Tim Curry's performance in Rocky Horror is just perfect. I will never get over it. It's one of those movies where even if other characters are talking, you have to watch what Tim's doing, or you'll miss something truly amazing.
Fun fact- when Rocky horror was being made into a film several prominent actors showed interest in playing Frank N Furter-including Mick Jagger-but they decided to stay with Curry. Who else could be funny yet scary? Sexy yet evil? He is what legends aspire to be.

One thing I love about Tim is he throws himself into any role and he plays it so well whether it’s a villain role or just voice acting you can tell he’s an amazing actor either way

There are two versions of the audiobooks, the second one is read by someone else, as a head's up. I bought them off amazon. Even if sci-fi isn't your thing, it's Tim Curry! He does an awesome job. I hope you see this :-)
He played Scrooge in the Broadway musical of 'A Christmas Carol' back in the late 90's/ early 2000s. I saw him give a performance of that musical's song 'God Bless us Everyone' with its cast at the Macy's Parade some years ago.
I think the only time he did not play a villain was in 'the shout'. he would have been cast in clockwork orange if not for rocky horror. imagine if they put off production till he was free. 'clockwork orange' would have been completely different.
between The Wild Thornberrys, Rocky Horror Picture Show and IT, Tim Curry is extremely talented. No one can convince me otherwise. No man can Scar me as a child from a killer clown, in the same sense and make my childhood by being the voice of one of my favorite TV dads & as an adult, being a character who I come to adore. 🥰
There several great roles that were missed. I still think he is probably the most overlooked actors of our time. He is one of the best, his talent to make a character literally come alive and be believable is uncanny.

His role as Darkness in legend haunted my childhood dreams as I loved the movie and watched it frequently. The final scene with him being expelled into oblivion was captivating even though it scared the crap out of me, I could not turn away.

When I watched Legend waaay back when, and the makeup he wore as Darkness totally blew me away. Mind you this was way before the Internet, so it was a few years before I found out it was Mr Curry playing that part, same with Pennywise. I first became aware of Tim Curry's career from my favorite Don Bluth animated film "The Pebble and the Penguin" as Drake. Loved his performance in Muppet Treasure Island, Jimmy Neutron tv series, Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, and Rocky Horror.
I’ve seen so many Tim Curry performances. He’s never disappointed. He’s always been bigger than anything else in the scene always adding, never detracting.

I first became aware of Tim Curry's career from my favorite Don Bluth animated film "The Pebble and the Penguin" as Drake. Loved his performance in Muppet Treasure Island, Jimmy Neutron tv series, Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, and Rocky Horror.
I’ve seen so many Tim Curry performances. He’s never disappointed. He’s always been bigger than anything else in the scene always adding, never detracting.

My favourite episode of Tales from The Crypt, where Tim played three characters from the same warped family is fabulous, and showcases what a superb actor he really is :)

Poor Tim had a stroke and is now in a wheel chair. A true chameleon actor who can bend and disguise himself in almost any role, similar to Gary Oldman.

I first grew to love Tim Curry when he played Hexxus. So glad his Grand Wizard part got an honorable mention! I love him in Rocky as well.
Love Tim Curry. He could make even the dullest roles glisten... and gleam.
One TC gem worth mentioning is his performance as a charismatic, morally ambiguous DJ in 1980's Times Square. The movie is mostly forgotten nowadays but my friends and I went to it just to see him.

One of my favorite comedies of Mr Curry's is Oscar where he play a elocution teacher to mob gangster Sly Stallone. It is wonderfully funny with it's old style classic clean humor.
