Bargain does have one more situational use. If you use the Wigglytuff Orb in a Dungeon, the prices of the Camps are affected by Bargain. Also PP Pouch is not exactly what you said. It is random chance that it will restore 5 PP to one of your moves after a KO. I have had dungeons where it didn't proc at all.
@@salmence100 Yeah. Between the two PP recovery Qualities, I have found both of them to be lackluster. One is RNG(even the move it will restore is random) but heals 5 and the other is consistant but requires the move to be out of PP and only recovers 1. I find the Efficient Band item is way better for conserving PP than either of the rare qualities. lol
Phillip Rehkemper that’s what I’m running now. My shiny dragonite has forge a path and frosslass has small stomach. It’s INSANE. Paired with X-Ray specs and helllo farming
@Jared Jones Wouldn't really be an effective use since you have to have your toolbox with essentials like apples, oran berries and storage orbs are rare themselves.
I had a moment where I accidentally stole from a Kecleon shop. My partner had Evasive Rhythm, and with a huge stroke of good luck, we managed to avoid EVERY SINGLE ATTACK from each Kecleon we came across before we got to a nearby staircase. Sure, it was most likely the odds being in my favor, but let’s just say I did not want to start that dungeon over.
To have dodged every kecleon attack until you got to the stairs is a miracle they move twice per turn and dont they have fury swipes? Also were you already close to the stairs
I had the nerve to try having a pokemon sit on the stairs as i stole from kecleon, trying to cheese it. I was also unaware of the save mechanic. Safe to say, when i reloaded to face the same demise, i was not happy
@@cullenkenny98 Must have been hilarious in retrospective 😂😆😆 same thing with older FE games where even if you restart the console you see the same death/failures lol. Unless you restart the chapter(equivallent of dungeon in poke dx)😓
@@dannywilson9697 lonely courage is way too low on the list, i almost solo'd groudon as a totodile at level 40, as lonely courage roughly triples your defense from what i can tell
I started trying this today after reading. Its very useful! Especially cause you move so fast that in 20 floors i only ate 1 apple. And I'm using the walk through walls rq aswell. So hunger should be plummeting. But it isnt, I find stairs so incredibly fast. (Also it allows me to run moves like earthquake and muddy water on my swampert)
I think the rating is more about how often it'll be useful throughout the entire game because you'll usually be collecting team members. I think C fits for something that can be really strong with a specific build.
Steamroll is SOOO GOOOOD! My Partner Skitty has it, and it has saved my life and helped her with pesky ghosties! I regret getting rid of Small Stomach. That's one thing I dislike about it, it's a waste of gummis, trying to get the one Rare Quality you want. This is just me, but wouldn't it be cool if there was an option to "reclaim" Rare Qualities you got rid of on one Pokemon? Like say you get rid of Small Stomach for XP Boost. But later feel like Small Stomach was a better fit. So like maybe Gulpin would have an option to remember past skills for a fee or something.
Steamroll is amazing. Combining it with a Ground type who knows Earth Power, and it makes Monster Houses a joke. My Nidoking is my team leader and is basically unstoppable. Small Stomach is also based for long dungeons.
Small Stomach literally SAVED my life so many times. The hunger function is my least favorite thing about PMD, but this just completely nullifies it. I’m also extremely stingy when using my items - I try to avoid it at all costs. I remember so many times rage-quitting in older PMD games if I happened upon a grimy trap because it literally makes more than half of your food inventory bad. I was so grateful for the IQ skill that prevents the bad status but they still only filled up very little. This quality saved my ass in the 99F dungeons. I wouldn’t be mad to have Notorious Fasting either, but knowing you can eat anything to fill up your belly to full and use less inventory when going through long dungeons is seriously a blessing.
That’s y I want to get it so badly. I shat myself when I heard him talking about the quality. It might be my fave quality and I can’t wait to have it. Hunger is definitely the thing I struggle with the most in the game. Idk if it’s just for me but apples r like extremely rare (unlike earlier games). Also it seems the hunger bar goes a lot faster then earlier games. Y did they feel the need to make hunger so annoying compared to earlier games? It wasn’t bad in those ones.
On one particular occasion, against Groudon. One of my extras had Strike Back... Groudon hit the extras and constantly lowered its damage to the point it was negligible. There wasnt even a need for recovery after a bit. Against bosses, it deserves an A, in regular dungeons a C. Riled Up on the other hand is pretty decent in dungeons if you spend a long time in floors (shiny hunting, treasure box hunting, recruitment hunting). In such long runs, you are bound to be hit several times then passively recover. As long as you dont step on a wonder panel, youll keep the offense boost within the floor, making enemies even easier and faster to KO. Against bosses, its not as useful but it does shorten the battle. A while hunting, B against bosses.
I'm gonna agree with some of the other comments here and say that Notorious Fasting deserves a higher spot. Provided you are using a lot of ranged moves, you aren't going to get hit often and need constant regen. It also opens up some really cool build options. For example, my starter is a Charizard with the moves Sunny Day, Heat Wave, Flamethrower, and Air Slash. Thanks to Notorious Fasting, I can keep Charizard's ability, Blaze, active at all times once I run out of hunger and get to low hp. I then add on an Efficiency Bandana, PP Pouch, and Squeeze Out so I can spam Blaze-boosted Heat Waves in sunny weather. It gets to the point where I have so many boosts stacked up that I can easily 1-shot the majority of mons that resist fire, and I'm pretty sure the game just deletes the data of any mons weak to it. The only things that can really ruin this strategy are moves that hit the entire room since you are so low on hp, but luckily, Charizard is immune to the most common ones, being Earthquake and Magnitude.
@@cullenkenny98 It's a bit risky playing at low hp, but the amount of damage you can achieve is insane. I put on a Munch Belt like the other comment suggested, and with Blaze and Sunny Day active, I was hitting up to 859 damage. I'm not even maxed out on steroids yet.
Yeah steamroll is absolutely broken. I recruited a poochyena with it during the story and he was with me on almost every trip after because I knew it was massively broken from just reading the description
I was not prepared, in my food department, for Mt. Faraway and Far-Off Sea when I decided to take them on. Notorious Fasting was a life-saver so I personally wouldn't underestimate that rare quality. As for Steamroll, by far the best quality. I main Jolteon, so Discharge hits everything. It's a blessing
Here's the thing, I chose treecko at the start. I now have notorious fasting coupled with Giga drain, which is a beautiful combo. After having a bad experience in the stormy sea where I should have died due to hunger (yes I swapped through all members) and there being such a lack of apples in the stormy sea (yes I should have stocked up, but I didn't and that's my fault) and only surviving due to a delibird in a house within the dungeon that kept healing me with present... I'm now super grateful for notorious fasting. All in all, notorious fasting is pretty useful for survival in lengthy dungeons. Thank you for reading a paragraph on my opinion about a variable in a video game.
