Man I really want to send you flowers!! This helped me soooo much. I always struggle with my sd cards they don’t work so often and never really knew how to format them. Tomorrow I need to film an important sport match and I was so stressed that I needed to buy a new sd card tomorrow because I don’t have much time. Now my sd card with 85 minutes is working again so I don’t have to buy a new one, thank you so much!!
I’m really glad this helped. I also have a video that explains all the different kinds of SD cards if you are still having issues. All the best with your shoot. Let me know how it went.
Thank you so much Makaya. I've had my HX-X2000 for over 2 years and still have not used its great functions because I'm a newbie on the camcorder. I almost gave up on the cam until I came across your video. Thank you for your tutorial. I subd.
Thanks! I've just bought an HC-X1500 and was planning to ensure I understood every setting. This is very helpful! ¡Muchas gracias! sí hay más videos como este, me seria de mucha utilidad!!!
Thanks for this video - I have two Panasonic cameras - HPX 170 (2009) and HC-X2 (2023)... i can't find in X2 option which was in HPX170 and it calls MARK CLIP - this function we could set to USER button on body of camera and quickly mark in meta info of video clip. It was very usefull. Do you know where is it in these new cameras? thank you
I believe it is called Shot Mark in this camera. I don't have access to it right now but try this and let me know if it works: You can assign this function to either User Button 1 or User Button 2. From the menu, navigate to the USER BUTTON settings in the USER MENU. Select the desired button 1 or 2 and assign it to SHOT MARK.
@@princejbc2003 Do you have any recommendations for a padded shoulder bag that the camera will fit in? Preferably from Sony, Canon, Panasonic, or any other well known brand.
Thank you. I’m glad you found the video useful. Are you looking for a video to livestream with this particular camera or just general live-streaming on TH-cam?
You said that it does not charge the battery while recording. Does this mean that the camcorder does not use the battery while it's plugged in and recording? Does this mean that I can have it plugged in while recording, the battery won't be used, but if the camera suddenly gets unplugged will it switch to the battery without any issue or loss in footage? I was looking into getting this camcorder because I record footage sometimes that can be longer than 4 hours, and I usually just plug in my camcorder, press record, and let it record everything.
Hi, can you recommend the best DB for wireless microphone. And what are the best settings. As I am using microphone Sennheiser G4 and when I recording Indore I can hear some noises. However I didn't set the lowcut to be ON. I am not sure which are best settings for it
If you have a meter, then always aim to keep your levels between -6 and -12 dB. If you are hearing noise, it could be interference. Try scanning for a better frequency. I have a video on how to do that on the G-4
What is the highest resolution recording mode of this camera? I need to record a dance choreography indoors but we will have good light. Which recording mode do you recommend? I would like the image to be nice and sharp.
Which microphone do you recommend on this camcorder for outdoor filming. I am using the Panasonic X1500, and i want to buy the handle but i do not know which microphone i want to buy.
I personally like Sennheiser microphones so something like the Sennheiser MKE600 will be great. This is directional, shot-gun microphone with an XLR connection that will fit the connections on the handle. You also won't go wrong with Panasonic's own range of shot-gun mics like the Panasonic AG-MC200G Unidirectional Microphone which is also a shot-gun mic but is shorter in form factor.
It really depends what you want to record and where your mic will be placed. Rode, Audio Technica and Sennheiser all make really good directional shot gun mics.
The camera has a 24x normal or optical zoom. If you want to zoom beyond that then you need to switch on the i-zoom or digital zoom function and that allows you to zoom to 48x. The downside is that the image quality is not as good beyond the normal zoom range. Go to camera menu then SW mode then Zoom and set iZoom to ON.
Hi Makayas. New subscribee here. Can I use this camcorder for my zoom meetings? If so, can please help how? I can't connect this cam ( Panasonic HCX2000 ) to my laptop
This camera is actually designed to have streaming capabilities direct from the camera via the USB connection port on the front of the camera. What is the problem when you connect it to your laptop?
I purchased this camera from Amazon AU, so far it is nice. I own a DVX200 too.

@@princejbc2003 THank you for answere - yes I also expect that option there -- but .. unfortunately there isn't :(
I want a camcorder that is point and record in full auto mode. Is this a good choice?
its not a bad camera to run on full auto, but it does have a tendency to rely in its GAIN, so footage can sometimes be noisy.
Found this video super helpful! thank you.

@@CamcorderHomeVideos I personally have a Vanguard bag but any padded camera bag that has partitions that you can reconfigure should work.

Does the onboard mic sound the same when you're behind the camera as it does when you're in front of it
No it doesn’t because the mics are positioned at the front.
@@princejbc2003 I read there was a setting where you can set the microphone to wide which I thought would be omnidirectional 😭😭😭
@wildwoodtop I will have to check that one out. I personally never use onboard camera mics for my productions.

I would have to check that. I’ve never unplugged the power while it’s running with a battery connected.

4K at 100 to 200Mb/sec but you will need to get the highest speed card and size you can.

How do you get more zoom

Does it has night vision capability?
I don't think it does.

how to you download video clips that you've shot to windows laptop?
There is a USB port on the side of the camera. You connect that to your computer and it will be able to see your camera like a hard drive.
