i can't wait to get to this one!! daisy jones is def my favorite, but i liked evelyn hugo as well. I'm glad you liked it!! I'm even more excited to read it now!!
Definitely my favorite is Daisy Jones and The Six, that book has a place in my heart and soul. Following by The Seven Husband for Evelyn Hugo, and the Malibu Rising. The thing with this new book is that the other two books produced in me a feeling that took me somewhere, which is a distinctive that the author has. Malibu Rising was fun, I liked the story, but it doesn't have that transcendental touch of the other stories. Pd: Sorry is there something wrong, but English is not my first language :)
Your English is great! I understand what you mean, Taylor Jenkins Reid has a very distinctive way of writing. I love how she has the ability to transport you to a different place. It's a shame you didn't get that feeling with Malibu Rising but glad you still liked the story 🙂
1.Evelyn Hugo(5 stars) 2.Daisy Jones-audiobook(5 stars) 3.Malibu Rising(5 stars) 4.Maybe in Another Life(4 stars) 5.One True Loves(4 stars) 6.After I Do(3 stars) 7.Forever Interrupted(3 stars) I'm sure the audiobook for Daisy Jones pushes it past Malibu Rising for me, it was just so well done with its cast of narrators.
Definitely not my sort of read but I'm so glad you enjoyed it! And I love using cawpile. I need to find a way to make it work for non-fiction books as well
Yeah I never know how to rate non-fiction books! If I listen to them as an audiobook then I'll usually rate based on the narration but otherwise I really struggle 😅
that’s how i rate if a book is historical fiction or not. If it’s set after i was born it’s not. So Malibu Rising was definitely not historical fiction for me 🙈😂. Was really disappointed in MR though.
Oh no I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with Malibu Rising! I once heard someone ask if a book set in the early 2000s would count as historical fiction and that made me feel old 😳😂
Absolutely love the content you're putting out. I saw your tier-ranking fantasy books content a while ago and forgot to subscribe and lost you for a bit. So glad to have found my way back. :-) Also, I love Taylor Jenkins books but I heard mixed reviews about this one. But it sounds good, need to check it out.
Thank you so much! I haven't seen many reviews for Malibu Rising yet but I'll be interested to see what people think once it's released, I have a feeling it's going to be really popular this summer!
I loveeeed Evelyn Hugo but i still haven't picked up any other of her books maybe because i am scared that will not be so good xD I l feelt the same :O i still want to see some of Evelyn movies.... Well after this i need to read all her books xD great review!

@@GriffReads I use the writing style mixed with the information but that doesn't quite fit into cawpile haha
