I see some comments in Japanese here. My Babylon Japanese-English translator doesn't always express the nuance of what was stated so I'll say this to clear things up. On the original released version by Shinohara Nobuhiko around 2012-'13 I was given full composer's credits for the lyrics I wrote and they're in the CD liner notes. In fact the lyrics were printed out as well there. Oddly on the Asahi television page for the TV show “Sekai No Kaido Wo Yuku” the song is featured on it but according to some of my Japanese friends I do not get any written credit for co-authorship, which is irritating. I'm not sure if that extends to the TV show broadcast end credits, which if so would be disingenuous and unprofessional. However, I do get regular paper statements from Pony Canyon publishing for the song. Unfortunately the song hasn't sold enough and earned enough for Pony Canyon publishing to pay me any money because the minimum threshold of a "certain amount" to make a payment to me hasn't been reached because it has to be transferred from Yen to Dollars and a specific level of earning before payment can be made.
Another BS Japanese wrong treatment there on this super talent!!! someone who doesn't even know any english gets the full credit on this song which is airplayed daily without Alan Merrill's name as a co-writer!!!! They need to apologize and introduce this beautiful song more properly in Japan. I don't understand what's happening with their normally well-known honest nature!
