    Hello, hello!
    I am Ruchika Sharma! I teach history for a living (the idea to blend makeup and history was incidentally suggested by a student :)). I am pursuing my PhD in History from the Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. Previously, Ive also completed my MPhil and Masters in History also from the Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.

    I apologise to say that at @8:46 your cuteness and Joly personality is at the best + explaining the history while doing makeup is remarkable demonstration of multitasking. Women Power 💪

    Hi ruchika, I had one query, are there any linguistic evidence found in mundigak? Like seals in harappa? That might give insight into evolution of indus script. I always thought Harappan civilization seems pretty developed meaning cosmopolitan culture and international trade etc. But that means some kind of rural economy must be there to support it. That could be there before harappan civilization came into its full glory. Civilization that preceded indus valley can may fill the gaps that are there regarding harappan civilization such as linguistic, cultural and societal information.

    • @eyeshadowetihaaswithruchika
      @eyeshadowetihaaswithruchika  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes there are a few seals found here. But to say that the writing on the seals of the IVC is a script is a very dicey affair. It's most probably a system of notation like abacus, not a script

    Ruchika your research is great. You are really doing a great work. Iconoclast 😊
    But if you don't mind this makeup is destroying the seriousness of your work . Your informations are scholarly so comedy like makeup is damaging.Keep it up😊😊😊

    I must first express my appreciation for your interview/ talk on Lallantop. That lead me to your channel to which I subscribed and saw some videos. Your knowledge and elocution is exemplary. But I do not agree with the make up idea which is distractive. So also are your costumes at times, to be frank.
    I am writing from Cuttack, former capital of Odisha, not far from where Ashoka fought his battle and the Ratnagiri , Dhauli and Udaygiri caves!

    I really like these videos where we are talking about real historical studies. Mostly i find fraud absurd claim videos and feel hopeless
    Please make videos on harappa and other civilisation around 3000bc. Id suggest if you dont mind, to make such educational videos in hindi, with mostly pictures of excavations and the artifacts dug, along with many studies and articles published. Also, i like the videos with authentic pictures flooded in the video most of the time and mostly narrator in background with light background music. Since harappa and vedic period is my favorite topic and politics has ruined historical studies, please make one like "soch mangal mohak" style. I hardly get to watch such authentic videos
