    Cognitive therapy was a big help for me. I got it at my local clinic. I asked for it instead of the usual prescription pills that most everybody asks for. Many people want instant relief without doing the learning & the work. Then they complain about tricky doctors & hospitals. I took responsibility for myself. And in addition to many other projects & experiments, I made great progress in evolving mentally & emotionally.

    Thank you for shining a light at the end of the tunnel, where it seemed like there was nothing but darkness. So many people in so much pain, we all need to hear this immediately. Imagine if we all did this.

    How to deal with emotions:-
    1. Responsibility - dont be a victim,dont blame someone else,these are your emotions
    2. Witness - recall/remember the xp, hear the conversation play out in your head,feel your body - in one of the 7 chakras there will be discomfort
    3. Label - dont give a label that makes you victimized, use emotionally intelligent words like i was angry,frustrated,resentful - this is taking responsibility
    4. Express - describe the situation in 1st person - your point of view, 2nd person - the "enemy" , 3rd person - someone who is neutral. This will diffuse the emotional charge in your body
    5. Share - share with someone you trust, you must have such persons in your life
    6. Release - do it via a ritual, burn/flush the piece of paper in which you expressed yourself, do deep breathing yoga {very easy to do}
    7. Celebrate - celebrate the release with some fun activity
    You will get used to these 7 steps before you know it. Gradually you'll have the power to pause before you react

      Thank you Kumar, he speaks so hesitantly and slowly that I lose concentration and understanding, really boring slug speed and timidity (I am so sick and weak and need to hear well-prepared, strong, confident and energetic and annoying to waste our time, prepare Dr Chopra, please! You write better than you speak. My mess and crisis activates, I want composure. eeehh, aah, aaa. - complaining as he says not to blame anyone for what I feel, hahaha! it's not too bad, I just have lost 40 years of my life on often unprofessional health care mistreatments, deceptions, malignancy, stupidity, so am exhausted and deadly stressed and alarmed in the urgency of needing healing or at least relief and sleep.

    Dear Deepak, I consider this video to be one of your most profound lessons. It flowed very smoothly and your gentle spirit is a true blessing. Thank you for all that you do to enlighten the world. I still struggle with the concept that we create our reality, especially since I'm sure there isn't a soul alive that wishes to struggle or have pain in their lives. This concept can also cause shame when we consider that we are causing our own hardships. Yet I have such true respect for your teachings, that I will consider the possibility of this becoming truth. It is my desire to learn more about how to truly become a sorcerer and as the late & great Wayne Dyer so succinctly taught us "...sorcerers have this idea that there’s a source in the Universe from which all things are intended, and sorcerers call this “intent” and that all of us are connected to it..."
    Much love to you 💖 Namaste

    • @SanjayCPatel
      @SanjayCPatel 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      You are correct, Rachal. In yoga, you are only advised to share your thoughts and vulnerabilities with someone you can trust absolutely, and certainly not with a person who has their own emotional issues - which includes most people even though they smile outwardly. I would not advise you to share your 'deep' stuff with anyone. You need to face it yourself. This is the point of genuine introspection. You have to vanquish your own demons with your own sword. This is a more permanent and satisfying inner transformation. Namaste

    My heartfelt thanks and deep gratitude for the knowledge and solutions u impart .
    I have been searching and asking a question to which I have not got a satisfactory reply
    Please give me your input on " If aatma or aatman is a child or part of paramatma and after death of the body it goes back to paramatma or rebirth --- why is death scary? Why the aatman doesnot have a happy sanskaar of meeting its Source -- even those most suffering bodily many times don't want to die ?
    Bhagwad Gita says that soul changes the body as the body changes the clothes --- but it's not same because when body changes clothes body is there and both new and old clothes are there but when soul changes body( similar to clothes ) neither the soul is to be seen nor the new body and every thing changes. So where is the similarity ?
    Please give me your wise input -- will be very grateful 🙏🏻🙏🏻

    Dear Mr. Chopra, It would be nice if you got some sleep, dressed appropriately, did not sit in front of a rated R, erotic depiction and used a camera that does not invert the image. Reading the title of your book backwards was fun though. Where does the cosmic self originate and how do we know if anything good come out of it, if anything at all?

    Deepak is a fraud. If you yourself are intune you can feel how lost he is,how nothing really makes sense. When people are truely awakened Deepak described them as mentally ill. No true teacher would do this.

      He makes complete sense to me. Our emotions and behaviors are our responsibility.

    • @eleojay401
      @eleojay401 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, what is really a "truely awakened" person? What makes you capable to determine who such a person is? Deepaks core message is very in tune with the life wisdom of buddhism, which is that there is no such thing as a person. The feeling of being a "person" is an illusion, and you can check it out for yourself by observing from a space of pure consciousness. Your thoughts are not who you are; its a program from the past. If you want to be a slave of the past, just repeat what you did yesterday. To become awakened you must come in contact with the stillness that underlies all your superficial activities. Your mind is like a barrel organ, that keeps playing the same tune day in day out, year after year, because it is an automatic mechanism that has no connection with the essence of what you are. The only objective truth we can be hundred percent sure of, is that there is an experience of "being", that the "lights" are on, or something is happening. Words are just pointers to a deeper reality, so dont get to caught up in them. By being in the moment, without thinking, is just a technique to be used to get in contact with the stillness behind everything. Detatch from thinking and observe what happens.