@@arrivals1 its better with Heracross and Cloyster by far tho. Hera can take on 99F solo dungeons and Cloyster shell smashes through everything else in the game with RBE
I agree on steamroll. My main team for post game has been Charizard, Raichu, and Zapdos. All three have room wide moves, and it's amazing having steamroll. Monster houses are such a breeze lol.
i love squad up my starter has it and its very helpful to have a bunch of meat shields from picking up pokemon in the dungeon when recruiting legendaries
Bargain saved my life. Everyone on my team died and my berries were eaten by stupid pidgies. And had less than enough for a revive all orb at full price.
I hate it when pokemon with bug bite (like weedles) just steal my oran berries. you need so many of them that losing just a few is catastrophic. Also, I am not certain, but I think bug bite can also eat reviver seeds.
Camden Harris it can indeed eat reviver seeds. I had such horrendous luck in one dungeon, I had brought 5 reviver seeds and I lost 4 to bug bites. It sucks so much because I then stepped into a monster house with Gastly and eggexcute. And I got snowballed by hypnosis and bullet seed. Lost all but one of my Pokémon to the monster house.
Camden Harris Weedle is the bane of my existence, fuck that Pokémon lol. Not only can it eat Oran berries like u said but it also took some of my apples which I was very scarce with at the time (still kinda am I really want that rare quality where anything u eat fills u up cause apples for me r the hardest thing to find and tiny reviver seeds I find so damn many of). But the reason I say this is cause it used it on me when I had a blast seed in my inventory and it ate it and 1 shot my Pokémon. I had a tiny reviver seed but still that thing gives me nightmares now 😂.
From my personal expirience, I would put "Leave Half" in S-Tier and "Small Stomach" in A-Tier. Especially for Joyous Tower and Purity Forest. Small Stomach is the best Rare Quality for filling the Belly, but only helps filling the Belly. The only situations I really needed that much hunger reducing was, when I was going trough walls with my Mismagius. Leave Half has much more usage. It gives Big Apples the abbility to not only fill one's Pokemon's Belly, but two. And most important, it lets you use Reviver Seeds twice. This was essential for me to clear the Purity Forest.
I'd say rapid bullseye would be between a and s. Especially for late dungeons like purity forest. Heracross is commonly used in purity forest since it has bullet seed and arm thrust. Especially when it mega evolves and gains skill link making multi hit moved hit 5 times every time.
Pro tip: Just use cloyster with skill link and rapid bull's-eyes. It has two multi-hit spells, shell smash and room clear with blizzard/hydro pump for another long range move. It's the best sweeper imo.
@@FifaSkiller1337 with heracross if it's mega evolved and you like bullet seed and pin missle every one of your moves is a critical hit since it has awakened status. It took out suicune in one turn. Was hilarious.
@@Vosia71 Cloyster has Shell Smash. Combined with a Twist Band, he can 1-2 shot all the bosses. Biggest downside is he never starts with a multi-hit move on the solo dungeons
Notorious Fasting wrecks all 99 floor dungeons, especially in the postgame where you can easily have Smeargle and teach him healing moves for when you get hurt. Really the only challenge in the postgame is making sure to have food for preventing hunger, with Notorious Fasting just get rid of apples entirely, and it pairs really well with forge a path in buried relic since you can just eat food to mine into a wall and save food for those treasures. Honestly the team spread of Notorious Fasting, Forge a Path, and Steamroll can really just wreck all postgame dungeons (and I know this isn't associated with this video but Smeargle is really OP in Mystery Dungeon since you can teach him moves like Milk Drink, Moonlight, Heat Wave, Discharge, rollout, etc, etc; he is really broken) Also, HP regen is pretty useless in the postgame; really if you are in the postgame or even the lategame you just have a party member who can heal or just use the ABUNDANCE of Life Seeds and Stirus Berries to have HP so high it wont even matter. Usually a Tier List accounts for the entirety of the game, and I find it kinda unfortunate how all of your S-Tiers only really seem to matter in the early game whereas it wont matter in the late or postgame compared to some of the abilities (like fasting) that you didn't rate high; the only exception being Steamroll because anyone who denies it being the best doesn't understand types at all. Sorry about the rant, and I really am curious to see what they do with IQ if they remake PMD2
I think I would rather have Small Stomach over Norotius Fasting, as in long dungeons you are bound to find all kinds of seeds/berries/apples, and especially in Burried Relic were you eat Life Seeds and Sitrus Berries all day long. Though, I guess it's just a matter of preferance.
I feel like you're really underrating Notorious Fasting. I had a scenario where I ran out of food, and I was able to continue going because I wasn't starving. As for regenerating HP, I feed a partner a seed or berry and restore their health before switching to the other Pokemon and restoring their HP.
I think I might have been biased when it comes to the belly saving qualities because I had Small Stomach so early on. Every time I had the option for a different one it seemed pointless
@@kumoko3728 this is also dependent on who you chose to start, I chose treecko, so I have access to draining moves which help me, so I do see the use in the skill, however I know I have probably the best starter to be paired up with this skill, so dependent on your character, you probably don't see the benefits as much, to each their own I suppose :)
I'm surprised you didn't mention how insane forge a path is in buired relic. Combined with small stomach and food finder you can basically make all your stats ridiculously high in just a few runs.
im not too knowledgeable about how its calculated, but doing a test proved to me that higher attack leads to thrown items like the iron thorn or silver spike to do more damage depending on the user's attack stat. given that many ranged moves are special, its a little harder for me to pick good moves for physical mons, but with throwing items, their attack stat is leveraged while also giving them a ranged option. thrown item boost could make this even better, and from experience, physical attacker+40 iron thorns by itself is a pretty strong pairing, and with thrown item boost the damage increase is even more, making essentially a 1-2 range physical attacker like absol into a sniper.
_GLXC Yeah, Iron Thorns are pretty underrated in the PMD community. I used to kill Dialga with those things in PMD2. They are also a great way to save PP, especially when PP-draining moves are used. Sad that they can’t be stacked as high anymore.
