Do you have any recommendation for extra tips? My ears are very small and most of the time these tips are just too big. (My pair will probably arrive in 2 weks, ordered them yesterday.)
I picked these up because they sounded really good in the demo videos on the tekitou sound comp yt channel. After listening in person, I'm not sure what TRN was thinking. According to the squig link graphs there is a 10-15dB boost at 8k, which makes these unbearably sibilant, nearly un-listenable. If I cut 5-6dB of standard peak EQ right at 8k, and add a mild bass shelf boost, they actually sound very very nice, almost above their price point, but I have no idea what was going through their minds with the stock tuning. The mids are also very smooth, neutral and articulate on these, never harsh. Maybe I'll try some foam tips to absorb some of the treble. At least they take very well to EQ.
I hear praises for trn v80 among chi-fi reviewers and these same people consider this to be better than zs10. You're the only reviewer who seem to have a different opinion. I already have the kz ZS6 and recently bought a pair of zs10. I hear the v80 has a sound signature similar to the ZS6. Is it advisable to get this having the zs10 already for better audio experience?
Even though I prefer the sound of the ZS10, I'd still rather have the V80s -- for me, the ZS10s just don't stay put in my ears. But if the ZS10s fit you, IMO there's no strong reason to get the V80s.

Super* Review My all time favourite smartwatches. Got the Pebble Time before it broke. I am thinking about getting another Pebble 2 or Pebble Time Round.
I have the V80 and at first they had very harsh highs but after some use the harshness disappeared and I recommend you to use the stock tips pulled all the way down and let them play alone for some time or use 1more burn in app. They become fairly balanced but not neutral with emphasis on mid bass and treble. The mids weren't recessed that much. The other two tips with narrow pore enhance the treble even more.
What do you mean by "with the stock tips pulled all the way down"? I did find some foam tips and added them -- they help with the highs a ton. I normally didn't like those foam tips because the dull sound on other headphones, but the TRNs can use it :)
@@SuperReview I mean that the medium sized tips has a different material at the stem and a wider bore compared with the other two. They elevate the bass and reduce the high and the mids become some what recessed with a noticeable V shaped which isn't so severe. But the narrow tips especially the small ones the treble was too much for me. I think they some what reduce the bass resulting in elevation to the mids and treble. About "pull them all the way down" the tips come out of the box with a gap between the metallic mesh and the external part of the tips. What I meant is when you put the tips make sure to put them all the way down to place the bore as close as possible to the nozzle. I have 2 V80s and the harshness disappeared on both after some time of use.
@@ahmedwael3019 Interesting, I found the opposite: The stock medium tips with the wider bores produced the most sibilance. I'd also expect putting the nozzles closer to my ear would increase treble more than bass, but I'll try it.
@@SuperReview my advise to you is to use the biggest or the medium sized ones pulled all the way down and let the earphone play at 75 to 80% volume for a few hours then try them again you will find them much smoother than before. I used the black V80 that I have for two days then I tried to use the blue ones for the very first time and there was a big difference. They need some burn in. And stay away form the smallest ear tips.
@@SuperReview thank you for replaying so far. May because we have different ear we hear differently but what I found is that the ones with narrow bore have less bass and more elevation in upper mid-range/ lower treble region while the wider ones have a more distinctive V shaped signature with emphasis on mid bass and upper treble while the mids take a step back but not recessed too much.

Well v80 can be tuned down or you can say are able to equalize a bit not much a bit and sound signature have a warm feeling towards it u can use for long durations But sound doesnot have a hollow feeling Regarding xb55 They have good sound Great lows Good mids Very processed highs And let me explain that no matter what u do no matter how hard u try the treble is sort of weird some would like it me personally i was got weird over it bass is good but its good u can hear it but u would have a feeling thats its somewhat hollow like u can just hear it there is no punch feeling like hollow Yeah i know sony xb means xtrabass but i dont prefer bass like that some would enjoy it others would argue that its hollow Sound signature is not warm it has a brightness towards it because of processed highs which cant be tuned down no mater what and they are so high that sometimes u wont feel the bass Except then that they are great and sony make there equipment for there mobile or amps so if u have that you would get great sound out of it because u might be able to control that treble

Own both Zs6 and trn v80. After burn in trn is the best. Less sibilant and boomines gone. 50 hours of burn in is a must. Bass becomes similar to LZA5 $250.
Hm, TRN V80 is a more refined sound, but IMO the sibilance is a bit of a killer. If you have some foam tips, it helps a lot. I just got the KZ ES4s, and their sound isn't as refined, but no serious issues with sibilance. I'd personally pick the TRNs, and for sure add some foam tips.

