at 1:20 where he hits the bolster you just need a multi tool and decent metal blade plunged into the same place it will cut straight through the metal tab that the lock goes through and the lid is open in seconds
I think you could cut less with an angle grinder and get that open in a couple of minutes. You could weld some thicker metal around the lock area to slow a grinder attack. When your paying good money you shouldn't have to fix it yourself
I drilled the "anti drill" lock out on mine in less than 10 minutes, all it is is a 70mm disk lock bolted to the lid inside, what moron would try and beat a van vault to death to get in?
I agree the box does slow you down from breaking into it, but what use is a box that can be removed from the van? Then again, if someone really wanted your tools, they might reason it is a lot easier to nick the van.
Don't matter what grinder you got ! It's the blade that matters , an I'm sure most tool thiefs aren't running round with angle grinders in there back pockets !
watched a few of your vids. well presented and entertaining but short on quality content. i.e the Makita Bike, you didn't actually say if it was any good! This is clumsy too. I get that they probably gave you the vault so didn't want you to get in. but you could have drilled the "anti drill" lock to see how it works. And your angle grinder looked pants. I think it would put off most thieves but I also think they would approach it with more guile than you did!
Probly a really daft thought but could you coat the vault in some sort of grease so if the do use a grinder or multi tool it would just slide off just a thought and know maybe stupid
Rubbish. Dont think these guys could even break into a sweat. My apologies to Van Vault but unfortunately they are not worth a penny i have had mine broken into twice, once by me as the key snapped in half (took me 1 minute and im no lock smith) and once by the scum bags thieves. Either dont waste your money on one or Van Vault please make a better design.
Complete jokers - just hitting it with a hammer nowhere near the lock?, I can open these in less than 3 minutes with brute strength .Grab a corner and bend it up its 1.5 mm steel lol there a joke - the only one with any guts and withstood me hitting, drilling, and using a crow bar was armorgard tuff box - now that is a box to break a sweat out on.
Those builders are either not trying hard enough or just simply clueless......Tell them there's a bacon sandwich inside and see what happen!
Disk cutter, cut square in top of the lid and there in

Muppets see what he did with that crowbar swinging it like like he was playing golf jokers
I'm buying one today. 👍🏼

Joss Cues they can be bolted to the floor

You set off muppets!. What use was denting it? Or just hitting it with the crow bar?? All you need then is to get a cordless grinder....
a hammer, a drill, a thin bar about 6 inches long and a pair of plyers , takes 30 seconds
What site is that???? using a 230v grinder rather than 110v with no PPE in place. Try the same test with a Hilti grinder it will rip that box to bits.
looks like there is no chance of us getting into our van vault now we have lost the dratted keys!
easy to get into one of these without damaging it
Hahaha unless you no out to brake the weakest point the lock 🤣
Or just drill the lock, the London fire brigade are not well equipped

Yes very stupid! Now sit down
@@Golly87 was just an idea
What a load of BS, Van vaults are crap. Mine got broke into last week and emptied last week, they sheared the latch off the front of the box.