@@rainpooper7088 Also fully completing Desert Region in PMDX gives you 20 Gold Thorns and Gold Rocks/Fossils each time and isn't a very long dungeon to do, so it's really easy to get a whole bunch of throwing items in this game. I'm pretty sure depending on what thorn/spike is used gives additional attack to it too along with the user's attack with Gold Thorns being the highest I think.
Rapid Bull's Eye is by far the biggest game changer for me. Everybody: Find a spheal. Get it Rapid Bull's Eye. Get it rollout and ice ball. The game will not be the same. Add a miltank to this, which also learns rollout, helping hand, milk drink (heals all your team in the room by half hp), healing bell (no statuses ever again), etc. Monstrous. Actually unstoppable.
Have someone with streamroll as well so that nothing will be safe as that quality just nulls type matchup for moves meaning moves that would be not very effective or have no effect at all. I should know as my partner has bullseyes and absol has steamroll though sadly only my mc meowth has a multi hit attack though it shows it’s worth if I recruit Pokémon in dungeons that has a multi hit move.
Its worth pointing out you can use notorious fasting for finding mew and shinies in the game if that's your thing, so i think it could be in the C tier.
It kind of sucks that they got rid of the IQ system that let you have multiple skills for the rare quality skills that only let you have one. I mean, I get it since the IQ skills needed a metric shite ton of gummies and grinding to be worth while but still, Having the ability to make your Pokémon forces of nature for any situation was nice to have. But now with Rare qualities it’s the luck of the draw to see if you get a skill that’s good or even useable in a certain situation. Ether way, it’s a minor gripe on my part- just have to adapt to it.
Yeah, we traded a big grind that let you get really OP for rng at a chance of a good rare quality and you only get 1 per mon. I'd say overall the new system is more friendly but I can't say I don't miss the IQ system at least a bit. Wish they instead streamlined the grind for IQ instead of throwing it away tbh
@@blankname3816 I would have given the players an option of which to go for like, you have the choice between using Rare Qualities, Rare Qualities which you can have more than one, IQ skills, or a hybrid of both systems. But I guess they went with the, like you said, "friendlier" model to both deals with the pain/grind of the IQ system in place of the Rare quality system that affects the whole party.
I agree with the list for the story, but in post-game, your stats get so high with vitamins you only need a single pokemon for a dungeon.. Lonely Courage is very good post-game as you are almost always alone.
A simple strategy for lonely courage is to change your tactic to go the other way and have your party alone all the time to apply the effect and also have multiple rare qualities.
@@salmence100 did some testing, lonely courage is a 1.5x boost, and steamroll is a 1.43x boost for not very effective moves. this means that lonely courage is always better if using a single pokemon.
@@Soren_Pedersen yeah, if you happen to have coverage for every mon in the dungeon. Steamroll eliminates that and so, yes your damage output is slightly less, but you never have to worry about coverage
Notorious fasting is amazing. You never need to worry about food. If you do take damage, you can eat something and let your health fill up again an then continue to not worry about food at all. Especially if you don't take much damage anyways it takes away the need to manage your food. I often don't take any apples with me into a dungeon since I won't need them anyways. I find myself running it on my leader every time just for convenience alone.
Lonely courage is my absolute favourite, I beast through dungeons when rescuing other players teams (mainly silver trench) with my mudkip, in my opinion it should be a little higher on the list, but I like to run all dungeons solo.
For PP Pouch, the desc is pretty misleading as the restoration is not 100% and rather occasional (like 10%?). It also doesn't restore the move you used to defeat the enemy. IMO its probably B at best.
It actually encourages to have a team as intended since the beginning of the series instead of spending the post game solo because of how tedious it already is to max IQ on a single Pokémon and the more members the more troublesome it was to control.
I liked the change for the most part. A lot of the less powerful IQ skills were just integrated with the default AI, which is nice. But there are some that I do miss being able to get, like the lack of any replacement for Nontraitor can suck
Bargain is underrated when you have (in my case) 13 Gold Ribbons selling at 2500... just to realize the stairs are in the next room, one buddy has Agility aaaannnd... you steal them, hitting the stairs like your very life depends on it. Just to do it all again. I can't believe Pokemon left that mechanic in the game but you will pull in money like nobodies business.
"there's only one bossfight that has more than one enemy, and it's very early game" I know you're talking about the Team Meanies fight, but what about the Mankeys?
@Salmence The way I see it, Lightning Rod is a much better ability. With LightningRod, you’re gonna cheese the first part of the story, and even some portions of the post game dungeons. You don’t need Rock Head to make a good Cubone move set either. As far as I know, the Cubone line can only know one recoil move, Double-Edge, so not really worth a ability if it only influences 1 move.
I make really good use of notorious fasting because I have morning sun on my main team, do not having natural healing doesnt mean anything to me. It means I dont have to worry about belly at all.
How is rapid bulls eye not S+?! It literally enables the most powerful strat, skill link cloyster with 3 multi hit moves and blizzard. Get 3 of those, set them to explore on their own and you can get to the stairs so quickly everywhere. Literally oneshotting every enemy including bosses, with ranged multi hit moves. Give one of them steamroll and one of them small stomach and you’re set for life
I love using leap ahead for fighting strong foes in corridors so all 8 of my team can attack them at once and only the one at the front gets hit which can be pretty cool.
I recently grinded out pp pouch because I really wanted it. Then I realized it doesn’t trigger on every knockout. Then I became sad. Still glad I have it, it works quite nicely, but oof.
notorious fasting is awesome if you have your own source of healing. say, your team revolves around sunny day, and your support pokemon has morning sun. that's a full team heal boosted by sunlight. even more fun if you link it with a move like flare blitz, for the stab and to heal the recoil damage. you could also run grassy terrain so your entire team gets passive health regen. a lot of grass pokemon have abilities that go great with sunny day, like chlorophyll, which lets you attack twice while only using 1 pp. and even then, you can use skill swap to give the abilities to whoever can make the most use of them. stab heat wave boosted by sunlight that hits twice in a row sounds pretty nice
Food Finder + Small Stomach. Great for long dungeons such as Buried Relic or Silver Trench. Elimates the need to waste item space on the plain seeds you’d have with just Small Stomach. Enter with no items, leave the dungeon with no belly problems.
Honestly, the first time i saw small stomach, i couldn't believe it was this OP, especially in times where you have nothing to fill up stomach and every leader is low on it. So many times where it would save so much pain!