there are a lot of division in opinions, some say they are more comfortable than the AS10, thats why your honest opinion should be helpful, some say they are better than Tin audio T2 and sound like the T500 from NiceHck... ;D

OPERA FACTORY OM1
i love bass... and always listen to trap musics. what i hate is the high sibilance that my trn v20 have.
please answer me...
you can recommend also as long as their are the same price range that i mention. Thank you so much.
If you don't like high sibilance, you might not like the V80 -- I think it's pretty sibilant. Foam tips can help, though. I haven't heard the Opera Factory, but that set looks really cool. I did recently get KZ ES4 and they have pretty good bass and IMO no sibilance issues.
Can you compare with blitzwolf es2 and bw-vox1? Buy at banggood.i have blitzwolf es2 and trn v80.blitzwolf bass is much better.i want to know if t2 is better
I hve a plan to get zs6 because of the design what, do you think about v80 compare to zs6 in terms of sound quality ?
Sorry, I haven't heard the ZS6. Have you considered the Final Audio E2000?
@@SuperReview i more prefer with the detachable cable, but will watch the review about the E2000 first. thanks
I like it quite a bit better, but everyone's tastes / hearing are different. The E2000 is less V-shaped -- still has really punchy bass, but not as much, and the highs are not nearly as piercing as they are on the V80s.
After using these for 6 months, they are not sibilant at all. I couldn't use them when I first got them. Now I love them.
Did you change tips?
@@SuperReview No
@@SuperReview Also, which is for metal, AS06 or V80s? If neither what would you recommend at this price point? Thanks.
I don't really think of earphones on a per-genre basis. At this price point, my fave is Tin T2 and Moondrop Crescent.
Thx for a great review 👌❤😘👏
For you, anything.
Bro, is this v80 has more bass than Tin t2?
Yes, more.
Hello there mate. I'm heard of a new earphone, it call BQEYZ KC2, it's cost more or less the same price range of KZ AS10. I was wondered if could make a review and compare with another earphones like TIN T2, TRN V80, Co-Donguri or KZ ZS10, AS10, or something like that! Thanks I lot!
How does one pronounce that product name?
I don't really understand what you ask me? this is the link of the product:
www.gearbest.com/earphones/pp_009104949583.html?wid=1433363&lkid=13155251&cid=26df1d65-4f02-4e58-98fb-e98ff8e56b15
With foam tips, these sound excellent...
These or CCA C10 , which will you chose for daily listening?
Personally? Neither, I prefer Tin T2.
hello, is there any way to authenticate trn earphones? Preferably online, thanks!
You mean check if they're fakes or not?
bqeyz kc2 vs trn v80 which is good ???
what is the best single song/track to evaluate audio device performance?
One of my go-tos is Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough," so much space in the production, sharp highs and good bass line.
Can you recommend tnv v80 for rock like Rammstein, System of a Down?
Yeah, why not? I don't really use headphones for particular genres honestly. If you want bass + treble and don't mind recessed mids, V80 is great and cheap.
There were problems with the dual pins on the left part of my in ear after 3 days of using it suddenly stop working any help?
Within three days, I'd reach out to get a replacement. But possibly a new cable could help, the cables are pretty common on AliExpress.
Hi, I am Gerardo Calvo from Costa Rica, could you please review either the BGVP DM6 or the Nice HCK DT500
I love your review!!!
I just found this channel and I subbed!, Great content👉more subscribers to come!👏👍
Welcome ✌️
Which one sounds better?
Sony MDR XB50 or TRN V80
Thanks in advance.
Haven't heard the Sony's. But probably those.
what iem should I buy if I prefer to listen to the vocals?
Another vocals lover! IMO, T2 Pro :) But get Comply tips.
Can you choose between TRN V80 and KZ As10 ?
AS10 for me.
How's the isolation? Looking to use it on public transport.
Pretty good 👍 I'd say average for the category, which is to say quite good with a good seal.
Which one should i buy KZ ZS6 or ES4 or Tin audio t2 or TRN V80?
(My budget is around the KZ ZS6)
Of those, Tin T2 is my favorite by far.
I had ZS6 and they were too sibilant for my ears. Purchased M40x and they arent sibilant but ZS6 were suprisingly good for their price.
MERT DUNDAR it actually goes away after 30 hrs, simply changing the EQ will remove it til burn in,is complete. Also it sounds much better on a apple device then a snapdragon one
Foam tips might calm the treble somewhat? They sure are an attractive looking earphone.
BTW, I would love to see a Grado review if you have a pair!
Yeah, foam tips definitely tamed the treble -- I have a pair of Complys I threw on. But I didn't like what they did to the rest of the sound, just made it a bit dull.
