I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that English is probably not your first language yet you speak English better than any English-speaking American I know. Thank you very much for this video. Very helpful!
Haviing many other cameras and this one from the day 1 of release. Absolutly stunning camera if you know limitations (like extreme low light). Overall highly recommended. The microscopic con that need special charger (included) and not just USB-C charging, and regarding lens hood it's mostly impossible to use filters without removing the hood. But that very minor things.
What a stupid comment ?! How you can know about your new camera on the day when you purchased camera? Maybe you need some times to use camera and then decide that you like or not ?
@@texasranger2398 I watched and read reviews and tried it in store prior to purchase. The value I got from this video was for the walkthrough portion which helped me get used to it a lot quicker. Hopefully that's not too difficult for you to understand.
With this kind of camera, there is no lock exposure button. As long as you switch to manual mode on the side of the camera, you have effectively locked the exposure because for it to change, you have to change it yourself.
Hey boet, 2 quick questions on this camera please. Is there a quick start on quick on function that lets the camera boot up faster? Then the fast zoom, is there any way to set this to permanently on? I set my assign button 5 to fast zoom function but would love it to be on all the time Thanks a bunch
Try this: Navigate to Quick Start from the Menu button. Set it to on. Then keep the camera in standby mode by closing the LCD monitor or retracting viewfinder. When you open the viewfinder, the camera will be ready to record without long boot up. As for the quick zoom, I will do some research on that when I get hold of the camera...I currently don't have access to it.
I bought this camcorder and am very happy with it. My question is: Can this camcorder record with a 1 tb Sandisk pro card? Or is there a limit to the memory card amount that can be used?
@@Sketchrcat Sure! Working well without problems. I'm using samsung micro sd (!) with sd adapter (included to card) and have no any issues in any settings. "Samsung Evo" I aasume, they changed to newer model, I have green and blueish ones. So even on cheap card it's good at max settings. But probably better to buy 2x 256. I'm think it could work and on 1tb and 2tb, but just don't have these big card, and in general it's not very needed, that huge...
I did what you told me to on the assigning the iris wheel but I still don’t see any difference when I move the wheel back-and-forth do I have to be sit in other settings and by the way I love this video
If after changing the settibg in the menu to iris, you go back and move the ring and it no longer zooms the lens, then you have successfully changed it. Now just make sure the iris is in manual mode by pressing the iris button. Also make sure the main auto-manual switch on the side is set to manual.

HC-X2000. Eu prefiro por causa das saídas HDMI SDI completas, filtro ND integrado, e capacidade de transmissão ao vivo. Does that make sense? Tried using the translate feature.
Infinity focus is not a setting as such. It is more of a focusing operation. What you do is flick the same switch up and it will spring back to the manual position. By flicking the switch you have performed infinity focus.
I connected the camcorder to the PC to transfer the video files. But the PC does not see the camera. Where did I go wrong? This is my first contact with this video camera.
I personally have not used in such a situation but the form factor is perfect for steady hand-held shots. It is rather small and light. Generally the heavier camcorders are smoother.
Hi, I've been using this model in the mach loop and at Lakenheath etc, the image stabilisation isn't amazing but with time lm getting better with it, l use it fully auto with an ext mic, lm more than happy with the results now, and will hopefully upload some footage soon when my new laptop arrives, l no elwyn r uses the Sony ax53 model with great results and dafydd (both mach loop photographers) uses this model in the 1500 version, he had the same issue with stabilisation and was looking for the Sony ax53 when l spoke to him at the loop, soon as I upload my content I'll send a link you could judge from there as its an expensive buy 👍🏻
@@THREEo3 "the image stabilisation isn't amazing" - I have gimbals and many other expensive cameras and stabilisation on this one is the best. Absolutely fantastic image stabilisation! (if you did not incidently turn it off 🤣)
Yes it is though these days I would recommend a hybrid camera especially if you are small shooter because with hybrids, you can switch to photos easily and so shoot both photos and video. I don’t like its low light performance so if you do a lot of indoor shooting with no extra lights, that might be a challenge.
Excellent - thanks for this comprehensive feature list
Glad it was helpful!

Is there a way to lock the exposure? Many cameras have the AEL button. But i could not find on this camera.

It looks like the maximum capacity is 128GB but I've never tried using larger capacity cards.
512gb works great!
