      Hi JK.
Thank you so much for your reply and a comment like that induces to make others…
On my TH-cam Channel I have a fair number of videos on motorhome issues but you would be surprised how few replies you get. Again thank you so much for taking the time to reply and I hope you are able to resolve your heater issue. Regards Peter

Great video. Question...I want to clean/inspect the burners. If I just remove the large clamp and remove the 10l steel water container can I get access without removing the unit from the van? Thanks

Hi Terry. Personally I would not do that as it will be a devil of a job trying to get at the screws that hold the burner and there is not usually much room to work around them when they are fitted into the van. Anyway as long as you have all round access you could do it but as I said it’s not the way I would go. Regards Peter

Informative video thanks ! Do you know the specific resistance on gas valve coil? It's duoble coil, in my case 9 ohms on first coil and 290 ohms on second, to me looks not normal?

Sorry can’t help on that but I would use a 12v supply through a 21w bulb and flash the contacts which should fire the valve but it’s up to you how to proceed - choice is your my friend.
      Regards Peter

Hi again. I have to say it’s not a small job and they make them with a view they never need a service. For service and repair you can’t beat the old wall mounted water heaters and the only thing that ever went on them was the gas diaphragm which was so easy to replace. Makes me wonder if it’s really progress. Good luck with your repairs. Regard Peter

Great Video so helpful, this has to be a keeper for when I need it! Have you ever changed the element or taken it out? I need to put mine back in but the element is curved and I don't know if the curve of the element should curve downwards or upwards. Thank you for showing the gas side in such great detail!

Hi there. So glad you found my video helpful and thanks for taking the time to comment. Regarding the element - carefully remove the old element which will show the configuration the new element should go in. Ensure the washers and seals are new as the gaskets from the old element will be compacted and may not seal.
      Regards Peter
