I have a 2012 petrol 3.5L Pajero. Since I bought it 2 years ago I've had this very issue. The dealer told me there's nothing to do (aside from replacing the mirrors), and so did a couple of workshops. So I'd been dealing with this nuisance until I saw your video. Thank you so much!
Stories like this are what keeps me doing what I do! Thank you so much for sharing your experience, I really appreciate it, and I'm glad it helped you solve a long-standing problem!
Thank you. I only got my 2012 Pajero a couple of weeks ago, and this afternoon I blew the mirror off its mounts when I was at the car wash. I managed to get it back into place with the top clips, but didn’t know what to do with those side clips
Glad it was helpful! I found after this that the mirror glass can be fairly easily prised off, and that might make it easier to adjust those springs. Good luck!
There are a few things about the Paj that really bothers me and this is definitely one of them! Me and my dad's pajero does the same thing. Both also have the Rattle in the gear stick plastic cover thing. Both easy fixes but you'd think mitsi would iron out these problems eventually? Dads model is 2020 but alas, still all the same gremlins
Yeah I agree, I think they hit about 2016 and stopped developing it past tweaks to the infotainment system, presumably while they worked out if the model was going to continue. If you haven't already, check out my "Top 5 Pajero Peeves" series as there are a few other pet hates in there! th-cam.com/play/PLY9DsfXyOtbINuiAg_oVbon4D0_0D5lon.html