When I got small stomach and realized any seed or berry is applicable, my first thought was "This is probably the most broken ability in the game" I still haven't done any of the 99 floor dungeons yet, but I'm definitely bringing Small Stomach lol
I fell like the the one that lets you go through walls is game changing because in later dungeons at least there’s hidden stat boosting item hidden in the walls now with x rays specs you can see where these are and get these items with ease along with notorious fasting so when your hunger hits zero you don’t lose hp and combined with the fact you can push a Pokémon to break wall and you yourself lose no hunger means you can find an infinite amount of these items and get yourself to a bs level of power by having bs stats at any level The streamer that I was watching that did this went through a 99 floor dungeon already slightly overpowered and went out with a near 500 hp umbreon that had a few stats over 100 and a couple in the high 100s close to 200 and the rest of his team had 300 hp with stats well over 100 for some of them and I think one stat was even over 200 and his Pokémon where in the 50’s or upper 40’s in level which in my opinion is a game breaking exploit once your enabled god mode basically than use the rare qualities you ranked the highest then your golden
Okay but legit small stomach is so useful it changes the game entirely. Especially because you can increase you max stomach at the beginning of the game to 200 and each plain seed or random seed you fills you to max. So helpful.
i think the only thing keeping it out of S Tier is that its not useful if you dont use multi-hit moves. If you use them its OP, but all of the other S tiers are always useful, regardless of the situation.
I got really lucky when I first started, and the first gummy I gave to my partner got her steamroll. It's no lie how amazing and helpful the quality is. This video was really helpful, so thank you.
Notorious fasting being that low is insane to me, in longer dungeons sometimes food is just a problem to find even if you go in prepared it’s situational yes but not mentioning it’s use in 99f dungeons seems silly especially when you rated Friendly so high, usually those dungeon Pokemon are a lower level than you as is and either waste reviver seeds or just die in one to two hits, it also makes walking around tunnels much more awkward especially with larger sized Pokemon. I dunno that’s my opinion anyway that larger party is worse than the usual 3 Oh and personally I really like thrown item boost, it makes iron thorns and silver spikes do really high damage sometimes 190 plus and if you have a long dungeon to crawl through it helps your weaker Pokemon or your Pokemon lacking range deal that much needed safe extra damage from afar, it saves PP and does great damage, and helps the weaker Pokemon offer something to the team which amplifies friendly and squad up. Of course you did say it helps with friendly and obviously stops those horrific entire room moves that wipe out your team pretty quick.
Lonly courage makes splitting team useful, and it makes finding stairs easier, but if they dont have hit all moves monster houses become death sentences
PP Pouch and Small stomach are indeed game changing for those long dungeons. Steamroll is good if you're solo or going through the ghost dungeon. And narrow focus and rapid bulls eye are game changers too. Good list.
the only 2 conflicts I have with this list are the pp pouch, and thrown item boost. it may be a bug in my game, but pp pouch doesn't always restore my pp after a ko, and given that I one shot almost everything, it should, yet it doesn't. Thrown item boost doesn't become irrelevant late game if you ate using something like iron spikes, steel spikes, or corsola spikes. they scale with the players abilities allowing you a long range 40pp move that can do upwards of 300 dmg to any pokémon regardless of type and also allows teammates to use them if registered, and that damage is without thrown item boost as a rare quality. I wouldn't put it in S teir simply because it takes an item slot and the availability of spikes depends on the dungeon, but it's definitely an A teir in my book. thanks for the video, great breakdown.
I agree with a large amount of these, but I disagree with one placement. Rapid Bull's-Eye. Multi hit moves are incredible, but all have very low accuracy. This skill makes this weakness nonexistent. Another thing I want to bring up is (in my opinion) the best 2 pokemon in the game, rely on multi hit moves, being Heracross and Altaria respectively. Heracross is able to beat every boss in one turn after mega evolution around level 60, and skill link in combination with this rare quality make the Pokémon deal over 2,000-3,000 damage on average, same goes for altaria but without skill link. Even when not mega evolved any Pokémon with a multi-hit move will plow through any dungeon in the game, and rapid bull's-eye helps out with. Overall I think that this rare quality should be in high S-Tier, below steamroll. Ok rant over. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
You forgot about Cloyster which also has Skill Link and 2 multi-hit moves like Icicle spear and Spike cannon. Plus it can learn Shell Smash which double it's Attack, Sp. Attack and Speed
3:09 food finder is actually awesome imo ! it does require one support pokemon with small stomach but this duo skill combo does wonders for longer runs (silver trench and buried relic, eat one berry, any seed or tiny apple you automatically get full and with a couple early perfect apples you automatically go back up to 200 at most). i gave small stomach to my celebi since her moves are good support focus and i pretty much solo the fighting with kecleon with celebi barely killing anything let alone even attacking, he has food finder and i barely get below 20 belly thanks to this combo. nice to find lots of random apples instead of bickering how to flood my pouch before starting haha... kinda sad how underrated and/ or overlooked this tactic is... its not hard to power up one good pokemon in this game, just a bit time consuming. even faster with kecleon since hes nearly maxed by lv 100 without vitamins/ boosters but requires some preparation to get him
@@tf_lecter definitely not a bad idea, the skill makes them drop a lot... i even had a crapload in western cave which is one of the final post game areas. i still love using it with small stomach tho, i do that every mission =)
@@duboisstewart8265 problem is you cant have goggle specs to avoid those annoying (and genuinely bad) traps and tight belt at the same time. thats why i use this skill combo so i have both of these without worrying about 10+ traps on one monster house (yes ive seen that many)
Notorious fasting was handy for me when I was grinding for chestswhen dungeons had higher chances to drop them. Because I stayed on every floor until the wind started blowing it would cost me an insane amount of apples otherwise.