Super* Review T2’s probably more my game then, I run from strident treble.
hi man, please tell me what inear do you like more in this world by now if you need to pick just one. what's the name? (it doesn't matter the price)
T2 Pro with Comply foam tips
@@SuperReview thanks :*
Nice video as usual. Try to review the soundmagic e-10c great earphones for the price.
Although didn't watch the video completely but I know it will be good 😂I love your videos!
Theyre are garbage
Sound stage is compressed feels like instruments are all slapping into your face at the same time.
Vocals feels like singers covering their nose. Id rather get final audio e2000
This is better than rha ma 390 which is better than soundmagic e10c
No lmfao
Soundmagic is trash now.
@@hetul784 no. E11c isn't as good as V80 or T2
Soundmagic has lost its magic, e50c owner here :/ getting my t2 in few weeks
"Lateral torsion". Wow. Nice point!
LOL
Can u,please, review tfz t2 galaxy comparing with tfz series2, as 10 and tinaudio t2?
I dunno, I hadn't planned on buying the TFZs. What's interesting about them (besides the looks)?
@@SuperReview they are superb one with super bass and bigger soundstage.some websites recommend it highly, even some users take tfz s2 over tin t2.
are they good for female vocals .. I've read they are not .. could u recommend some good earphone for female vocals please
Ooh, check out the Tin Hifi T2 Pro: th-cam.com/video/pCB3Wg05hAU/w-d-xo.html
Guys tell me pls what difference shure se215 vs trn 80 ?
Any love for the newer TRN BA5?
Kinda getting tired of budget stuff, most of it is roughly the same. Tin T2s or Blons.
trn v80 vs opera factory om1?pls im confuse 😵😵
Mmm, Final E2000 😎
when ur playlist includes michael jackson and queen, then anything you say, I will believe. love trebles too!
LOL, awesome :) Here's a playlist of music I use often in my headphone reviews. I have most of these songs in FLAC on my Walkman: th-cam.com/play/PLeQ8Ry2-4OCRwuCRsTMizLEkSn4muqEmK.html
Is TRN cable compatible with KZ?
Yes.
Try Whizzer A15 Pro, just one driver, but still very nice sound and amaizing housing and design in general
Now that's a good product name.
How does it stack up against sony xb55ap extra bass??
I haven't heard the Sony, hopefully someone else can chime in 👍
Not even close
@@Oun104 Can you elaborate?
Well v80 can be tuned down or you can say are able to equalize a bit not much a bit and sound signature have a warm feeling towards it u can use for long durations
But sound doesnot have a hollow feeling
Regarding xb55
They have good sound
Great lows
Good mids
Very processed highs
And let me explain that no matter what u do no matter how hard u try the treble is sort of weird some would like it me personally i was got weird over it bass is good but its good u can hear it but u would have a feeling thats its somewhat hollow like u can just hear it there is no punch feeling like hollow
Yeah i know sony xb means xtrabass but i dont prefer bass like that some would enjoy it others would argue that its hollow
Sound signature is not warm it has a brightness towards it because of processed highs which cant be tuned down no mater what and they are so high that sometimes u wont feel the bass
Except then that they are great and sony make there equipment for there mobile or amps so if u have that you would get great sound out of it because u might be able to control that treble
Please suggest me a good pair with more focus on bass
Hm, these are probably about as bassy as any IEM I've heard so far. Maybe KZ AS10 is similar / a little more bass.
Oh check these out: th-cam.com/video/6-np1fvcHQQ/w-d-xo.html
@@SuperReview also i am thinking of buying bluedio ufo bt5.0.Have you tried them?
Nope, I haven't tried any Bludedios yet. Check out the channel I linked to, he reviews a lot of headphones like that.
To me V80s are extremely harsh on treble, I can't listen to them for more than a couple of minutes. My favourite aliexpress earbuds are still urbanfun hybrid.
This are great for Metal Music or for Movies are really good. internet radio "amazing", English is not my first language, and the SSSS helps me to listen the details of the English language
Bro among thes e which is the best ~ kz zs6 ,kz zs10 ,trn v80
I haven't heard the ZS6. Between the ZS10 and V80, I prefer the sound of the ZS10 but they don't fit in my ears, so I'd have to go with the V80s and for sure get some foam tips. Have you considered the Final E2000?
Own both Zs6 and trn v80. After burn in trn is the best. Less sibilant and boomines gone. 50 hours of burn in is a must. Bass becomes similar to LZA5 $250.
Fifty hours, dang.
Hey guys does anyone of these IEMs in the vid fit with small ears and small ear cannels
Try Final for small ear cannals.
