Have you experienced any hissing issues with the external mic input? I have just received the camera and I noticed when I plugged any mic or any 3.5 cable into the external audio input, there is a constant hissing sound that isn't coming from the mic or cable. It looks like a camera issue and isn't fixable with gain settings.
Hello, may I ask which special official software can be used to import the video recorded by Panasonic HC-X1500 into the computer? Copying directly with a card reader I am afraid that the long video will be split into multiple files by 2G each.
After a few months I have sold my HC X2000 , .......not my Camcorder to be honest ....too many negatives to mention of the Camera I don't want to upset the Panasonic people ...but the designer of Panasonic should Go back to the drawing board and change heaps of things ....... So went back to Sony again and much more happy with these .

Check out the ISE2020 playlist on the channel home page - this is all shot on the X2000, it is at a trade show where light and sound levels can vary massively from one second to the next!
Can this camcorder output via HDMI (4K or other) while it is recording in 4K? Looking for a camera/camcorder that can support this additional use case for live streaming
You need to look at the XLR audio settings, which is opposite to the XLR inputs on the handle. You should be able to change it to output audio on both the left and the right.
@@HX56Music yes I do. My XLR mic is in input 2 and the Ch2 buttons are set as follow: Input 2 - 48V Input 2 Audio level - Auto Volume is in the middle. I was looking for other settings on the Menu's Audio options for xlr - nothing in there.
Just checked on our demo model and it looks like it is fixed. Can't see any way of removing it without removing some screws.... which we wouldn't advise!
I just got a HC-X1500, and my lens hood can come off. Just push the release button on the back of the hood (conveniently labelled PUSH), and the hood can be twisted and removed.
If you look in the menu's you will find that this camcorder has a 32x iZoom (800mm) which is just as good as the normal zoom! It;s a pity you never bovered to get a bit more information about this camcorder!

Sorry Petru.... its a quick kit overview in a quiet location before we had to catch a flight home. Hopefully you got some information that was useful and will excuse our lack of cinematic brilliance on this occasion :-)

@@gidonzdI guess you never heard of constructive criticism. I have a hard time caring about a review from someone who shoots a crappy looking video. I agree with Petru B. Maybe it could have been stated better.
@@rickbogan4631 All in favour of constructive criticism but if there is a choice of not shooting an overview video at all (and ultimately that is all it is) or shooting one in the best location we could find so you can at least hear it (we agree it is far from ideal) then we'll always choose the latter. Heading to NAB in Vegas next month where we have a bit more time on our hands so we'll take on board all comments and try a little harder to find a good location for the kit overview video.
Sagen Sie mir, die Kamera verfügt nicht über die erforderliche Sprache. Wo und wie kann ich sie installieren? Vielen Dank im Voraus
Great review. Thanks for doing it. I would have loved to see the footage from the zoom you did. Anyway keep up the good work.

Not at all, we just insert the SD card into a MacBook Pro or card reader and the file is one complete file, not split.

Do you recommend any particular sd cards for this camera?
We use Sony 128gb 95mb/s class 10 SD XC cards

We used an Atomos Ninja V on top as a backup recorder and also recorded on internal SD cards.
Thanks for the video.
I own that camera now using XLR microphone but the audio is recorded on one side only, left or right. Is it normal?