Notorious fasting is a god send for shiny hunting. Pop on some X-Ray specs, camp near the stairs and wait for the strong enemy to spawn. Tried this first with small stomach and ran out of Plain Seeds
10:59 i would have personally put it at F tier, since it takes a while to restore PP, and when it does its only one, so that kinda sucks. its the only thing i disagree with you though
Considering you can cycle through different moves while waiting for 0pp moves to restore, it seriously prolongs the amount of time you spend before needing pp restores
Playing Pikachu with brawl and having a enemy with steamroll and bringing Zapdos with Max pp max attack and Max accuracy discharge literally let's you walk right through a dungeon with no fucks given
I think you could've expanded on synergy for rare qualities a bit that makes them more op. Having recruit rate up on one of your main two pokemon can net you a ton of partners early on. Strike back + defensive rhythm + evasive rhythm or any combination of those three are really powerful for strong enemies and bosses. The tiny apple one + the full belly one are great as well, same with forge a path + tiny apple finding! But otherwise this was a really good and informative list :]
My setup that I am using for 100% contains Squad Up, Food Finder, and Small Stomach. Squad Up for easy recruits and can be super helpful for getting that last late dungeon recruit you might need to finish off all the Pokemon you need for that dungeon. Food Finder for the free small apples, they are a fantastic free food source (when combined with Small Stomach) and can also be used to get free guaranteed recruits on fainted Pokemon, helping with Squad Up, and often times these fainted Pokemon are ones that appear in later dungeons so you can get them early with no need for RNG. Finally Small Stomach, it makes camping floors for recruits effortless. Since I've had Small Stomach, I've never left a dungeon empty handed when it comes to recruits yet, I am always able to get a full five or the last few I needed. I'm still not far into my playthrough (I'm playing along with Chuggaaconroy's LP and he seems to be taking a break right now. He's probably playing Xenoblade and I don't blame him, I'm doing the same hehe) but I can't wait to get farther in. Obviously stuff like Steam Roll and Rapid Bullseye would be much better than my setup, especially for boss fights. But if you need to get recruits, I can think of no better setup. The only change you might be able to make is to swap out Squad up for something like PP Pouch or Squeeze Out, but I use three Efficient Bandannas and hardly ever run out of PP anyways.
Steamroll is 100% one of the best Rare Qualities. I kept resetting until I got it on my Cubone until I got Steamroll so I could hit Rayquaza with Bonemerang. I had to reset my first save due to bad planning when going into Rayquaza, but with Cubone with Steamroll, Totodile with Tight Formation, and Poliwag with Strike Back, I did it.
I think this is a pretty good list. I'd increase Rapid Bullseye to S tier because even though it's situational, it's a situation players should be aiming for and is very game-changing. I'm running Heracross with it and 3 of its moves are multi-hit. Combined with Mewtwo Steamroll...
Small stomach and food finder makes a really good combo, food finder makes tiny apples easy to find and small stomach makes your belly fully filled if you eat any food item, such as tiny apples
Good tier list my dude. A few suggestions: a) Notorious fasting is great for shiny hunting/chest farming. I bring a Pokémon with this into dungeon and I no longer need apples/worry about hunger and it saves me bag space. b) Forge a Path is hands down the best option for vitamin farming in Buried Relic. 1 hunger per wall instead of 5. c) PP Pouch is more of an A than an S. d) Link boost on an Altaria might be the only combination in the game capable of 1 shorting Kecleons
During the run of Kyogre’s dungeon, I recruited a Pokémon with Strike Back and another with Notorious Defence. God damn that fight went well, the moment it used its signature move, it immediately received -6 Attack and Special Attack, while everyone’s defences were bulked up beyond necessary, it managed to kill the Pokémon swarming around it, and that was only when it was in its second phase, and it died the same turn.
I had some good luck with food finder early on. Not because of the hunger by the way, but because the tiny apples you get from it are double the price of normal apples. And it happens in every dungeon. Have no missions that are grouped up more then 2? At bronze you can take even the tiny levels and get at least 50 poke from the shop. Find a better item? Just eat the tiny apple. I don't even have to grind any of the dungeons with the treasure bonus because of this rare quality. Mix it up with Sale Pitch and you can get much more. In the early game it allowed me to get all the camps without doing much grinding with the cost of going to the store and pressing the R button. I can tell you it makes the dungeons longer though because you need to get the items for this grind, but for someone who was planning to do that anyways it saved me a lot of time. It also helped that it got me some TM moves that got me the range I wanted before my pokemon could learn the move by leveling so my attacks where already a little powered up when I needed them.
I agree SO MUCH ABOUT Narrow Focus and SmalI Stomach. I had a swampert with narrow focus and an Umbreon with small stomach, which is quite a good combo of offense and defense.
PP pouch is overrated here. As others pointed out, it doesn’t work exactly as described in the video, but even if it did honestly I’ve never had a problem with pp my entire run through. I mean, you get so many ethers and elixirs as early game rewards and I found that I was tripping over them in dungeons. I didn’t once get into a position where I was out of PP on a move and was unable to restore it if I wanted, so I don’t think the quality is that useful at all. Might be one of those things where it feels like a lifesaver because we’re so careful about how much resources we use and having that pressure taken off is great. But honestly it just isn’t needed imo
Fuck I’ve had squad up on my cubone since my first rainbow candy. He just got the choice of learning PP pouch. Fuck!.. I guess during campaign mission you won’t get to recruit.. but PP pouch will still work.. I’ll just switch it.. but I’ve been leaving dungeons with full teams so far.. FUCK!
I picked Cubone and struggled a lot in sky tower, because Bonemerang was my strongest move but i couldnt use it on any flying or levitate pokemon which is like 90% of the pokemon. I managed to make it through with barely any items left, and then ended up losing to Rayquaza. I did a little off screen grinding and managed to get Steamroll. I made it through the whole sky tower using one oran berry and zero reviver seeds. Rayquaza got a single attack off before going down. He's right, Steamroll is absolutely busted
I literally got Steamroll on my Starter and Small Stomach on my Partner. Currently I have Link Boost on my third Pokémon, which is a Scyther with the linked moves Focus Energy and Quick Attack (I'm still early on in the game, lv 20). Either way, I used Linked moves a lot, so it's always nice to stack up all that damage!
Friendly is definetly useful cant tell you how many times i got a whole squad before a boss fight in a dungeon and its a game changer just using those pokemon as bait so you dont die lol
Thrown Item Boost is actually a godsend in the reset dungeons. It turns all those Iron Thorns and Silver Spikes into extremely powerful panic buttons that can OHKO any dangerous foe from far away, with no risk of being caught and thrown back at you. You can even lure multiple enemies into a corridor and kill all of them at once with a piercing Silver Spike. I wouldn't recommend it on your team leader over Squad Up or Small Stomach, or Rapid Bullseye if you're using Heracross, but for secondary allies and random recruits it's one of the best rare qualities you can have in those dungeons. Granted, I used the Swords Dance/Fell Stinger Ariados strategy, so I don't know how effective it is without boosting your attack every floor.