Sorry to be picky but I will the hook thing on the cables so does it have that if not will the Stif be fine for casual listening and the hook cable
Love to test my IEMs with Janis Ian - breaking silence.
Should i buy 1more triple drivers?
I haven't tried them. What do you want in an earphone? What's your budget?
@@SuperReview bass,i heard 1more has a lot of bass,around 80$
@@GeraltOfRivia69 I haven't heard 1More. But if you want dope bass, maybe try Mee Audio M6 Pro 2nd Gen.
TRN V10 or TRN V80?
ssstill a sssibilant sssounding headphone... lol :D
Another one bites the ears
please review the opera factory products
ZS10s are on sale at GearBest. For 30 bucks it's a steal.
If they stay in your ears :P
Super* Review had to sell them to my friend cause they wouldn’t seal in my ear and going to get the TRNs
who's better trn v80 or kz es4?
Hm, TRN V80 is a more refined sound, but IMO the sibilance is a bit of a killer. If you have some foam tips, it helps a lot. I just got the KZ ES4s, and their sound isn't as refined, but no serious issues with sibilance. I'd personally pick the TRNs, and for sure add some foam tips.
Can you try out the kz es4's
Enough people have asked about them that I just ordered a pair. Should be here Saturday 👍
What a watch do you wear ?
Pebble 2 ✌️
@@SuperReview thx, it's verry interesting !
@@helmutausberlin4762 It's so good, really sad they stopped making them. I just bought another as a backup.
Metal freezes to ears in winter, beware, whats why i cant use 1more 3driver
Oh dang, didn't think of that. Where I live, we have no winter.
lucky u
Bro ,I don't know much about iem so please suggest me a good iem which has a good boomy bass and high clarity, treble etc finally the best of all kz ,trn ,and many ....
Sounds like you want KZ AS10 or TRN V80.
No bro ,I don't mean it I want a best set of iem that's all
Have you considered BGVP DMG?
Bro its costly in my country ...
Maybe put emphasis on the sound quality first. The cable is the least important and cheapest part which is easily swappable.
trn v60 or trn v80
What about t2 pro vs v80????
VERY different sound signatures. I think T2 Pro is way better, but I like clean treble and strong mids. V80 has dipped mids and big bass instead.
@@SuperReview Thanks and by the way I missed t2's for $26 during sale!!😂😂
@@ripaninder.anchla $26!! I paid $40 for mine, still happy with them.
@@SuperReview But I missed them!! Which one should I get t2 vs t2 pro vs v80 vs kc2?? I want a balanced sound with great clarity!
@@SuperReview I am also thinking of Zsn or zsa!!
KZ ZSN vs TRN V80 which sounds better?
Hm, I'd have to go back and compare directly. By my memory, V80 is a bit sharper of a V, more bass + treble emphasis. ZSN is slightly more relaxed, but the treble on the ZSN is more grainy.
can you review the tfz series 2? it's pretty good actually
They look pretty nice. What's their sound signature?
balanced? idk
I think these trn v80s are better than my skull candy inkd earbuds
I haven't heard any Skull Candy headphones. Why do you like V80 better?
Another one bites the ears/dust
Take a shot every time he says metal housing 😂
"Sucker"
dude, you should try the KZ BA10 those are new man all metal housing ;D
I'm pretty interested in them -- but read a review earlier today, sounds like they might be pretty uncomfortable...
there are a lot of division in opinions, some say they are more comfortable than the AS10, thats why your honest opinion should be helpful, some say they are better than Tin audio T2 and sound like the T500 from NiceHck... ;D
Oh interesting... The AS10s are big but fit me OK. Mostly I don't like the cable 😝
@@SuperReview it seems that the cable is mostly the same but is diferent color... Like rose/pink ... Maybe they improve it too... 😁
You need to shove those connectors in till they stop there is a clear spot that is bullies and that is how far they go in
i'm the one who watch review after bought.
The English language is so tricky! If I say, I’m a sucker for all metal housing earphones, which is true. Someone can respond “Haha, you sucker! ;)))
It's not so bad.
TFZ Galaxy T2. 👈🤩👍
One of my nexts 👍
If you love neutral sound stay away from trn v80.
I agree they're not neutral, but I think they're not as colored as some other V-shaped sounds.
@@SuperReview oh , I'm a neutral guy bro, I love my T2 , recently i bought trn v80 because of the hype. But I'm totally disappointed, like you said the mid bass is bit higher ! Vocals are very funny and unnatural. But worth the price , it'll satisfie bass lovers.
You're reviews are honest ! Keep going 👍
I'm a sucker for *_M E T A L_*
Me too!
