Hey Sami! I just wanted to let you know how awesome I think your videos are! I’m currently 20 years old and live in a Small town called Heber Utah. Martial arts is something that has been apart of my life forever but I never pursued it. I finally got back into it 2 years ago and it’s been the best decision I think I’ve ever made for my life! I train with a really cool system in Heber called Tora Jutsu (tiger way) And it’s been a life changing experience for me! thank you for the motivation you’ve given me! Don’t let the vids stop 😎
Great instructional vid on how to learn the nunchaku. You made it look really easy must be years of practice. Definitely want to learn how to use one or two. Keep up the good work and hope to more instructional vids 👍👍👍
@@ICET100 it’s a joke because if you had any AirPods earbuds or headphones, the right sides sound is cut off, and he / she was making a joke about how he / she couldn’t hear the right side,
@@ICET100 he / she is saying that their right ear could learn this too, is because his/her left ear technically heard it saying it learned the nunchuck moves, aka personification to his / her left ear, then saying his / her right ear didn’t hear all the information and couldn’t “learn” it which personifies his / her right ear.
First saw nunchucks watching a Bruce Lee movie back n the 70's, today I'm 60 and still chucking. Great self defense exercise......... Never Stop Chucking!
One rebound you either forgot or didn't mention was the neck. Also the shoulder/ side deltoid always worked for me when wanting to switch directions fast. Good intro
So, my son's dad just gave him some nunchucks, they're like 7 chain and he seems to be incredibly interested, and practices quite often... I'm definitely gonna show him this channel, and look into getting him some 3 chain nuns instead... I think the shorter length would definitely help him
Hi. Great instructions. My I make one suggestion. When you show the 2nd movement, going from shoulder to hip and back, I think it would be very beneficial for your students if the could also see a rear view of the chucks hitting your hips as well as the frontal view. This could help your students know the correct angle and area to bounce the chucks off of. Great job. Be water my friend.
Awesome video! I support anyone who practices "traditional" martial arts in an age where MMA has become so commercially successful, and traditional arts like TKD are largely laughed at. I'm a boxer by trade, but it's always exciting to see people like Stephen Thompson and Michael Venom Page utilize traditional techniques that people have trashed on for so many years at the highest levels of MMA competition, i.e. UFC and Bellator.
3 link will be better for you. You will have more control. Take your time and go slowly. There are many things happening as you learn this skill. Expect mistakes. They happen and sometimes hurt but you learn. I recommend learning from Sam and stick with it. Your mind must learn to overcome any fear of hitting yourself. You must also strengthen your wrists, arms, and shoulders. Going slow prevents injuries and avoids severe pain as you learn. Also as you go slowly, your muscles and joints will strengthen.
Hey samery. Do you have any quick tips for my belt exam I am really nervous. So if you or anyone can help I would appreciate it(I’m a green belt going to try and get a blue belt).
YOU GOT THIS!! When I was a yellow belt I was so scared but they made me do it by myself I was 5 and I got a gold metel so if I did that YOU CAN BUT EVEN AS A BLUE OR BLACK BELT YOU STILL GOT THIS!! BELIEVE IN YOUSELF
I watched some bruce lee video just wondering.. the way bruce lee hold his nunchucks mostly at the end or in the middle esp when he fight.. but most videos i watch in youtube they hold their nunchucks near the chain ..hmm im wondering if brucelee nunchucks hold more difficult?
I can already see myself hitting my face with the nunchucks and the family thinking my husband beats me up 😍 Lol just so they can find out my dumbass did something stupid again and not be surprised🤣
Because she has no clue on how to use these as a weapon, obviously! Nothing wrong with using nunchaku as a circus implement, but the distinction between circus and martial arts should be made clear, instead of blurring the lines like this woman does, by posing with a black belt in front of a punching bag when she obviously has no clue about nunchaku as a weapon.

WELL OKAY THEN
First saw nunchucks watching a Bruce Lee movie back n the 70's, today I'm 60 and still chucking. Great self defense exercise......... Never Stop Chucking!
Are you for freaking real?
Where's the self-defense in this?
This is circus, and bad one at that.
Dude, you are awesome! This is the best
One rebound you either forgot or didn't mention was the neck. Also the shoulder/ side deltoid always worked for me when wanting to switch directions fast. Good intro
I think this is enough for beginners. I'm just starting. Don't want to be overwhelmed. I think she is taking it at a good speed, for people like me.
Thank's for this tutorial 👍
This is great I needed some double nunchuks moves.
So, my son's dad just gave him some nunchucks, they're like 7 chain and he seems to be incredibly interested, and practices quite often... I'm definitely gonna show him this channel, and look into getting him some 3 chain nuns instead... I think the shorter length would definitely help him
I bought some at Dollar Tree today & here I am.
Good introduction to Samy’s full nunchucks course. She’s very professional and a great instructor.

I've one too for her, but that would be: stop making these terrible videos!

For a beginner, is it better to start off with 3 link or better to use the
7 links ? How do the two designs function in comparison?

Hola samery moras vengo de tu canal en español quería saber si pudieras enseñar todas las formas básicas en tu canal en español. gracias
Is a 10 chain nunchucks overkill for a biginner?
Awesome ma’am
Wow, great control!
You make it look so easy
Cant wait for more nunchaku tutorials
Is the price for your nunchuks for a single one or is it for a pair of two nunchuks like you have in the video?
A pair of two :)

Why hold it so high need the chain? Why not focus on it as a striking weapon?
Because she has no clue on how to use these as a weapon, obviously!
Nothing wrong with using nunchaku as a circus implement, but the distinction between circus and martial arts should be made clear, instead of blurring the lines like this woman does, by posing with a black belt in front of a punching bag when she obviously has no clue about nunchaku as a weapon.

You should go deeper into basic hand and wrist placement.