I’ve actually been pretty pleased with Food Finder now that I’m playing the game; i don’t stockpile the tiny apples, just eat them as soon as i get them, and it’s pretty good for keeping the leader topped off. I mean, you can swap leaders and never worry about hunger causing trouble, but it’s good for endurance dungeons, and pairs real well with small stomach
Thw worst part is, I recorded that part like three times because I knew something was wrong, but didnt know what, and then in editing I STILL didn’t get it lol
XP boost is great but i'm already lvl 100 lol. Small stomach is the best, no question. Let's say ur belly is 1 and ur max belly is 200 (eating 2 perfect apples) If u eat a PLAIN SEED or PECHA BERRY ur belly is now 200/200. It's literally so hard to starve with small stomach. It makes the hunger mechanic a nonfactor. Then u just wear efficient bandanas so u don't have to worry so much about PP. PP Pouch is also fantastic with efficient bandanas (item)
Friendly and it’s counterpart friends in numbers or whatever it’s called is a godsend for the challenge for recruiting all the Pokémon in the game and for shinys
If you get some hp and are dealing with longer dungeons, notorious fasting quickly become one of the best qualities. I never have to eat (or heal really) in any dungeon. Just plop on auto mode and rush through 12 rescues at once. Saves you a lot of time, and passive healing is SUPER SLOW when you have 300-500 hp anyway.
Yea I think a lot of these are subjective just because there are people who would rate certain abilities higher depending on their team structures or play-styles, although for the most part I think your tier list is pretty accurate objectively speaking. I for one would personally put Rapid Bulls Eye in S just because Heracross can literally turn the game into a joke with this ability, especially when combined with Steamroll. Also incredibly useful when paired with Altaria or Smeargle. That's just me though. Notorious Fasting should definitely be at least B/A imo. Although it's outclassed overall by Small Stomach, late game HP restoration becomes a lot less important and pairing this quality with something that has Blaze, Torrent, Overgrow, Swarm, etc is really neat. It also lets you camp on floors for as long as you want which is really useful for hunting Mew in Buried Relic (at least until the Wind shows up). Definitely not a useless ability. PP Pouch is pretty mediocre tbh. It's amazing when it procs the right move, but there lies the issue. Sometimes you will have dungeons where it never procs and you end up having to use Ethers/Elixers anyway. Super inconsistent, and still forces you to bring PP restoring items as a precautionary measure. Squeeze Out is at least consistent in what it does although it sucks that it requires 0 PP. I think both should be the same rank imo. One can be useful but is overall super inconsistent, while the other is very consistent but sucks to always be at 0.
Food finder is God tier tbh, I carry 1 apple with me into most dungeons and just eat the tiny ones every time I find them, I usually come out with more apples than I went in with lol
I got squad up on my main character, don’t know if that’s a random chance or you always get it but it was from my first 3 gummi’s I got at the start of the game and so far (I got the game yesterday) it’s been super helpful, by the end of a dungeon I have at least 5-6 Pokémon behind me, although it was a little tricky when I had recruited 3 Onix after forgetting I had one, twice....
I use a Charizard with Steamroll and have a Groudon as partner Pokémon. I just spam Heat wave while the weather is Sunny because of drought and clear almost every dungeon
Steamroll is great, but I'll forever be scarred by the time that I was using an Earthquake team (with Brawl for maximum wreck potential), and I stupidly recruited a flying type with Steamroll and then proceeded to decimate my own team with Earthquake. Thank god I always carry a revive all orb. Also, as a side note. I was trying to get Shared Happiness on my Altaria since it has Natural Cure (so it'd be like Natural Cure for the entire team) and for the life of me I could not get it. Altaria is probably the best defensive Pokémon I have now bc of that. Is it just rng or am I doing something wrong?
Finally somebody else who are pointing out that steamroll can screw you over hard. I'm using a swampert with EQ + Surf paired with mantine to deal with rooms without worry. Mantine is the only mon immune to both I think which makes it a decent mon to pair with it for having squad up/friendly. Steamroll basically nulls the reason for me to choose mantine... I tested it...
I honestly prefer swift as my attacking move over Trump Card. Absurdly powerful (max sp. Atk buffs and max power move hits ~450 every time), 30PP max, cuts corners and never misses. Really good and saved me a few times before I was maxed on stats when fighting enemies or bosses that gave me trouble like Kyogre. Even without max boosts I was hitting ~150-200 and hit twice in a row
It‘s been mentioned already, but PP Pouch sucks. It’s C-Tier at best, but can easily be F-Tier if you’re unlucky. In my experience, it never activates when you need it and when it does it’s never on the move you want. By far the most disappointing quality compared to its description. I agree with most of the others though.
During the fugitive part of the story, I ran into SO MANY Kecleon dungeon stores... made me wish I had a Sales Pitch teammate and a bunch of Gold Ribbons and Link Boxes. Otherwise, I always bring some Gold Ribbons and a Sales Pitch member to easy to manage dungeons with stores and rescues, when I decide not to do some long dungeon hike. Of course, it doesn't really help during the process of reaching the bottom, but I also go selling and buying things while on a rescue job in an easy dungeon with stores. I'd use Notorious Fasting as a back-up for when I run out of food items. I know there are times when it's smooth sailing for a few floors, then get screwed over entirely on one thanks to a trap, pluckers or bug biters. I always like to combine hunger-based rare qualities together. Small Stomach and Food Finder is a fave of mine. You can just refill each and every of your team's belly on the spot without filling up your toolbox (while eating the seeds and berries also help too). And in the cases you do pick up tiny apples, you can always use them to revive fainted adventurers, so good for recruiting too!
I believe the fugitive part has more dungeon stores, due to you not being able to access the town. You can use that to your advantage and just get Sales Pitch for that one part of the story if you can pull it off.
Heracross with Rapid Bull's eyes, Exeggutor with Small Stomach, and exeggutor with pp pouch. Rapid bulls eye ensures multi hit moves dont miss. Small stomach removes hunger as an issue and pp pouch does the same for pp. Exeggutors have bullet seed, barrage, uproar, and sunny day. Sunny day procs clorophyll ability, causing attacks to hit twice. Heracross has fury attack, arm thrust, bullet seed, and pin missile. When mega evolved heracross has the skill link ability, causing all multi hit moves to hit the maximum number of times. This means exeggutors can clear entire rooms with uproar, especially when hitting up to 3 or 4 times thanks to sunny day. Heracross can hit have all multihit moves and hit an enemy up to 10 times in a turn, doing between 1500 and 1800 damage. The entire team combined can hit almost any enemy at any range as well as clearing a monster house in a single turn with exeggutors. Adding agility instead of sunny day to one of the exeggutors will allow the team to do some of the most insane damage ive seen. Cant even do the math.
