- It's been 2 months since I purchased the microsoft surface laptop 5 so heres an update on how i'm liking it so far. I made a pros and cons list to help you decide if you should get the laptop or not.

Turn auto brightness off in display settings and that will stop
I bought the Surface Laptop 5 13.5" with the Core i5, 8gb RAM, and 512gb SSD. In Sage Green. Wished I would have gotten it in 16gb RAM. Just use it plugged in most times. Very little portable operation. I'm too old to have used a computer in college and have always been curious. Do you have the ability to plug in your laptop while in class, just in case the battery goes dead? Oh, on the brightness, I have gone into settings and dechecked the auto brightness setting(change brightness automatically when lighting changes). It also drives me crazy.

Hello, 8 to 10 hours batt? How much brightness you have? Me I'm using full brightness and only gives me 3 hours of battery upon stress testing the laptop. I got my Surface laptop 5 yesterday.

Hey i bought surface laptop 5 last month and geekbench scores were best and similar to others videos but when it came to cinebench r23 so the multi score was 6000 (too low) compared to otheres surface laptop 5 they had around 7000 multi core how it is possible
My surface laptop 5 i bought it last month and when i hold it so the upper lid makes noise like there is nothing under that part and when i open it so sometimes there it gives a small noisy sound
