I tried the Tekubi & Ago-uchi in a nunchaku sparring match. I didn’t manage to hit anything but I definitely got some use out of the hiding the nunchaku bit. Thanks Kohji!
@@KohjiKatoh my bad. I just subscribed. I thought I did before. Least I could do. Thank you once again, and have a great, aware, and safe weekend, brother 👊
You should start with the soft ones, if I didn't I probably could not walk by today, a full wooden nunchaku falling from your hand to your feet could brake your bones
Very good! Thank you. Helps people do something productive during lockdowns. I made a set/pair of nunchucku in my shed only yesterday. Let the hitting myself commence
Hi Kohji, thank you for the amazing videos. I found them very usefule. In this video particularly I like the Nunchaku you are using so is it possible to give me the dimensions and the length of the string. i'd love to make one like this to practice with..
Hi. If you had to break down number 7 into two strokes how would you describe it. I think I’m doing it correctly. Also what school is this Kata from? I know some of the Matayoshi.
Kohji, this is a phenomenal video. One of the best I have ever seen! Will you ever do an intermediate skills video? I would love to take my training to the next level but there is no Kobudo where I live.
Wow, thank you so much for your compliment! I understand your situation because even in Japan, it's very difficult to find Kobudo dojo. Actually, I have a Tonfa and Sai instructional video but will make videos for intermediate and advanced!
@@KohjiKatoh That is fantastic to hear. I look forwards to the intermediate and advanced Nunchaku videos! I think I will learn a lot from you. Thank you very much for your reply.
Very nice brother, i m too much keenly fond of learning this nunchuku but in my country pakistan there is no accademy or school of this art. Anyhow i will be in touch with you , regards. Shahzad khan from lahore pakistan

Hello Sensei, I need to know the size of the nunchaku.
Thanks for the vídeo!!!!
Hi!
Thank you so much for watching.
My nunchaku is 34cm.
I also have a shorter one which is 31cm.
When I do double Nunchaku, I use the shorter one.
Can you train to fight with this alone ?
Yes, I think so.
You'd better have a partner but you can practice fighting yourself.

Thanks, kid!
Year, there are so many Nunchaku videos because it's a very famous weapon.
I like both flashy movements and traditional movements.