My team has 2 A qualities already and my dustox with moonlight has Small stomach which is op to me I always bring dustox for healing or to fill my belly. Also my other 2 team members are mewtwo and swampert. Swampert has forge a path and mewtwo(who was very hard to beat) has got leave half
To who ever needs this (After you finish your stat farm method 500HP, 200+ ATK or SP-ATK, 150+ in both DEF stats and 200+ SPD, accuracy, power ups and pp ups) pick your 2 power house pokemon partners with warp scarves using aoe or long range moves with the abilities Brawl, Lonely courage and steamroll. u can set everyone to *go the other way* while you have X-Ray Specs or a Stamina Band. You can press Auto walk and find the stairs without running into pokemon almost at all. They will one shot monster houses, pick up every item they see. and reveal the map in seconds. They can even solo kecleon attacks by them selves(If you do this, get a pokemon with Drain Punch). Dont use this method if you want to farm friends because you will rarely run into any pokemon. (you can get rid of lonely courage for small stomach if you hate constantly equipping the Big Eater Belt) (for lvl 5 dungeons use small stomach, a mobile scarf, and if there's a boss you have to fight at the end while you're still a low lvl, spam helper orbs)
It was nice hearing a second opinion on all these rare qualities, Rapid bull's-eye has got to be my favorite, have a Sandslash with rollout, and it always strike 5 times without ever missing, and rollout is powered up further by defense curl so I also have it linked with that.
I like with how powerful multi-hit moves in the original game were, they basically went "let's make them even better". No complaints here though, I like seeing moves be good that normally don't get much attention in the main series.
I’m late but you can pair narrow focus with perish song and faint entire floors of pokemon simultaneously only 2 things stop it and that’s ghost types and pokemon with the move refresh which are both pretty rare.
Ah darn, I figured one of them would have an error if I didn't have personal experience with it, didn't think it'd be one of my S ranks lol
@@salmence100 Yeah. Between the two PP recovery Qualities, I have found both of them to be lackluster. One is RNG(even the move it will restore is random) but heals 5 and the other is consistant but requires the move to be out of PP and only recovers 1.
I find the Efficient Band item is way better for conserving PP than either of the rare qualities. lol
Good to know thanks!
Gonna pin this so that the info is top of the comments!
Wait really? My interpretation was that bargain only worked for items so, camps were out.
Can we confirm this?
Gotta say, pairing up the "forge a path" with the "food finder" and the "small stomach" is busted for the buried relic stat farming.
Phillip Rehkemper that’s what I’m running now. My shiny dragonite has forge a path and frosslass has small stomach. It’s INSANE. Paired with X-Ray specs and helllo farming
Only problem is only those that come with you can get the stat boosts since there’s so many to find per floor.
@@victordavila1475 bring lots of storage orbs. XD. Just kidding... but what if...
@Jared Jones Wouldn't really be an effective use since you have to have your toolbox with essentials like apples, oran berries and storage orbs are rare themselves.
If you combine "Leave half" it can also be very op

@@dannywilson9697 lonely courage is way too low on the list, i almost solo'd groudon as a totodile at level 40, as lonely courage roughly triples your defense from what i can tell
@@cole4836 Wait, really? Damn that's OP
So like maybe Gulpin would have an option to remember past skills for a fee or something.
steamroll and narrow focus are huge for me.
Steamroll is amazing. Combining it with a Ground type who knows Earth Power, and it makes Monster Houses a joke. My Nidoking is my team leader and is basically unstoppable. Small Stomach is also based for long dungeons.
"Blast traps are rare"
Me, having already stepped on 4 of the things and only clearing skarmory: *INTERESTING*
I swear I always happen to step on all of them
Small Stomach literally SAVED my life so many times.
@@davidstratton696 small stomach is ok but notorious fasting is so much better.
"Hah, can't even leave a dent, huh, Groudon? "Forger of Continents" my--"
Koffing I recruited: Heehee, Clear Smog go WOOSH!
The only things that can really ruin this strategy are moves that hit the entire room since you are so low on hp, but luckily, Charizard is immune to the most common ones, being Earthquake and Magnitude.
munch belt along with notorious fasting is such a good combo for boosted attack and sp.attack!
Not a bad idea, never considered blaze (or similar) as useful. That with lonely courage + brawl could be amazing

Before I started the video, I already expected that Steamroll will be at the top tier.
It's a blessing
have to agree there. i personally feel it should be at least A tier. it lets you ignore belly till you get more food, so no more 3 damage per step.
Monster houses are such a breeze lol.
in my opinion discharge is the best single hit move in the game, espesially with steamroll
For 99 Floor crawls @lvl 5, Rapid Bulls Eye.
For shiny hunts, Friendly, Squad Up.
For explorations, Small Stomach, Forge a Path.
For training pokemon, 2 with xp boost, then the one you want to train.
i love squad up my starter has it and its very helpful to have a bunch of meat shields from picking up pokemon in the dungeon when recruiting legendaries
Bargain saved my life. Everyone on my team died and my berries were eaten by stupid pidgies. And had less than enough for a revive all orb at full price.
That's some threading the needle shit. Nice.
I hate it when pokemon with bug bite (like weedles) just steal my oran berries. you need so many of them that losing just a few is catastrophic. Also, I am not certain, but I think bug bite can also eat reviver seeds.
Nothing is useless
I agree with half of what you said.
Everyone is talking about saving their belly from going down and I’m just sitting here with my tight belt on.

Honestly the team spread of Notorious Fasting, Forge a Path, and Steamroll can really just wreck all postgame dungeons (and I know this isn't associated with this video but Smeargle is really OP in Mystery Dungeon since you can teach him moves like Milk Drink, Moonlight, Heat Wave, Discharge, rollout, etc, etc; he is really broken)
Also, HP regen is pretty useless in the postgame; really if you are in the postgame or even the lategame you just have a party member who can heal or just use the ABUNDANCE of Life Seeds and Stirus Berries to have HP so high it wont even matter.

_GLXC
Yeah, Iron Thorns are pretty underrated in the PMD community.
Rapid bull's eyes turned cloyster into a Tommy gun
Its worth pointing out you can use notorious fasting for finding mew and shinies in the game if that's your thing, so i think it could be in the C tier.
