This feels like the ultimate black bay design it’s so refined. I had a 58 sold it… got a pelagos 39 sold it and now I have the bb54 and am blown away. It’s absolutely perfectly proportioned and charming
After trying out I immediately put my name on the waiting list. This watch makes me not wanting the Rolex OP and explorer 1 anymore. This is probably the watch to end my watch collection journey.
One year of ownership and I am still loving this watch. I must have tried on 20+ watches since purchase and nothing has given me that same vibe. Excellent on bracelet, NATO or leather
6.5 inch wrist. I tried it, loved it, bought it. It’s lovely. Subtle but special. It is probably more niche than the 58 and I expect that’s partly why they are harder to get hold of.
Maybe not for everyone but I agree that this is the best BB thus far, in my opinion. Have a small 6.25 wrist and this is almost perfect. Got mine a week ago and couldn't be happier.
@@RabbitWatchShop yes. That was my concern at first as 3 people had issues getting the right fit. Took out 4 links and adjusted the Tfit to the tightest setting. Wears perfectly.
I needed the Uncle Seiko half link, otherwise it was either fully closed with an extra link and slightly loose or fully open without an extra link and slightly tight. Now I have a perfect fit and full range of the T Glide. BTW, the Uncle Seiko half link for the BB58 and BB54 are identical 👍🏼
You are dead on! Beautiful designed, perfect proportion. I have it on a handmade alligator strap with original end links and t-fit clasp, and it looks amazing 🤩 cheers
Here is why I think the 58 is by far the nicer Tudor. There is a warm charm to the 58 coming from the gilt bezel. It has a nice pop of color from the red Triangle that is also found on the Rolex Big Crown and the large crown makes it very distinctive. The 58 design borrows cues from Rolex/Tudors of past without being an exact copy. Also, at 39mm it sits comfortably on most wrists. Take away all those unique characteristics and your left with a rather dull watch…54.
Hi Michael, thanks for sharing your opinion and giving feedback. I appreciate that. I totally agree with you on the topic of the 58 being a great overall watch. With it's 39mm it surely also caters to a wider audience compared to the 54. However for me personally the 54 is a better fit on my wrist as it is smaller in size, while also having the great features the 58 also has (20mm lugs, water resistance etc.)
It’s a fair point - there are many 58’s available on the secondary market. I want this watch but also think a 58 would be just fine for a lot less…I have a 7.25” wrist so it’s tough to tell if this will be the right size for me….looking forward to trying one on for sure though!
@@williamgoggin3633 for some maybe it suits them better, but for me personally the blue BB58 is fantastic. For now anyways the BB54 can only be had at full retail, no deals to be had but that will change in a couple years.
Thanks for the comment! the 58 is a great watch thats for sure and has much more variety in terms of materials and dials. It's also one of Tudors flagship products. The 54 caters to a different audience - people like me that have loved the 58 but just wanted a smaller version.

Congrats 🎉 happy you like the BB54
I agree, but the Pelagos 39 is much better than the BB58 :)

I hope it’s true 😂

I have a question. I am getting this watch. I am curious if you were able to get a good fit?

@@stephenso3 awesomeness! Thx for replying.

Hey. How did you accomplish this? Did you have a company bespoke the leather to fit the original end links? Share your knowledge good sir!
Brown strap combo is 🔥
Thanks a lot!
It looks damn good with this black leather strap! 🔝
Thanks a lot! Link to the strap can be found in the description
Love the straps! I picked up a BB 54 about 2 weeks ago now and absolutely love it. Do you recommend a strap removal tool?
the best watch in the world for the value!!
Sure is a great watch.
Hello 👋 Fantastic watch, great strap choices 👌😉
Glad you like them!
Due to the hype of this watch, now it is traded at a much higher price than the retail. Another Rolex game was played.
It is a great watch.
It’s my one and only watch
Great choice!
I love the BB54, it feels perfect in my wrists
But why i really wrote a comment:
What jacket/shirt is that
Looks fire!
Thanks! The jacket is by zara (previous collection). Looking for a new one myself as mine has been worn a lot. 😅 haven't found a similar one yet.
um do you not recommend to dive with it ? I had the intention of diving with it soon
Very good review Nikolaus but please tell us your wrist size 🙂
Thanks a lot! My wrist size is 16.5cm
Looking very good indeed!
Thank you!
Hi what is the green strap brand? Thank you
Thanks! Strap is by HIRSCH called Arne. link to the strap is in the description 🙌
4:44 where did you get the black leather strap?
Leather Strap is from HIRSCH the bracelet - you can find the link to it in the video description.
What are the strap sizes please?
20mm
Hi, what is your wrist size? Thanks
16.5cm in circumference
It's perfect yes yes yes
It’s a very good watch 👍🏼
Ty very much.
You are damn right!
thanks
If you're going to take it off that lovely new bracelet then might as well get the older BB58 and save yourself a chunk of cash.
Yes, BB54! But no! Should be the Nomos Metro.
Interesting! Why do you like the Metro so much?
Talk about a hook for an intro.
I have a 8.25in wrist so no thanks
*Promosm* ☺️
Hmmm. Looks like everything else.

Do not buy into the hype! THe BB58 is the better watch for most and can be had on the secondary market for under $3000 USD 😊
Or, people who prefer the look and dimensions of this one will get this one. Because it's brilliant.

TOO SMALL!! I tried it, my wrist is average and it looks like a toy. No No No. Update the 58, that would be the best
The toy watch I had as a kid was huge. It opened up, and had candy inside.
Oversized watches are the toy watches, bruh.
You find a 39mm watch over sized???
I think it's perfect

is this pony brown the siena one?
Yes this is the Siena watch strap by @hirschthebracelet
