The 2023 Honda ZR-V is a mid-size SUV you've probably never heard of. Of course, Honda is a segment mainstay with the CR-V, but now it's grown in size to the point that the ZR-V has come along to slot in beneath and offer family buyers a smaller option.
With the HR-V small SUV below it, the ZR-V has the tough job of combining the best of both worlds to challenge heavyweights like the Mazda CX-5 and Toyota RAV4, among others. And with a petrol engine and a 'self-charging' hybrid powertrain on offer, it's got a fair chance.