Tight Belt
Again I’d argue steamroll is better here, you’ll have a hell of a time beating type disadvantaged dungeons alone.
@@salmence100 Might be. Depends on how big the LC buff is. If its 1.4x or more LC is better.
Imagine losing at like floor 90 of silver trench and some random steamrolls the dungeon with a lonely mudkip
For PP Pouch, the desc is pretty misleading as the restoration is not 100% and rather occasional (like 10%?). It also doesn't restore the move you used to defeat the enemy. IMO its probably B at best.
Here to say that rare qualities are a great change. The IQ system was TERRIBLE.
I agree tbh, much less grindy
It actually encourages to have a team as intended since the beginning of the series instead of spending the post game solo because of how tedious it already is to max IQ on a single Pokémon and the more members the more troublesome it was to control.
Love that the exp is spread around too! I only ever got enough Gummis to make a couple Pokémon’s iq good
I also like the change but both have their pros and cons. One annoying thing about rare qualities is the involved RNG.
"there's only one bossfight that has more than one enemy, and it's very early game"
I know you're talking about the Team Meanies fight, but what about the Mankeys?
Deoxys would like to have a word with him lol.
Starter Cubone gets Lightning Rod, not Rock Head.
Ohhh that sucks tbh, I’m used to explorers of sky when you get both abilities
@@salmence100 TBF Lightning Rod is great for a partner who's weak to electric types.
Salmence rematch zapdose noth said
I got Steamroll on my Hero Cubone after Zapdos and let me tell you, made the Fugitive Arc a breeze
BRUH
I make really good use of notorious fasting because I have morning sun on my main team, do not having natural healing doesnt mean anything to me. It means I dont have to worry about belly at all.
You should rank the bandannas, ribbons, lenses, etc! It'd be nice to see your perspective :)
Give one of them steamroll and one of them small stomach and you’re set for life
My two starters got Steamroll and PP Pouch with my main third having Notorious Fasting. I didn’t realize how much of a god roll this team is
Fury swipes+ rapid bull’s eye+ pp pouch+ Steamroll =GOOD TIMES ROLLING
So helpful.
Idk about bull's eye being in A tier, starter cubone with bonerang, trash or outrage can basically 1 move anything (exept for bosses ofcourse)
i think the only thing keeping it out of S Tier is that its not useful if you dont use multi-hit moves.
I dunno that’s my opinion anyway that larger party is worse than the usual 3
Oh and personally I really like thrown item boost, it makes iron thorns and silver spikes do really high damage sometimes 190 plus and if you have a long dungeon to crawl through it helps your weaker Pokemon or your Pokemon lacking range deal that much needed safe extra damage from afar, it saves PP and does great damage, and helps the weaker Pokemon offer something to the team which amplifies friendly and squad up.
Tbh I’ve never needed more food with small stomach, I end up finding enough berries naturally without food finder
tight band people
@@duboisstewart8265 problem is you cant have goggle specs to avoid those annoying (and genuinely bad) traps and tight belt at the same time. thats why i use this skill combo so i have both of these without worrying about 10+ traps on one monster house (yes ive seen that many)
you can just put goggle specs on a partner, same with xray specs
Notorious fasting was handy for me when I was grinding for chestswhen dungeons had higher chances to drop them. Because I stayed on every floor until the wind started blowing it would cost me an insane amount of apples otherwise.
Notorious fasting is a god send for shiny hunting.
Pop on some X-Ray specs, camp near the stairs and wait for the strong enemy to spawn.
Tried this first with small stomach and ran out of Plain Seeds
10:59
i would have personally put it at F tier, since it takes a while to restore PP, and when it does its only one, so that kinda sucks.
its the only thing i disagree with you though
But otherwise this was a really good and informative list :]
food finder, small stomach, and wary walk are my favorite. Comes in handy on long dungeons
A few suggestions:
a) Notorious fasting is great for shiny hunting/chest farming.
DID SOMEBODY SAY UMBREON?!😃
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAA-
sorry, Umbreon is my favorite Pokémon😅
My top 5 favorite Pokémon
1 Umbreon (gen II)
2 Zeraora (gen III)
3 Miraidon(gen IX)
4 Iron Hands (gen IX)
5 Slither Wing (gen IX)
Yeah... I have like over 100 of both Max Ethers/Elixers in my storage.
I make the irrevalent pronunciation mistake all the time lol. Sick video, subbed
Thw worst part is, I recorded that part like three times because I knew something was wrong, but didnt know what, and then in editing I STILL didn’t get it lol
this is one of your more popular videos, and thats really cool, so congrats
XP boost is great but i'm already lvl 100 lol. Small stomach is the best, no question. Let's say ur belly is 1 and ur max belly is 200 (eating 2 perfect apples)
If u eat a PLAIN SEED or PECHA BERRY ur belly is now 200/200.
Saves you a lot of time, and passive healing is SUPER SLOW when you have 300-500 hp anyway.
llol why not just use the tight band? waste of a rare quality space imo
@@duboisstewart8265 assuming you even have it. what would you use?
Mochi depends on my objective in each dungeon, rn trying to get mew so friendly, squad up, and scizor (which doesn’t have a good rq) is on my team
Rapid Bull's-Eye, Small Stomach, and Steamroll/Food Finder. The perfect dungeon traversing set-up.
I just spam Heat wave while the weather is Sunny because of drought and clear almost every dungeon
that seems kinda OP hahaha
I love the OP shenanigans with all pf these different Rare Qualities!
Squeeze out is tremendous if you have an eevee in the main party, trump card
Food Finder + Small Stomach is kinda OP tbh
And in the cases you do pick up tiny apples, you can always use them to revive fainted adventurers, so good for recruiting too!
llol why not just use the tight band? waste of a rare quality space imo
I believe the fugitive part has more dungeon stores, due to you not being able to access the town. You can use that to your advantage and just get Sales Pitch for that one part of the story if you can pull it off.
I'd bring Brawl a bit higher on the list. Pairs very well with room wide moves and the one room orb
I didn't know Rapid Bull's eyes existed but now I'm definitely gonna get it for my heracross cloyster beedrill team
(you can get rid of lonely courage for small stomach if you hate constantly equipping the Big Eater Belt)
(for lvl 5 dungeons use small stomach, a mobile scarf, and if there's a boss you have to fight at the end while you're still a low lvl, spam helper orbs)
