinking disk galled up and turned into a gouging disk.

Thanks for the video. Do you ever get to a point where that panel hardens from too much hammering and shrinking? Also what paint are you using to sand and see the highs and lows?

I wouldn't bother.. grab any old blowtorch, an airline & shrink ahead - use circular diminishing diameter strokes with the torch then concentrate the heat for 5 seconds on the center where you want to shrink - you will see a small hot-spot develop, then quickly cool the center with the airline. You can watch the metal shrink before your eyes like magik, with none of the faffing about. Lifts out dents like a dream too.

Thank you for this very informative video. Can you please comment: if the area to be shrunk is around several square inches in area, do you start with the shrinking disk at the perimeter or in the middle? Thank you.

A definite improvement but Sorry you could have done much more hammer /Dolly before using the disk and you should have removed the Lead fill before doing any work. You are working the entire panel and you can’t when a large portion is dented and filled.
