Hi Charles. Just stumbled over your video - a little bit slowly going indeed, but hey, it gave me some good point I‘ll consider for the future and will banding up my pouches trying your method (until now I’m cuffing what works nicely). Keep on going doing videos - I like them.
With my nylon pouches its allot easier ,because instead of holes on the sides of the pouch. You have well stitched para-chord loops on the sides of the pouch ,I shoot them all the time and they very durable and really cheap to make.
+Steve Brettell I am not sure I understand what you are asking. Perhaps you mean to put the loops at the ends of the bands around the fork tips. In any case, I always band naturals in an over the top configuration, so I have no personal experience with what you suggest. By all means, give it a try and see how it works for you. Cheers ..... Thank you. I don't know why I want to do this, it just is curiosity I guess I normally band Naturals over the top as well. I've never seen them done in the other way except with the split tip. The first slingshot I ever get out was made by a Cherokee Indian on a reservation in Tennessee. It was a split stick that had been steamed into a y, and the ends slotted to take the bands. I was about 4 years old.
+Hunter CampZ If you are in the US, you can get them from Amazon or Ebay or from your local Staples or Office Depot. Look for Alliance Sterling #105 or #107. The 107s are longer than the 105s. I prefer to 105s because they are just the right length. The 107s are longer than needed, so there is some waste.

You can also get Sparco brand 107 bands from Walmart dot com. In Canada you can get Sparco 107 bands from Best Buy dot ca. And you can get Alliance Sterling or Sparco 107 bands from Amazon dot ca. Avoid the Alliance crepe bands ... they are crap. Sparco and Alliance Sterling are about the same.
Thankyou very much i have been looking for band that i can use as an alternative to tera band ,and latex. I use my slinshots to hunt small game and rodents.
sq hunter Those 107 and 105 rubber bands will not be as fast as bands cut from Theraband Gold, or similar exercise bands. But they handle heave weight ammo very well. For small game, I would recommend ,44 or .45 lead or .5 steel. If you can cast your own, the lead would be the way to go. Slingshots kill mostly by blunt force trauma ... not by penetration. So go for head or neck shots ... body shots will just injure the game.
@@leecoomber3877 I have done it with Theraband gold and with a variety of office bands and never had a split. Maybe you are using old or degraded band material.

Would it work to put the fork loops over the round fork tips of a natural, to facilitate TTF style shooting?

No doubt you will live to be over 100. You will have to to get anything done with your life.

Nearly all flat bands will just split .
That is certainly not my experience ... nor the experience of most on The Slingshot Forum.
